Chapter 185: Memory Fluid

Ron lit the Magic Crystal Lamp in the workshop, its pale blue light dispelling the shadows of the night.

Lately, he has been focusing much of his attention on the "Sound Wave Vibration" magic he has long been researching.

This magic has been developed in the direction of "Erosion Chapter" through the ravings of the starry sky monster, "Zi...Kru...Niyage...Rotip...".

Yet, amidst constantly using this variant of the "Erosion Chapter," he can feel the ravings generated during meditation seem to be an extension of the monster's ravings...

His current research direction is to further expand the "Erosion Chapter" based on the ravings during meditation while combating it.

Making it able to directly affect the magic model without the aid of instruments, usable in sudden encounters.

He stood up and paced the room for a moment, trying to clear his thoughts.

"Teacher, dinner is ready." Lily's voice came from outside the door, interrupting his thoughts.

"I'll be there shortly." Ron rubbed his temples, turned around, and opened the door.

Lily stood at the door, wearing a pale blue apron, her hair carrying the scent of food.

She looked curiously at the exhausted Ron: "Studying that magic again?"

"Yes, it's still not going very well." Ron sighed and followed her towards the dining room.

In the dining room, Dale was already impatiently seated at the table, her big purple-blue eyes shining with anticipation.

Seeing Ron enter, she immediately jumped up:

"Master, I trained for five whole hours today without feeling tired! And the webbing between my fingers can retract completely now!"

She excitedly showed her little hands.

The membrane between her fingers was indeed gone, only a faint blue trace could be seen at her fingertips.

"Well done." Ron smiled and patted her silver hair, feeling a little more relaxed.

Ailan walked in from the courtyard, holding a plate of freshly picked berries.

Compared to her earlier tree spirit form, her appearance now barely revealed any non-human traits.

Only those emerald green eyes and the tendrils that occasionally stretched out from beneath her skirt in place of arms made her unusual.

"Tonight's berries were ripened with my own pollen, should taste better."

Ailan said softly, placing the plate on the table, then walked over to Dale, kindly tidying her somewhat disheveled hair.

Seeing this warm scene, the gloom and urgency in Ron's heart gradually lessened.

As they enjoyed dinner, Ron glanced at the six-string guitar that he had bought earlier and hung on the wall as decoration, and suddenly had a flash of inspiration.

Since the Erosion Chapter was played using an instrument, developing it further based on this method and constructing "Sound Wave Vibration" in magic construction as an instrument capable of producing sound...

Dale blinked:

"Is Master going to play music? I remember you seem to practice the violin often?"

"No, Dale."

Ron shook his head, eyes continuing to linger on the six-string guitar on the wall, a bold idea gradually forming in his mind.

"Perhaps I've found the breakthrough to improve the magic." His eyes sparkled with inspiration.

Lily followed his gaze to the six-string guitar: "Is it about the Erosion Chapter?"

"Exactly." Ron nodded, his thoughts increasingly clear:

"I have been trying to separate violin playing from magic model consideration, but if it can be constructed into the resonance structure of an instrument within the magic model..."

Ailan pondered: "You mean to make the magic model not just an energy structure but able to produce sounds?"

"Exactly!"

Ron's eyes sparkled with excitement: "Just like a soundbox, but not formed physically, constructed by spiritual power instead."

After hastily finishing dinner, he immediately returned to the laboratory.

Inside, Ron stood at the center, took a deep breath, raised his hands slightly, and started to channel spiritual power.

The magic model of "Sound Wave Vibration" slowly took shape before him, a complex structure woven from countless energy threads, with a gradient of blue-violet.

"If the magic model is constructed into the resonance structure of a violin..."

Ron closed his eyes, recalling the internal construction of a violin—soundbox, bridge, strings, soundboard...each part has its own vibrational traits.

His spiritual power began to reshape the magic model following this thought.

First forming a cavity structure similar to a soundbox, then four strings of different frequencies, along with carefully designed "bridges" and "soundboards"...

"The difficulty in forming this structure lies in..."

Sweat beaded on Ron's forehead: "Each part must possess specific energy density and vibrational traits."

After several attempts, the magic model finally presented a new form.

No longer just a mere energy assembly, but a miniature "mental instrument," its internal structure precisely mimicking the resonance principle of a violin.

"Now, try injecting the energy pattern of the ravings..."

Ron recalled the mysterious syllables heard in meditation, and melded their "tones" into the strings of the magic model.

With the infusion of spiritual power, those strings began vibrating at particular frequencies, producing a disturbing low raving sound.

"Zi...Kru...Niyage...Rotip..."

The sound does not transmit through physical media but directly forms on a spiritual level.
