To level up quickly, one had to monopolize the monsters.

After clearing out the surrounding guild members, Jiang Chen was the only person left. There were a total of six respawn points, all within a hundred meters.

Every ten minutes, a Demonic Purple Tin Snake would respawn. With six spawn points, this meant six snakes every ten minutes, each yielding 520 experience points. This amounted to 3,120 experience points in ten minutes, or 18,000 experience points per hour.

It was enough for Jiang Chen to level up.

Jiang Chen activated the Heavenly Ruler Dragon Mode, and three hundred flying swords circled beside him. As soon as a Demonic Purple Tin Snake respawned, it was instantly slain by Jiang Chen.

Jiang Chen returned to his room in Eilrus Town and lay down on his bed to rest. Just as he settled, he received a message from Black Phoenix.

"Are you there?"

"Yes."

"The equipment you need, the King's Crown Boots, I've found them. When should we trade?"

Jiang Chen was startled. She found the King's Crown Boots, part of the Diamond Suit, so quickly?

"We can trade immediately."

"Good. Come to my room, number 301."

Jiang Chen tidied himself up and went to room 301. Inside, he saw Black Phoenix and Ruo Li. There was also a warrior present, clad in a set of Heavy Armor and carrying a giant sword on his back.

Black Phoenix took out the King's Crown Boots from her Space.

"Wait."

"I want to invite you to join the Black Dragon Legion."

Jiang Chen was taken aback. "You're with the Black Dragon Legion?"

Ruo Li smiled. "You didn't just find out now, did you? The leader of the number one ranked Black Dragon Legion at Shenlong Academy is Black Phoenix's older brother. Impressive, right?"

Black Dragon, Black Phoenix? They really are sisters!

However, I have no intention of joining the Black Dragon Legion. Isn't it good enough to level up by fighting monsters alone? My own experience gain isn't even sufficient for myself; sharing it with others would be foolish!

Jiang Chen flatly refused, "Not interested."

Ruo Li smiled. "Are you worried about sharing experience with others in a team? You don't have to worry about that at all. If you want to grind solo, just grind solo. Nobody will force you."

The so-called Attribute Value upgrade involved enhancing the Four-dimensional Attributes. The conditions for earning military merits were stringent: the Divine Gods would issue missions, which the legions would undertake. Successful completion would grant a certain amount of military merits.

Ruo Li said with a laugh, "Let me show you my legion's attributes."

Ruo Li displayed her Legion Badge.

Jiang Chen looked at these attributes. They added up to an increase of 65 points across the Four Dimensions. For ordinary people, these legion attributes were fantastic.

But to me, these attributes aren't of much value.

Each alliance had a city to defend and would attempt to seize the cities of other alliances. The alliance that succeeded in doing so would be declared the winner.

The Divine Gods would grant certain rewards, which might be equipment, unique Skill Books, or military merits.

Participants in the Alliance Battlefield wouldn't truly die. If killed, they would be immediately teleported out, and their equipment wouldn't drop. It was simply a competition between alliances.

However, to enter the Alliance Competition, participants had to be under Level 50, must not have reached the First-stage in their profession, and had to still be university students. The competition was held once every three years, and it was scheduled for this year. Entry required joining a legion.

Black Phoenix spoke bluntly, "You're very strong. I want you to join the Black Dragon Legion to prepare for the Alliance Competition. There are legion rewards as well as individual rewards in the competition."

"The legion rewards are essentially military merits, while individual rewards include equipment and Skill Books. Whoever wins first place in the competition can obtain a unique Skill Book, or even unique equipment."

Generous rewards, unique Skill Books, unique equipment... this could work! But the only condition is joining a legion.

Jiang Chen thought of Hanna. No wonder she approached me back then. She probably had the same idea: to prepare for the Alliance Competition.

"Didn't you say you were very innocent? How can you tease others?"

"Being innocent and teasing others are two different things, okay?"

Ruo Li rolled her eyes. "Damn, you actually have a point!"
