Everyone was caught off guard by He Chun Hua's words, including Lin Fan.

He thought that there would be some kind of recognition between He Chun Hua and Huang Xie because of the title that bonded them.

She didn't seem to think much of Huang Xie, or it was better to say that she was confident in her own power. Though that meant that she was looking down on Huang Xie too much.

There was a reason why Huang Xie had the title of Heaven's Chosen in the first place.

He Chun Hua just knew too little about the Love Sect to begin with even if she had been told a few things.

Huang Xie had an awkward look on his face after being challenged like this.

It didn't seem like he was going to rise to being challenge like this and instead turned to look at Lin Fan as if he was asking, "Master, what is going on here?"

Lin Fan just gave him a look back saying, "I don't know."

He seriously didn't expect things to develop like this, so it would be impossible for him to say that he knew what was happening.

Seeing that Huang Xie wasn't saying anything in response, He Chun Hua narrowed her eyes to look at Huang Xie before saying in a taunting voice, "Are you scared?"

There was a bitter smile that appeared on Huang Xie's face when he heard this.

He wasn't actually threatened or angered when he saw He Chun Hua taunting him like this. Since she was still a child, he treated it as the naughtiness that a child should have when she taunted him.

He didn't seem like he wanted to take her seriously at all.

This wasn't something that was missed by He Chun Hua.

When she saw the way that Huang Xie treated her, there was a part of her that was angered by this. After all, she didn't want to ever be looked down on by anyone ever again.

So she was annoyed when she saw Huang Xie looking at her like this.

That made a rush of heat enter her head, but He Chun Hua also knew that there was nothing that she could say to make Huang Xie annoyed. Or at least she knew that it would be impossible to say anything to him.

But it was different to the people around him.

She couldn't say anything about Lin Fan since he was the one that she wanted as her master as well, but that didn't mean that she couldn't say anything about the people that were with Huang Xie.

Since they came together, they must mean something to him.

The one that her eyes went to first was Zhao Ling Jun.

The way that she looked at Huang Xie and the way that she was postured, He Chun Hua could tell with her female instincts the feelings that she had for Huang Xie. The fact that Huang Xie let her follow him around meant that he wasn't averse to these feelings.

"It seems like only cowards would hang out with cowards. Do you dare to fight in his place?" He Chun Hua taunted Zhao Ling Jun in Huang Xie's place.

Zhao Ling Jun gave a better reaction than Huang Xie did, but she didn't say anything in the end since Huang Xie had raised a hand to stop her.

She looked at him with a touched look, as if she was happy that he was standing up for her. But in reality, Huang Xie was just stopping her because he didn't think that there was a need for this.

The fact that his master had brought this girl here meant that she was someone that he had recruited for the Love Sect.

Since they would all be members of the same sect, it was better if they didn't fight at all.

Seeing that he still didn't react, He Chun Hua turned her attention to Xiao Ming.

She hadn't tried anything with Xiao Ming since she could sense the danger that came from her. It was different from Huang Xie who seemed tame and wouldn't harm her, so she didn't want to do anything to Xiao Ming.

But now that she was pushed to this extent…

"Do you dare fight for him then? Or are you a coward just like him?"

To He Chun Hua's surprise, the one that reacted was not the one that she expected to react.

Xiao Ming just treated He Chun Hua like a child with the way that she looked at her. Rather, it was Huang Xie who suddenly knitted his brows after hearing what He Chun Hua said about Xiao Ming.

It was as if he had taken personal offense at what she said, even though he hadn't reacted when she had insulted him.

Seeing this reaction from him, He Chun Hua continued, "It seems like you're someone who can only rely on a man, aren't you? You're too scared to fight?"

Xiao Ming shook her head with a faint smile.

It was as if she was amused seeing He Chun Hua like this.

That was because part of He Chun Hua reminded her of how she used to act when she first came to the Love Sect. It was the way that she acted because she didn't want anyone to look down on her.

But now that she had been in the Love Sect for a while, she had mellowed out and treated everyone more gently.

She had stepped into the role of the senior sister of the Love Sect.

But it wasn't the same for Huang Xie.

When he heard Xiao Ming, his dear senior sister being mocked like this, he couldn't help losing control of his temper. Even if the insults weren't that good, he still couldn't stand her being insulted at all.

After that, Huang Xie turned to look at Lin Fan as if he was asking for permission.

Lin Fan shook his head with a sigh before waving his hand and saying, "Make sure that you don't hurt yourselves. This is just a friendly spar, so don't take it too far."

"Of course." Huang Xie said, but the look in his eyes seemed to be saying something different.

He Chun Hua just gave a simple nod, but it seemed like she had other ideas as well.

With permission given, everyone quickly convened at the training area.

It didn't take long for the news that Huang Xie was dueling with the new disciple to spread around the sect. It seemed like there were people that were even willing to bet on this as there were several groups of disciples exchanging money with each other.

Though what was more concerning was how there were elders that were making bets as well.

This was something that Lin Fan had noticed before, but it seemed like the elders liked to have fun as much as the disciples.

It had reached a point where it might be a problem if he didn't do anything about them.

At least they had the awareness to hold themselves back for now, but if this continued…

Once they were both prepared, the fight began.

Though the duel began, it didn't seem like Huang Xie was planning on making a move as he just stood there. He looked like he was just waiting for He Chun Hua to make the first move with the way that he stood there.

But in He Chun Hua's eyes, it seemed like he was looking down on her.

That actually made her gather even more power in her arms as she positioned herself as if she was about to punch Huang Xie. While she was in this position, there was this white light that appeared around her arms that seemed to be the power of her physique gathering.

However, even though he could see that she was gathering her power, Huang Xie didn't seem worried about her blow at all.

He Chun Hua was annoyed even more when she saw this, so when she stepped forward to attack Huang Xie…
