Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 100: Revealed, Northern Lands in Turmoil!

Another three days passed.

The emissary dispatched by the Second Prince finally arrived at Frost Wolf Ridge.

This emissary came with the orders of the Second Prince and was inevitably arrogant.

"Duke Frost Wolf, His Majesty commands you to assemble your Knight Order within a week and follow the Duke of the Western Border's forces to attack the rebels in the Eastern Territory."

Divar delivered the Silver Moon King's instructions calmly, despite speaking to Duke Frost Wolf, as he was representing the King.

Moreover, he believed the Frost Wolf Clan lacked the ability to refuse.

"I have said before, I will remain neutral in this battle."

But David paid no mind to the emissary's threats and directly refused.

"You intend to defy the will of the Silver Moon King?"

Divar appeared somewhat surprised; he hadn't expected Duke Frost Wolf to refuse the Second Prince's order so directly. A glint of coldness appeared in his eyes.

"Lord Duke, this is not a request that can be easily ignored. The rebellion in the Eastern Territory has already threatened the stability of the kingdom; every noble has the obligation to participate in quelling the rebellion, and this is the result of discussions between the Silver Moon Kingdom and the Royal Capital Court."

The emissary continued to stress the seriousness of the situation and the responsibilities demanded, even implicitly threatening to position Frost Wolf Ridge against the entire kingdom.

However, David remained unmoved. He looked at the emissary and shook his head, saying, "I understand the crisis brought by the rebellion, but I have already made my choice. Frost Wolf Ridge will not partake in any conflict. We will protect our own territory and people instead of becoming tools in the struggle for royal power."

"Are you questioning His Majesty Bronco?"

Divar stepped forward, releasing the imposing aura of a Tier Four Earth Knight!

Bronco directly sent an Earth Knight to issue recruitment orders to the nobles of the Northern Silver Moon Kingdom, apparently forcing these nobles to make a decision.

But facing Divar's oppressive aura, David remained motionless, and a stronger aura appeared around him, forcefully suppressing Divar's!

Boom!

In an instant, the two auras collided.

In the next moment, Divar felt an overwhelming force he couldn't resist that shattered his aura entirely, forcing his body back!

"You!"

Divar widened his eyes slightly.

He knew Duke Frost Wolf was also an Earth Knight.

But he hadn't imagined that despite both being Earth Knights, the difference in power would be so vast, giving him the impression that the other wasn't an Earth Knight at all.

"Have you broken through to Tier Five?" he swallowed, uncertainly asked.

He naturally knew how difficult it was to liquefy Fighting Qi and thereby break through to Tier Five; there were many Earth Knights in the Royal Capital, but only in the families of major nobles could Tier Five Earth Knights be cultivated.

Yet, how old was Duke Frost Wolf now? Additionally, the Frost Wolf Clan had already declined, so he couldn't fathom the possibility of Duke Frost Wolf breaking through to Tier Five.

David didn't turn around but gathered Fighting Qi at his fingertip, pointing it at Divar's forehead with an aura almost substantial in force!

Divar instantly felt a sense of crisis and hurriedly activated his Fighting Qi to form a Fighting Spirit Shield in front of him.

Pop—

David's fingertip touched the Fighting Spirit Shield.

The Fighting Spirit Shield began to tremble incessantly, as though it might shatter at any moment!

"Tier Five Liquid Fighting Qi!"

"You really have broken through to Tier Five!"

Though he already had suspicions, facing Duke Frost Wolf's condensed Liquid Fighting Qi struck his mind heavily!

Tier Five!

Duke Frost Wolf was indeed a Tier Five Knight!

But how could this be possible, how did Duke Frost Wolf achieve this?

Could it be that Duke Frost Wolf's talent is even more terrifying than Silver Moon Star Reynolds's? After all, even Reynolds hadn't broken through to Tier Five!

"In that case, I can only report your decision truthfully to His Majesty. I hope you understand the potential consequences of your choice."

Divar knew this matter was beyond his decision and could only send the message back to the Royal Capital, letting His Majesty Bronco personally decide how to handle it.

After speaking, he turned without looking back and left.

David didn't stop him and waited for some time after Divar left, standing alone on the castle balcony, staring into the distant mountains.

What must come, will inevitably come.

Since it has come, he can only resolve it personally.

A hint of coldness gradually appeared in his eyes as his figure flashed and vanished.

...

After Divar left, he headed straight towards the Western Territory.

Frost Wolf Ridge was located in the northwest of the Northern Lands, not far from the Western Territory.

Yet, all along the way, Divar's mood was heavy. Upon reaching Beiyuan, he directly instructed the messenger to send the received news back to the Western Territory.

Once the news reached the hands of the Duke of the Western Border, it would naturally be sent to the Royal Capital and eventually to His Majesty Bronco.

Now, he only needed to wait for the news in Beiyuan City.

But he would never have imagined that death had already targeted him.

As Divar left the inn and headed towards the route of the Desolate Wolf Clan in Beiyuan City, a figure of extreme stature suddenly appeared.

This figure was clad from head to toe in chain armor forged from refined iron, concealing himself entirely except for exposing two eyes.

"Who are you?"

Just as Divar asked this, the figure charged forward.

The burly body stomped on the ground with each step, causing slight tremors as though a frenzied bull, charging forward!
