"Michel, direct Lady Baroness Crowley to the dining room," after a moment's thought, Alonso instructed the butler.

"As you command, Baron," Michel replied.

Soon, Lady Baroness Crowley, dressed as a noblewoman, entered the dining room. Her stunning beauty, towering figure, and pale skin immediately drew the attention of all three men.

Although all three were nobles, not lacking in women, they couldn't help but take an extra glance at a beautiful woman.

"Don't you know that Flashgold Town has just been attacked by cultists?" she blurted out.

"What!" Lloyd's face turned pale, and exchanging a glance with Perez, he quickly realized that Baron Alonso's early summons wasn't as simple as having breakfast together.

It seemed the rumors they had heard before were not without basis!

Alonso was taken aback?

What was going on?

A noble lady, accustomed to luxury, was surprisingly well-informed?

However, when he saw the looks that the two knights gave him, his heart sank.

Trouble was now inevitable.

"What? Lady Baroness Crowley, are you sure of your news?" Alonso feigned shock as he stood up.

"Of course, Jenny is currently in Flashgold Town," the Baroness said with certainty.

"Baron, please pardon our abrupt departure!"

Hearing Lady Baroness Crowley's confirmation, Lloyd did not wait for Alonso's response and turned to leave immediately.

This was somewhat impolite behavior among the nobility.

And the way the two knights had just looked at Alonso was obviously not right.
