Wings of Fire in MHA

As he lands another heavy blow AFO smiled seeing how weak All Might had become, even with an arm ripped off his regeneration was able to keep him in the fight, "What a disgrace, the mighty Symbol of Peace." he sneered as All Might struggled to stand up, now in his smaller form as the fight had pushed him well beyond his limits, "Look at how pathetic you are, nothing like your beloved teacher, though you'll die just the same." he smirked as Toshinori rushed him in his muscle form again "KEEP HER NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!" he roared as they went back at it again.Seeing Toshinori in his weakened form, many people were shocked, heroes and villains alike, they never thought that All Might could look so . . . weak.

Seeing All Might get hit again Carter steps in and throws AFO to the side with his tail, "I wonder how long your regeneration will last." he mused as All Might got up "Stay out of this young Carter, I should be the one to finish him." he says grimly as he slowly buffs up again and marches towards the levitating AFO. Seeing his unwavering spirit AFO felt a modicum of respect for him as they clashed again, with shockwaves throwing idiotic news helicopters around forcing Carter to help them. "Even your teacher couldn't beat me, what makes you think you have a chance?" he asked but All Might just swung again "DETROIT SMASH!" he yelled as AFO went flying into the air, before he could stabilize himself Carter appeared and making a fist with his massive claws punching him back down where All Might was waiting with a Carolina Smash!

As AFO picks himself he sneers seeing Toshinori stagger towards him, "It seems that you have already passed on your power, the flame of One for All has left you, and soon the embers that remain will as well." he mocks as Toshinori glares at him "Its all I need to defeat you." he says surging his power but instead of buffing up, he collapses to one knee spitting up blood. Seeing this AFO laughs "Looks like the end came sooner than I thought, before you go do tell me who your little successor is, let me guess . . . the little Midoriya boy?" he says as Carter lands next to Toshinori and peers down at him.

"You'd better not die Toshi, Cathleen wants to see you again, something about you owing her a beer?" he says making Toshinori laugh, "Your just like her, always making jokes at the worst times." he says as he finally stands up, channeling his power he tries to go into his muscle form but all he can manage is his right arm. Seeing this AFO laughs and mocks him while putting several quirks into his remaining arm, both are going to finish this with one last blow.

As they charge for the final time, time seems to slow down. Around the world people watch as the Symbol of Peace fights the Symbol of Evil one last time. Izuku and the people of Japan cheer on All Might, governments around the world pray for his success, on the other side Tomura and what's left of the League can't tear their eyes away from the screen in Dr.Garaki's lab, villains around the world cheer All for One on, ready for the chance to rise up and spread chaos. At the center of it all Carter calmly watches sending a command so his system 'Can you record this?' [Already ahead of you] it tells him as their fists connect. "UNITED STATE OF SMASH!!"

BOOM

Dust goes flying, shockwaves and air pressure level another couple of blocks as AFO and OFA clash head on. Annoyed at the dust Carter flaps his wings and the dust clears with a whoosh, people around the world cheer, he won, the symbol of peace won! Standing in a crater several meters deep, next to the battered body of his ultimate enemy with his fist raised in the air, is Toshinori Yagi, All Might. Walking over Carter gently scoops him out of the crater, "Not bad, for a human." he says as he places Toshinori on the side, unconscious before turning to the other body in the crater, "You can stop pretending now." he says unamused as AFO slowly gets up coughing up blood. Seeing him get up people begin to feel despair, if All Might couldn't stop him, who could? they think as AFO finishes throwing up blood.

Looking up at Carter AFO frowns, "Are you just going to stand there?" he asks trying to activate his quirk but nothing happens, he's all burnt out. Seeing him still standing Carter smiles, showing all his teeth, reaching in he grabs AFO and slams him on the ground a few meters opposite of Toshinori. As AFO slowly and painfully gets back up Carter slowly transforms back into his human form for the first time in days, no claws, no scales, no wings or a tail, just a plain old human. Looking at the nearest news camera up in the sky Carter looks at it dead center and smiles, "Hello world, my name is Darkstalker. Before me is a fool who thought he could mess with me and those close to me, I'm going to show you why that's a very bad idea." he says as he extends his hand and his sword comes flying through the air, "I enchant this blade to keep whomever its stabbed into alive and in a perpetual state of pain unless I say otherwise." he says before walking over to AFO who in finally on his feet, he swings but Carter dodges and with a swift movement stabs the blade through his chest watching it burst out the other side before raising the blade over his head and stabbing it into the ground.

"W-why? We could have dominated this world." AFO asks if he coughs up more blood. "To send a message." Carter says coldly as he punches him in the face before grabbing the hilt of the sword again. "I enchant this hilt to make a 6 meter zone around the blade where nothing can pass through without my express permission, not by land, sea, sky or any other method." he says letting go, placing his hands behind his back and facing the camera up in the sky again. "I don't mind playing hero, but if pushed I don't mind getting my hands dirty, learn from this." he finishes pointing at AFO's broken body before going over to Toshinori and picking him up, letting his wings out he spreads them wide and takes off to the nearest hospital as the world stares in shock at the destruction left behind.

DR.GARAKI'S LAB-

Staring in shock at the screen, Tomura is unable to think of anything as his world starts to crumble around him. Stain equally shocked turn to the Doctor who has a few tears in his eyes, "What now?" he asks as Tomura and the rest of the League turn to the Doc, "For now we rest, then we go into hiding, maybe another country." he says finally as he herds them away from the TV before turning to it and bowing, one last show of respect for the friend he has know from the last few decades.

HPSC HQ-

As people stare in shock at the screen, President Pantu sighs 'It wasn't supposed to be like this.' she thinks before she gets right back to work. Now that All Might is gone, villains are going to get restless and the heroes need to be ready. As for Carter, the eggheads would have to come up with something because as of right now, she was just as lost as the rest of them.

GENERAL POV-

As the world reeled from the shock of the massive battle that went down, the world realized several things. Carter should never be messed with, though after seeing his power many already thought of ways to try and get it, most would fail and die. There was also now another 'Hero' that could rival a nuclear bomb, and this one appears to be a lot more volatile than Star, several countries were already thinking of various countermeasures and way to maybe bribe him to their side, a few countries looked into his background but after what he just pulled the US is more defensive than ever shielding everything from prying eyes, both domestic and international.

For Izuku and his classmates, they feel relieved that AFO has been defeated and Katsumi rescued, as they get her up to date in the hospital where Gran Torino took her they also feel a bit of fear, as the power that Carter used to take down AFO could just as easily be turned against them. Upon waking up and hearing about everything that happened after she was kidnapped, Katsumi was quite livid that she had missed such a big fight and as she watched a replay that the lucky news crew had taken, she felt a spark of happiness 'he cares about me' she thinks. In another hospital room Carter keeps watch as dozens of medical professionals work of Toshinori trying to keep him stable and fix him, as they work Carter keeps any and all people away, chasing off government agents, press and even an idiotic villain who though he could try his luck, he ended up burnt to a crisp though which kept everyone else away for the rest of the time he was there.

Eventually Aizawa and a few other heroes arrived, riding his shoulder Nezu jumped down and bowed to Carter surprising him, "Thank you for saving All Might, and for stopping All for One." he says as Carter nods his head "I did what I had to." he says as Nezu hops on his shoulder, seeing Endeavor there Carter raises an eyebrow, he says nothing though as Nezu and him start talking. "Soon the next semester will begin, due to repeated attacks on students, dorms will be constructed on campus, will you be staying?" Nezu asks and Carter nods, 'Give me a few minutes of sleep.' he thinks as Nezu asks a few more questions before getting serious. 

"After tonight's battle, the HPSC will be trying to find a new Symbol, they may reach out to you." he says and Carter shrugs, "They can ask, but I'll keep saying no, besides, why would I be a Symbol of a bygone era, the age of All Might is over." he says as Nezu nods and sighs "Indeed . . . the age of All Might is over."
