Though Levi pretended like he didn't hear a single thing the maids had said, the truth is he had heard every single thing they had said. That explains why his father sent for him since early in the morning. Everette ran away.

Levi couldn't deny that he felt really happy for Everette, he has never been happier to hear that. He has never been able to make a new life for Everette no matter how much he tried, he had never seen a reason why his family maltreated the poor boy, he never liked it but he was forced to watch it happen.

Levi came to a stop in front of his father's study looking at the door. He couldn't imagine how furious his father is.

He sighed then knocked on the door.

" it's me father ".

" come in Levi ". A voice from the other side of the door said.

Levi pushed the door open walking inside seeing his father leaned back on his chair with his eyes closed massaging his templates.

He walks towards him then comes to a stop in front of the table.

" Dad, you sent for me ". Levi said getting his father's attention.

John let out a short breathe then opened his eyes looking at his son.

" what's wrong father? ". Levi asked acting oblivious of what he already knows.

" Everette ran away ".

" what?! ".

Levi did not really did not feel threatened about Everette running away instead he just felt worried about his whereabouts and his welfare, he had always been worried about him, he was just too scared to show it, but his father in the other hand looked like everything is leaving his grasp, he looked so angry and frustrated.

" What are your plans father? ". Levi asked breaking the silence between them and snapping his father out of his lines of thoughts.

John sighed. " I have already hired our personal private investigators to look for him, they'll find him in no time and bring him back ".

" hmm! ". Levi hummed nodding. He knew exactly why his father wants Everette back so bad, if not for that one reason, he would probably thrown him out himself.

John sighed then sat up.

" I'm not in the mood to go to the office today, you do it, I would have told Chance but he'll be busy with his own business ".

" okay I'll do it, I guess I'll take my leave now ".

" okay Levi, go ".

Levi nodded then turned and left the study closing the door shut. He then pulled out his phone dialing a number.

" yes, mister Levi ". The male voice at the other end of the line said.

" My father ordered you and your partner to look for my brother right? ".

" yes sir ".

" if you get any information about his whereabouts or his welfare, report back to me personally before going to my father, do you get that? ".

" but mis-".

" just do it, you'll get double of whatever my father is paying you".

" okay sir ".

Levi cut the call then then sighed before heading back to his room.
