Wizard: Adventures in Two Worlds

Chapter 217: 105 Invisibility Cloak and Love Story (Please Favorite)_2

He now had immunity to low-level toxins and low-level Illusion Techniques, along with the ability to eliminate abnormal states and sense danger, among many other enhanced traits.

His spiritual power had also increased significantly.

And this is merely with 1% progression in Bloodline Power. If I could fully merge with the Bloodline, the increase in strength would be even more terrifying. I might even acquire complete immunity to toxins and illusions, fear no abnormal states, just like legendary Abyss Creatures, and ignore all lower witchcraft.

"Power!"

Carl clenched his fists.

The Abyss Giant Squid first increases strength during its initial growth phase, then spiritual power. It's the same for me. My strength has continued to increase over the past month. If I can maintain this, and have the flesh of a few Legendary Creatures to devour and refine, it's not impossible to enhance my Constitution to level five within a few years.

In a few years, I'll barely be past thirty. A peak Perfection Great Knight at thirty—such a feat would be extremely rare, even for the descendants of royal Dukes.

"Carl!" Captain Conni of the Breakwind called out from a distance, "Did you take care of the wolves?"

"Yes."

Carl nodded, "It took some time."

Conni gave a wry smile. "I was about to ask a few more people for help. I never expected... you could handle it alone. Even Hawke, the God of the Sea, might not have been able to do it."

He had hurriedly called for help, but before he could gather everyone, he heard that the trouble had already been resolved. Naturally, he was very surprised.

"The strength of the wolf pack isn't actually that great. The troublesome part is the corrosive mist emanating from them," Carl said. "I just happen to have some methods to withstand it."

If I hadn't merged with the Abyss Bloodline, solving this would indeed have been difficult, but now it's different. The Abyss Bloodline can counter the corrosive aura.

"Yes," Conni nodded and explained, "At the time of the fall of Chronos, the Death God, His power scattered across the earth, awakening many undead from beneath the ground. This forest is one of those places."

He turned, gazing into the dense woods.

"The Power of Death not only awakened the undead but also endowed them with the power to corrode all living beings. Even a Great Knight's Battle Aura can't withstand it; thankfully, you have a way to deal with them."

"Death God..." Carl murmured, a look of realization dawning on him. No wonder those corrupted giant wolves were half-alive and half-dead. He then curiously asked, "This world is losing the protection of the Divine, various anomalies are rampant, and the living space for the Human Clan is shrinking. What do you think the future holds?"

Conni fell silent.

Doomed! Not just the Human Clan. From the information I've gathered from exploring many ruins, this world will eventually come to an end.

"According to the information I've researched, the Moon Goddess hasn't truly fallen," Conni said slowly. "There is still hope."

"Perhaps," Carl shrugged. "I have other matters to attend to, so I must go now."

"Uh..." Conni opened his mouth. Seeing Carl stride away, he shook his head helplessly. "Disappearing again," he muttered. "What is he always so busy with?"

"Conni!" A figure leaped from a distance, appearing nearby in a few blinks, and scanned the surroundings. "Resolved?"

"It's settled," Conni nodded. "Carl resolved it alone."

"TSK, TSK..." Hunter shook his head, clicking his tongue. "No wonder the President said that Great Knight Carl is very strong. To take on a wolf pack by himself is truly remarkable."

He then wondered aloud, "Why is he so strong?"

Hunter was a member of the Sea God Society and had been a Great Knight for over a decade, with a similarly renowned reputation. Yet, he dared not face the wolves here alone. Carl had advanced to Great Knight only a few years ago, yet his strength was so terrifying; naturally, Hunter's curiosity was piqued.

"I've seen Carl in action."

As Conni walked, he explained, "His strength is similar to yours and mine, but the Breathing Technique he practices is of a higher tier. It's probably the Giant Spirit Breathing Technique, given by a Divine to its Guardians for cultivation, which significantly increases his size and strength when he uses his Secret Skills."

Hunter nodded.

I've seen the enlarged Carl too, but he wasn't *that* formidable then.

"Besides that..." Conni stroked his chin, "Carl is also a rare possessor of multiple Dharma Seals; he has at least three types on him. And they might all be top-tier Dharma Seals! One is Earth Shattering, another can slow and weaken approaching attacks, and one can control the flow of water. Having three top-tier Dharma Seals, along with the weapons in his hands, is the fundamental reason Carl is so powerful."

He didn't know that Carl also possessed witchcraft, so he could only attribute those mysterious methods to the Dharma Seals. In a way, he wasn't far off.

"Three top-tier Dharma Seals!"

Hunter grinned, "No wonder."

"I heard he's collecting Great Divine Grace. Could it be he's trying to trade for another top-tier Dharma Seal from the Duke's envoy?"

He's already so formidable. If he acquired another top-tier Dharma Seal, even President Hawke might not be his match.

"Likely so," Conni nodded. "But Carl said that due to the turmoil in Freedom Port, he couldn't bring out the Great Divine Grace he had."

"Such a pity!" Hunter exclaimed. He then nodded, remembered something, and said, "It is quite a pity. On another note, Flame Island has driven our people out."

"Oh?" Conni raised his eyebrows.

Flame Island was located not far from the coastline. It was also a crucial chokepoint they had to pass when sailing to sea from their newly chosen departure point. If they couldn't persuade the people on the island, future sea voyages would be fraught with anxiety.

"I know the Island Master," Conni said. "I'll go and try."

After this verification, when my Bloodline Power is stimulated, I can contend with top-tier Magic Creatures. That means I'm no weaker than a peak Great Knight. But I wonder, if augmented with witchcraft, could I defeat a Legendary Creature alone?

Stroking his chin, Carl gently shook his head.
