Working as a police officer in Mexico

Chapter 584: You Can Call Uncle Sam Evil, But Not Incompetent! (Part 2)

Borrowing tactics, expanding the scope of attack.

This is a common political method...

But Victor glanced at Victor.

Dirty!

Truly too dirty!

"Are!"

Casare was bewildered, when had he gotten this nickname, but whatever the boss called him, it was just that. Even if he were called Jesus, he would change his father to Jehovah tomorrow.

"When I first met you, you were very innocent..."

Fat Casare almost blurted out that it was the boss who taught him well, wasn't it?

Thankfully, he braked at the throat just as he was about to speak, immediately changing his words, "In this tumultuous situation, I need to progress to help the boss."

!!!

Applause once more for Casare's wit.

Martin Bao Man, the confidential secretary sitting nearby, looked at him like he was watching a deity, thinking he should learn well.

"This matter must be controlled within a certain range, it cannot expand, but remember, do not provoke a rebellious mentality from those capitalists."

Casare shook his head with a smile, "Boss, don't worry, capital is very weak. Even if we bully our way to their door, if there's a way out for them, they won't fight to the death. If they resign themselves, leave them some shares; if not, we strike hard, and they won't be too united. If businesses could unite, the whole world would have been capitalist long ago."

There is some twisted logic in what he says.

Victor nodded, his gaze turning back to the window.

It's not that he doesn't want to give those capitalists a way out...

But he knows how bloody and dirty they are.

The bureaucratic capitalist group, centered in Washington, encompasses politicians, the Military Industrial Complex, and elite families. Through legislation, lobbying, and cronyism, they convert public resources into private profits. Annual military spending exceeds 800 billion dollars, and war becomes their tool for wealth accumulation. The ruins of Iraq and Afghanistan are piled with US dollars. The hereditary nature of power is becoming more apparent, with the Bush family and the Clinton family just the tip of the iceberg. They practice monopoly under the guise of "democracy," and the public's votes are merely a veil for their legitimacy.

Financial oligarchs, like Wall Street giants, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, etc., use capital as a blade to carve up global wealth. In the 2008 financial crisis, they created bubbles yet left taxpayers to shoulder the losses, privatizing profits while socializing risks. The Fed feeds them by printing trillions yearly, inflation squeezes the lower class, and stock and real estate market windfalls flow into their hands. Financial capital does not engage in production, solely in speculation, devouring the real economy entirely.

The two are tightly entwined, with bureaucrats paving the way for finance, and finance providing benefits to bureaucrats, jointly constructing an "iron curtain" for the "1%." The American Dream stops here, with the nation's fate resting in this group's hands. Whether they can escape corruption and shortsightedness determines whether its hegemony will collapse.

Now these companies are "forced" to enter Belize, they will surely use some unsavory means to win over politicians and public opinion, attempting to establish a "capitalist mini-state" here, thereby overthrowing the hard-fought country Victor established.

This must not be allowed!

Wasn't the Ming dynasty brought down by a group of Southern gentry interest groups led by Donglin? They could also be said to be early capitalists.

"Mexico cannot become an American-style Mexico."

He murmured to himself.

He has Golden Finger, but Golden Finger cannot change people's hearts.

The convoy drove to the foot of Tepeya Mountain.

As soon as it stopped, the Army Chief Siegmut List opened the door to welcome them.

"Supreme Leader."

Victor nodded and walked inside, with a group of people following closely behind.

"Any latest news from the front?

"Less than half an hour after Ojinaga was breached, the US Army 1st Cavalry Division's 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, nicknamed 'Gun Cavalry,' and the 5th Cavalry Regiment's 2nd Battalion, as well as the 8th Cavalry Regiment's 2nd Battalion, nicknamed 'Stallion,' with about 120 tanks and armored vehicles in total, headed south along New Mexico, attacking our positions on Highway 10 at Las Cruces, attempting to cut off the rear route of our two divisions of the 336th Army and swallow us whole."

In fact, Chihuahua State originally had more than just the 179th Army, there were also two divisions of the 336th Army. When the Mexican Army raided California, to extend the battle lines and achieve strategic objectives, the two divisions charged straight into the United States.

Now they want to cut off your tail route and eat your two divisions.

Victor snorted twice, "If Frederick Franks has that appetite, isn't he afraid of bursting himself?"

The group walked into the Department of Defense, taking the secure passageway down.

Below there is a hollowed-out project capable of withstanding nuclear and atomic bomb impacts. It has more than 40 interconnected rooms with no dead ends, very convenient for escape and shelter.

Belonging to Mexico's own 704?

You can see quite a few staff wearing rank insignias running back and forth.

Very few lieutenants are seen!

Entering the innermost "secret command room," you can see the dozens of large displays and the... technicians in operation.

You can see a lot of small red dots on the display screens. These are the current locations of the Mexican Army, which had satellites in the sky long ago, later Victor sent up two more, one being a weather satellite and the other a military auxiliary satellite, intending to have a positioning satellite in place within five years.

"Supreme Leader!"

Seeing Victor enter, a group stood up to greet him.

He waved his hand indicating no need for more formality, "How's it?"

Chief of Staff Horatio Herbert Kitchener had a somewhat tense expression but also seemed relieved, "The U.S. Military is indeed the U.S. Military. If Texas were still in their hands, and the three states plus support from the states behind, if the naval forces launched weapons, we would truly be in danger."
