Dan Dan is not singular, but plural.

Moreover, they are not made of iron or any type of metal.

Apart from these two items, the remaining objects were all crafted by Dan Dan.

"I come from the Primordial era, as do you, so have you really not seen me?" Dan Dan asked Li again.

No writings, no memories, even ones like Li from Primordial couldn't recall any events from that time.

However, halfway through, Dan Dan suddenly stopped and then malfunctioned as it slowly descended, finally floating at about a finger's height from the ground.
