Wizard: I Can Refine Everything

Chapter 89: The Subhuman Wizard's Great Success!

Noticing the change in the surrounding environment, Richard casually waved his hand, and a seal enveloped the "Miracle Witchcraft".

Stuffing the magic book into his pocket, Richard muttered to himself: "The Miracle Witchcraft is complete, and the Miracle Divine Skill has already begun.

The rest depends on those little guys."

After intentional nurturing by Richard, a Three Rings Wizard has appeared among the Subhuman Wizards.

But a Three Rings Wizard is not enough; Richard needs a World Guardian to prove the value of the Subhuman Wizards.

However, the Immortal Country has not been invaded, and the World Origin has no intention of producing a World Guardian.

Unless Richard kills the White Wolf God or massacres the werewolves.

Otherwise, creating a new World Guardian is indeed difficult.

However, after all, Richard is a wizard, and a wizard's greatest trait is quick thinking.

Although he can't rely on slaying the White Wolf God and massacring the werewolves to stimulate the world, it doesn't mean he can't use other methods to stimulate the World Origin.

Exiting the laboratory, Richard's figure flickered, and he arrived at a large subterranean base beneath the lab.

In this base, a massive teleportation gate had been completed. Next to it, a sporadically appearing and disappearing spatial vibration had persisted for years and recently reached its peak.

"Still not through?" Richard looked at the fluctuating space, frowning slightly.

"I've already removed the space anchor, and it's still this slow. Is the efficiency of the Abyss Net Path so low?"

By now, it had been nearly thirty years since Richard first traveled to the Abyss World. The trade path between the two civilizations should theoretically have been opened long ago.

Yet, out of personal interest, Richard deliberately added many space anchors at the predetermined position of the Abyss Net Path to delay the time for the path to open.

The Abyss Net Path is a massive stimulus to the world, and this stimulus is just right to utilize in creating a World Guardian.

If it arrived too early, the World Guardian would lean towards the werewolves. Without a Three Rings Subhuman Wizard, even if Richard removed all Third Level werewolves from the world, the World Origin would still choose to strengthen the White Wolf God rather than find a Second Level creature to forcefully elevate to a Fourth Level creature.

But now, Richard felt he might have overestimated the efficiency of these Abyss Demons to some extent.

Even if he hadn't placed the space anchors, these guys wouldn't have arrived much earlier.

However, in reality, Richard had wronged the Abyss Demons.

An order issued by the Dominator, no matter how cunning, the Abyss Demons wouldn't dare slack off.

The main reason for their slowness, apart from the actual distance, is the unique nature of the Immortal Continent.

While the Immortal Continent has become a part of the Immortal Country, it's not because the world doesn't want to devour it, but because it's truly unable to swallow it, forced into a compromise.

As the motherland of a powerful civilization that governs an entire world community, even as a fragment, its "tenacity" is still higher than that of a typical Great World.

If it were something like a Space Rift, it would be one thing, but establishing a special portal like the Abyss Net Path is dozens of times more difficult than a wizard's teleportation gate.

The Abyss Demons on the other side even believe that the other world must be the Wizard World.

Otherwise, there would be no reason for it to be this difficult.

...

"You bunch of swine! Move faster!"

In the Abyss World, the Demon Supervisor on the high platform waved a bone whip, constantly urging the demons below.

At his feet, tens of thousands of demons were maintaining a massive Abyss Array. At the center of the array, dozens of Abyss Space Worms, used to expand the Abyss Net Path, were constantly gnawing on the space.

Beside these worms, a pitch-black three-dimensional black hole continuously emitted spatial turbulence.

Suddenly, a vast shadow swept across the sky as a black Demon Dragon entered silently above the entrance of the net path.

Noticing the arrival of the Demon Dragon, the fierce Demon Supervisor immediately became obsequious.

"Lord Ista, what brings you here?"

The Demon Dragon Yista descended from the sky, continuously shrinking until it reached the size of a regular ox.

"Why is it not finished yet? Lord Richard has already contacted me."

Yista's voice was calm but carried an intimidating authority that chilled the spine. The Demon Supervisor couldn't discern whether Yista was truly furious or merely conducting routine business.

"My lord, we have maximized our efficiency. To improve further, we can only upgrade the array to generate more Abyss Space Worms."

"Upgrade the array?" Yista's vertical pupils slightly opened, "Isn't this array already the most efficient one?"

"You remember correctly, my lord."

Crack!

At the moment the Demon Supervisor spoke, Yista's dragon head suddenly expanded, biting him to pieces and swallowing him whole.

Beside the supervisor, the other Abyss Demons showed no reaction to this scene.

In the Abyss, it's quite normal for a Great Demon to devour a smaller demon.

"You, answer me," Yista's dragon head slightly moved, addressing another demon on the platform, "Why is it not finished yet?"

"L-Lord Ista, we lack resources."

This Abyss Demon was much smarter than his predecessor. He had already sensed Yista's dissatisfaction with the progress and needed a solid, implementable method to accelerate it.

"Resources? Very well, what resources do you need?"

Yista's dragon eyes quietly watched the demon, and no one knew if he would, at the next moment, swallow this demon as well.

Under this pressure, the demon quickly listed out his requirements.

"I need flesh, the flesh of the World Master, the higher level, the better, the more, the better. With this flesh, I can perform a blood sacrifice, allowing the Abyss Space Worm to devour faster."

"Blood sacrifice, very well." Yista withdrew his gaze, "From now on, you are the supervisor.

Your needs will be delivered soon, within a month, I want to see the Abyss Net Path opened."

The demon toppled over to reveal its belly.

"Yes, sir."

...

"Indeed, it seems it takes a push to speed things up."

In the underground base, Richard watched the increasingly active Abyss Net Path and smiled with satisfaction.

Beside him, the White Wolf God looked at the constantly trembling space, a sense of danger rising within him.

He could feel that once this space was opened, whatever lay behind was definitely not something he could handle.

Richard suddenly turned and asked, "White Wolf, have all the Third Level Werewolves been arranged?"

"They have been relocated. Now, there is not a single Third Level Werewolf in the Immortal World."

Richard nodded slightly and laughed aloud, "Very good, everything is prepared now. Whether my years of planning succeed depends on the result after the Net Path is opened."

As he spoke, a pressure emanated from Richard that even the White Wolf God, who had already reached the Fifth Level, found hair-raising.

On Richard, the White Wolf God seemed to see a towering giant Demon God.

"The master's power... is becoming more terrifying."

One month later.

Bang!

Thunder roared across the cloud-covered sky.

In the underground base, the turbulent space suddenly broke open, revealing a small hole. Immediately, a grim mouthpart emerged from behind the hole, beginning to gnaw at the space, enlarging the opening.

On the other side of the hole, the newly appointed demon supervisor looked at the opened Net Path and couldn't help but collapse to the ground.

Under the effect of the blood sacrifice, he finally opened the Net Path just in time for the deadline.

The Abyss Space Worm continuously consumed around the hole, expanding the originally minute opening. Each enlargement severely stimulated the World Origin.

The White Wolf God looked at the hole, feeling an impulse to interrupt it surge within.

It was the instinct of a World Guardian, and this spatial rift had already severely threatened the world's safety.

However, a massive pressure helped him control this impulse well.

Richard stood beside the White Wolf God, the pressure on him akin to a mountain, making the surrounding creatures almost unable to breathe.

Under his oppression, even if the White Wolf God wanted to move, he couldn't at this moment.

"Ulysses, has the lab reacted?"

"Not yet."

Richard's face was serious, and in front of him, the Abyss Net Path was nearing stability.

This node hasn't had a new World Guardian appear yet, could it be that the stimulus isn't enough for the World Origin?

"Seems I need to add some more spice."

Richard steeled his heart, suddenly bursting with strong Abyss power.

Under the influence of Abyssal power, the materials of the entire base began to be eroded by the Abyss, becoming part of the Abyss.

If the Abyss Net Path wasn't stimulating enough, then surely Abyss Erosion would be.

Under Richard's seemingly endless supply of Abyss power, the area of Abyss erosion quickly began expanding. Pollution spread from the underground base, reaching towards the outside world.

Under Abyssal erosion, purple veins grew in the steel plates, the land turned black, as if stained by blood.

Miniature Abyss Creatures producing Abyss Spores kept appearing, and the spores quickly spread pollution to the entire plain on the breeze.

The invasion of the Abyss was already unstoppable!

Crash!

A thunderclap rang out in the sky.

The World Origin finally responded to the Abyss Erosion.

On the original site of the Supreme Sect, a Three Rings Subhuman Wizard suddenly froze in place.

His consciousness entered an indescribable space at that moment, where a great presence questioned him.

"Do you wish to protect your homeland?"

"I... I do."

With the falling of these words, the Wizard reached an agreement with the World Origin.

Before the shocked gaze of the Subhuman Wizards, the Power of World Origin emerged from the Void, continuously pouring into their companion's body.

In just a moment, the Subhuman Wizard infused with this power broke through mortal limits and reached the domain of the World Master.

A shadow flew out from the Void, Ulysses looked at the continually strengthening Subhuman Wizard under the infusion of Origin Power, muttering to himself:

"Richard, you've succeeded!"
