In the Dark Palace.

Demon King Beckley sensed an invasion of his territory and would tolerate no intruders. His minions, weapons in hand, headed toward Jiang Chen, prepared to kill the invaders.

At that moment, Jiang Chen was sitting on a large tree, drinking Water and eating bread, enjoying this brief moment of peace.

Jiang Chen's response was indifferent. "Don't try to pressure me. I know you need rest too. Besides, no one knows what the future holds. You might even die here."

This is so awkward. The Demon King sees his mortal enemy but doesn't attack; instead, he stands aside making sarcastic remarks.

Chiyoshima Hitomi also showed no intention of attacking. She wanted Jiang Chen to join her in killing the Demon King first.

Chiyoshima Hitomi urged, "Jiang Chen, if we kill the Demon King, this whole affair can be forgotten. I won't pursue you anymore. As a Hero, it's your responsibility."

Jiang Chen remained unmoved. Her words might deceive a three-year-old. Who knows what she's really thinking? I only trust myself.

Chiyoshima Hitomi turned to look at Jiang Chen, frowning deeply. This damned guy!

Beckley laughed heartily. "You foolish woman! You want to kill him, yet now you're begging for his help? Only an idiot would agree. Do you think he's an idiot?"

Chiyoshima Hitomi looked at Jiang Chen. "Do you intend to betray the All Gods? To become a Corrupted one?"

Beckley interjected, "Don't be afraid. If you can't stay in the Alliance of All-Gods, come over to our side. What do you want? We can give you anything—status, women, power, all of it."

Jiang Chen was even less interested in the Demon King's proposal. Become a Dark Creature? A monster covered in fur? I have no interest. It's better to stay with the Alliance of All-Gods. I don't want to be around those stupid Dark Creatures.

Chiyoshima Hitomi exclaimed angrily, "You're courting death!"

Chiyoshima Hitomi Teleported directly beside Demon King Beckley and slashed at him with her sword. Beckley seemed to have anticipated her move. His huge Scythe came down in response, blocking Chiyoshima Hitomi's attack. He even forced Chiyoshima Hitomi back several meters. As she retreated, her left hand shot out, sending Flames towards Demon King Beckley.

With a flash of his Scythe, Demon King Beckley leaped towards Chiyoshima Hitomi, slashing continuously. A Black Aura Sword surged towards her.

Chiyoshima Hitomi rapidly retreated, swiftly moving out of the attack range. So strong! His movements are fluid and natural, truly befitting the Dark Zone Demon King.

Jiang Chen watched them fight. Their speed was incredible. Chiyoshima Hitomi's attack methods were diverse. Demon King Beckley's Offensive Power was immense, and his speed was also remarkable. He was clearly a battle-hardened veteran. That Scythe in his hand was especially terrifying.

The two paused their movements.
