Chapter 114 - II
After Xie Zuo finished speaking in one breath, he felt much more relaxed. He bent down and pinched Wu Xiao’s face. “You can think more about it. Huo Yao is going to take a bath in the underground palace, and I also need to take the little snake for a bath. You have already died once. Let’s not talk about your previous mistakes. If you dare to do anything wrong in the future, I will deal with you personally!”
Wu Xiao was still in a daze. Seeing this, Xie Zuo knew he needed time to digest it, so he asked Huo Yao to go with him.
Huo Yao said, “Wu Xiao and I still have a few words to talk about. You go first.”
“Okay,” Xie Zuo replied, taking the little snake out of the door first and closing the door behind them thoughtfully.
As soon as Xie Zuo left, Wu Xiao immediately stood up and faced Huo Yao with his head held high. “What are you doing, Huo Er? Don’t think that you and Heavenly Father have known each other for a long time and want to overpower me. Let me tell you, I won’t let you do this.”
Huo Yao also approached him. The two were almost the same height and body shape, but their temperaments were completely different. One was cold and restrained, the other wanton and wild.
Huo Yao actually smiled. “I just want to remind you that if you want to stay in this family, you have to recognize my seniority.”
“What?!”
“Call me father, and you can stay.”
.
Xie Zuo took the little snake to the underground river and carefully washed away the dirt on its body. The little snake became clean again.
The little snake laid comfortably on its back in the water, with the tip of its tail resting on one of Xie Zuo’s arms. “Daddy, rub it again.”
Xie Zuo looked at the coquettish little snake and was filled with love. He gently massaged its belly with his fingertips. “Are you comfortable?”
“Comfortable, very comfortable!” the little snake said happily.
The little snake was so lively and cute. Xie Zuo thought of his second child, who was still sleeping in his demon core, and couldn’t help but sigh. He didn’t know when it would truly wake up.
The little snake was thoughtful and immediately asked, “Daddy, what’s bothering you?”
“No, no,” Xie Zuo replied, then asked, “Did you communicate with your brother when you were in the eggshell? What was his temper like, and what did he like?”
The little snake immediately became unhappy. “Are you going to take your second son back and live together? You’re not going to abandon me again when he comes, right?”
“Absolutely not!” Xie Zuo swore quickly. “You are Daddy’s most beloved baby. Daddy will never make that kind of mistake again.”
“Huh, I’m the eldest baby, and you have a second baby, and maybe a third baby and a fourth baby!” The little snake got angry, turned over, and swam to the side, not allowing Xie Zuo to touch its belly again.
Xie Zuo didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Why did these complaining words sound so familiar to him?
“Good boy, come to Daddy,” Xie Zuo coaxed. “I know you are taking care of your brother. It is thanks to you that he is safe and sound. Daddy knows that you have done a lot.”
The little snake slowly swam over again. “Then don’t bring the second child over for now. Let me enjoy the happiness of an only child and I will forgive you.”
Xie Zuo secretly rejoiced that the little snake didn’t know that the second child was always with him and hurriedly said, “Okay, I promise you, I will pick it up when you say.”
“That’s it.” The little snake turned over on its belly again and laid down. “Let’s rub it some more.”
Xie Zuo served his great son wholeheartedly, and Huo Yao finally came over.
Seeing Huo Yao’s bruised nose and swollen face, Xie Zuo was extremely shocked. “What’s going on? No, you guys are fighting again?”
As soon as he finished speaking, a small black and purple octopus quickly jumped into the water with eight legs. “I want to take a bath together too. You can’t leave me alone anymore!”
Huo Yao slowly immersed himself in the water and said to Xie Zuo, “It’s okay. He is must worse than me, so he doesn’t dare to see you in human form.”
Xie Zuo was speechless. Was this a question of who was more miserable than whom?
‘Look at your age! Yet, you still fight like children. How embarrassing.’
The little snake looked at the “tidy” family and was very happy. It had just listened to Xie Zuo and Wu Xiao’s explanation, and it was a little confused. It happened that the adults were there, so it could ask carefully. “Daddy, are you actually my father’s father? Can I also call you Grandpa?”
Xie Zuo stumbled and almost fell down, but Huo Yao caught him and pulled him into his arms.
The little snake came over and asked Huo Yao, “Father, father, if you are also my Daddy’s son, can I call you second brother? Then isn’t my uncle my eldest brother?”
What a mess. Xie Zuo glanced at Huo Yao feebly. “Explain it!”
Wu Xiao made a gloating laugh in the corner.
Huo Yao was also a little worried. He was telling the little snake the ins and outs of these things in detail when a rush of footsteps came and stopped ten feet away from the underground river. “Report to the king, we have caught a spy from the demon world!”
