Wizard: I Can Refine Everything

Chapter 5: Time to Fight

Richard looked in the direction of Samuel, his expression becoming extremely solemn.

The last time he met Samuel, he was merely a Five Rings Great Wizard, so his understanding of Samuel's power was only superficial.

Now that he had become a Dominator, he truly realized the terror of this Abyss Dominator.

This Demon could simply be the embodiment of the concept of battle.

He now somewhat doubted how Beelzebub could be mentioned alongside Samuel as Abyss Dominators.

Given the sense of danger Samuel currently imparted to Richard, even if Beelzebub could wield the Abyssal Spell, he would likely not be a match for Samuel.

"My King, this guy... is very dangerous."

Talal Peak came to Richard's side, his expression equally grave.

As a Dominator who had experienced the Predecessor Civilization Alliance, his experiences were naturally vast. Even within that alliance, Samuel was a standout.

Richard glanced at Talal Peak and calmly smiled: "If even you say he's dangerous, then this Dominator must truly be perilous."

The Vortex Dimension Gate gradually disappeared, and Samuel fully entered the Abyss World.

He glanced around briefly and then immediately locked his gaze onto the World Tree.

Even though Richard and Talal Peak had completely concealed their presence, Samuel's instincts detected them both.

He looked at the World Tree and let out a bold, strange laugh. The laughter seemed like a devil finding a cherished toy, or perhaps a martial artist discovering a good opponent.

"Hahahahaha, you truly didn't disappoint me!"

As he spoke, his figure suddenly vanished. When he reappeared, he was in front of Richard.

"Little one, long time no see."

Richard looked at Samuel, his spiritual power now sufficient to sustain a direct gaze with Samuel.

Samuel's face was ordinary, looking somewhat like an exaggerated goat. But while gazing at this face, Richard could clearly feel his spirit being corroded.

A wave of emotion named fear spread within his heart.

Richard slightly bowed: "Indeed, it has been a long time, Dominator Samuel."

As he bowed, Talal Peak beside him also bowed — he was not one to stubbornly adhere to norms, giving respect to a currently powerful entity was nothing to be ashamed of.

Samuel took a deep breath, then said with some intoxication: "Indeed, the Creator is worthy of being called the Creator. The ultimate Bloodline they've created is truly deserving of the Creator's name."

Samuel was a very focused Abyss Demon on Physique Evolution, this focus had caused him much hardship in his growth, but it also achieved his present self.

He needed no other means, just by breathing, he discerned the extraordinariness of the Abyss Titan Bloodline from the nearly negligible pheromones in the air.

After indulging, he shifted his gaze to Talal Peak, then to Richard.

He had more discerning eyes than Beelzebub.

Though the marks of time on Talal Peak were striking, Samuel's intuition told him that Richard was the strongest one.

"Little one, let's have a match."

Samuel's voice carried a trace of greed, as if a glutton sneaking a taste of an unfinished cake.

"Have a match?"

Richard's expression froze somewhat.

Samuel was not like Beelzebub; Samuel didn't practice the Abyssal Spell, he only fought using the Power of Abyss and pure physical strength.

Even with the highest authority in the Abyss, it was impossible to prevent Samuel from using the Power of Abyss.

"Yes, have a match."

Samuel spread his arms, and countless blasphemous runes appeared on his body.

As an Abyss Dominator, Richard could tell that these Abyssal Runes were not blessings, but seals.

Samuel also knew that Richard had absolutely no chance of withstanding his full force, so he planned to seal himself and then battle Richard.

Talal Peak's expression was tense, energy coursing within him, and the Life Field around him became fluid.

But Richard held him back.

"Dominator Samuel, why would you carry shackles and have an unsatisfying battle with me?" Richard smiled, "On the frontlines of the Wizard Civilization, you can find better opponents than me."

"Better opponents?"

Samuel stopped the sealing, his dark red eyes suddenly looking at Richard, inexplicably filled with anger.

"You have no idea what you're saying!" he roared almost furiously, "The Bloodline you bear is a masterpiece of the Titan!

In this World Community, your Bloodline is the finest!

And you are my best opponent!"

Samuel's roar carried his mask of fear, as if a ferocious Magic Beast had charged into Richard's soul.

If an ordinary Dominator were subjected to such a Spiritual Attack, they would likely be rendered disoriented, spiritless.

But Richard remained exceptionally calm.

His body trembled slightly, a reflex triggered by the invasion of fear into his soul.

However, Richard's expression didn't change in the slightest.

As a Wizard, rationality was his foundation.

This level of fear, even if it invaded his soul, was insufficient to drag him into terror.

"I certainly know that my Bloodline is the masterpiece of the Titan, but compared to my Bloodline, I think you'd be more interested in the existence that led to the Titan's extinction..."

Before Richard's words had finished, a terrifying pressure bore down on him like a mountain.

The seals on Samuel shattered with a bang at this moment, releasing the full might of the Breaking Limit Sovereign's physique evolution without reservation.

"The entity responsible for the extinction of Titans? Are you referring to the mastermind in the Furnace Man's prophecy?"

Though Samuel is a sovereign entity of physique evolution, he handles matters of the previous civilization differently than Beelzebub.

Beelzebub is not interested in the ruins of the previous civilization unless they involve knowledge about life forms. In contrast, Samuel is deeply passionate about exploring those ruins, accepting whatever they might be.

He is also aware of the Furnace Man's prophecy.

"Yes, he is the reason I came this time."

Samuel looked at Richard, and his overwhelming presence suddenly withdrew, transforming the demon's aura from frenzy to tranquility.

Wrath is Samuel's instinct, but for a being of physique evolution, the fundamental skill is controlling that instinct.

"Explain carefully."

Richard paused for a moment, completely banishing the fear from his soul, and then recounted the story of the Civilization Devourer.

Upon hearing it, Samuel fell into a sudden silence. Or rather, a semblance of silence.

Both Richard and Talal Peak could feel the subtle energy wave emanating from Samuel.

For a Breaking Limit Sovereign, such disruptions are impossible unless Samuel's spirit is extremely excited.

So excited that his body seemed to be slightly uncontrolled.

"Well, well, this era is indeed too wonderful!" Samuel suddenly spoke.

"In this era, not only can I face the marvelous creations of Titans, but I can even confront many Titans and the mastermind behind their extinction.

This era is truly beautiful!"

While speaking, Abyssal Spell appeared on Samuel once again.

He looked at Richard, with a broad smile: "Kid, you're quite capable. But before signing that contract, you'll have to fight me once.

Once the contract is signed, who knows when we can fight again; perhaps by the time the war ends, I might even be dead."

Once the Destiny Contract is signed, he and Richard will be allies, unable to battle.

While the contract doesn't prohibit sparring, such fights lack thrill.

Seeing Samuel in this manner, Richard knew he couldn't avoid this fight.

However, it's beneficial, as battling a Breaking Limit Sovereign with physique evolution will significantly enhance his physique—though the downside is, he might actually get killed.

Without a word, a Dimension Gate opened before Richard.

As Richard was about to step into the Endless Dimension, Talal Peak suddenly spoke: "Sovereign Samuel, can I also join this battle?"

Samuel was taken aback by the words, then laughed heartily: "Of course."

Though Talal Peak isn't as delectable as Richard, he is still a fine delicacy. Samuel, a glutton, naturally welcomed additional dishes.

Arriving at the Endless Dimension.

Richard and Talal Peak unfolded their true bodies, transforming into immense beings over a hundred thousand meters tall.

Thunder and Flames entwined around them, while pulsating energy streams formed glowing patterns on their surfaces, akin to ancient deities from myths splitting chaos.

Samuel followed closely behind.

The moment he appeared, Richard and Talal Peak immediately attacked, regardless of whether Samuel had released his true body.

Fighting a strong opponent like Samuel must never adhere to martial virtue.

Richard's body radiated with runes resembling stars, and the nearly endless energy within intertwined and merged under the influence of runes, finally forming a point.

A pitch-black singularity!

Beside him, Talal Peak's life field flowed perpetually, resembling an Eye of the Storm.

This new body lacked combat instinct but possessed endless energy. Techniques previously limited by conditions, now he can realize them.

"Killing Fist, Destruction!"

Talal Peak's voice roared like thunder, with endless energy coursing through his cells, eventually forming a deep fist light.

Within this fist light, an aura of destruction circulates endlessly, even causing the void to tremble.

Buzz!

Immense yet intangible, grand yet mute.

When the two attacks powerful enough to obliterate a world struck, the commotion remained tranquil.

Like stones cast into a lake, only ripples spread, and the sound reduced to a tiny buzz.

At the collision's core, the pitch-black singularity and the destructive fist light transformed into a black hole, completely enveloping Samuel's body.

All energy, light, and even spiritual power were absorbed by the black hole.

Even employing the Eye of Truth, Richard couldn't perceive what transpired within.

Only gravitational ripples capable of tearing an ordinary sovereign's body emerged from within.

Suddenly, the black hole began to collapse, revealing Samuel's figure.

At this moment, Samuel appeared somewhat in tatters; his body was stripped of flesh, leaving only a complex, pitch-black skeleton.

Yet his aura was not diminished in the slightest.

His voice remained bold.

"Good, good, I truly did not misjudge you!

Come, continue! Let me witness how strong Titans can really be!"
