However, last night's events weighed heavily on his mind. Seeking distraction, he pulled out the book from his inventory: "A Certain Miss Vanessa, the Pregnant Villainous Princess."
As he read, the shocking tale unfolded.
Chapter 1-The Tragic Tale of Princess Veronika.
Princess Veronika was the sole daughter of King Alexandros, ruler of Aristrocity. From a young age, she was groomed to embody grace and strength befitting her royal bloodline. Yet her life took a dramatic turn at the age of seven.
On a seemingly ordinary day, Veronika, filled with childlike curiosity, ventured out of the palace gardens and became lost in the nearby forest. The kingdom descended into chaos as the king commanded an exhaustive search for his missing daughter. For two days, there was no trace of her. When she finally returned, unharmed, she claimed that a "prince" had saved her from a wolf in the forest.
In truth, this "prince" was a young man training in isolation. He had sheltered her for a day, promising to guide her home after completing his training. Though only a fleeting encounter, Veronika was smitten, imagining him as her knight in shining armor.
Years later, at fifteen, Veronika encountered him again during her way to the Noblesse academy. Without hesitation, she declared her love before a crowd, offering him everything—even her kingdom.
But he rejected her saying that if he fell in love with her one day then he will surely come.
Enraged and humiliated, Veronika spiraled into despair. That night, fueled by alcohol and heartbreak, she sought solace in the arms of a blind servant—Shinji. Driven by a mix of revenge and desperation, she seduced him, determined to make that men who reject her regret.
Chapter 2- The Aftermath

The blind man, along with all the servants accompanying them, fought valiantly but ultimately fell in the battle, sacrificing their lives to protect Princess Veronica. In the chaos and devastation, Veronica was the sole survivor.
As she stood amidst the carnage, a figure emerged from the shadows—the prince of the Moniyan Empire, the very man she had rejected as a child. He saved her from the bandits, ensuring her safety, though his intentions seemed shrouded in mystery.
Haunted by the events, Veronica left her past behind and moved forward to the academy.
But after a few months, she noticed peculiar changes in her body. Realizing she was pregnant, she decided to leave the academy and return home to rest.
The thought of terminating the pregnancy crossed her mind, but she remembered the blind man who had given his life to protect her. His sacrifice lingered in her heart, compelling her to carry the child.
But Fearful of the repercussions, she initially considered keeping the truth hidden. However, as her condition became impossible to conceal, she decided to confront her father.
Summoning her resolve, Veronica approached her father with the news. Gritting her teeth, she confessed.
"Father," she said, trembling, "I am a Carrying child."
King Alexandros was furious. "Who is the father? Who has brought this shame upon our name's?"
Veronika hesitated. "Do you remember the day I was kidnapped? The bandits… they violated me," she lied.
The king, devastated, accepted her explanation without question. He swear to eradicate all known bandit groups, believing it a matter of honor to avenge his daughter.
Looking at his daughter, the king's expression softened as he crouched down, tears welling in his eyes. Reaching out with trembling hands, he asked in a voice laden with grief, "Why didn't you tell me sooner, my dear?" His voice cracked as he began to cry, his regal composure breaking under the weight of her words.
Veronica, her hands clenched tightly, looked away but spoke with quiet determination. "I didn't want to worry you, Father. But this child... this child is not at fault. I want to conceive it." Her voice was steady, though her eyes glistened with unshed tears.
As time pass rumors spread, Veronika became a symbol of strength and sacrifice. However, her fame came at a cost. The prince that saved her that day saw her as a slut, accusing her of using the kidnapping as an excuse to hide her infidelity.
Chapter 3- The foul play.
The prince who had saved her that day, the revelation struck differently. His anger burned with unbridled fury as he slammed his fist on the table. "That woman dares to carry another man's child while rejecting me?" he fumed." Who is the bastard responsible?"
One of his advisors, trembling but composed enough to answer, replied cautiously, "Your Highness, none of the men we hired to kidnapped her that day reported any such incident. In fact, they swear they never laid a finger on the princess. If anything, she might be using this as a cover to conceal something... from her past."
The prince's expression darkened as his fury reached its peak. "Enough! Draft a war notice immediately. I want that treacherous woman brought to her knees and that illegitimate brat eliminated." His voice was cold and unyielding, his words spelling doom for anyone standing in his path.
Aristrocity, unprepared for such an attack, fell into chaos. Veronika, now a mother, was forced to flee with her infant daughter. Under her father's command, she went into hiding while the kingdom burned.
