"I have no problem with that, but the arena is currently in use. I'm afraid there's no suitable venue," Li Xiu pondered aloud.

"No need to go to the arena; we can go to Black Death City," Li Qingyi suggested.

"I would love to, but getting a ticket depends on luck," Li Xiu said, looking at Li Qingyi.

Li Xiu had no choice but to follow her to the Trial Gate. Li Xiu took out the Black Apatite, intending to open the Hero's Trial Gate, but was stopped by Li Qingyi.

Li Qingyi took out a Trial Badge and embedded it onto the door, then watched as a light pattern appeared on the door, slowly opening it.

"The rich surely are willful. Clearly, you can open the door with gemstones, yet you insist on using a Trial Badge," Li Xiu remarked as the door opened, preparing to walk inside, only to be stopped by Li Qingyi.

Uncertain of Li Qingyi's intentions, Li Xiu paused and watched her.

Li Qingyi looked at the door, and shortly after, the door closed again. She took out another Trial Badge and embedded it on the door once more.

The door opened, yet Li Qingyi still showed no intention of entering.

After repeating this six times, when the door opened on the sixth attempt, Li Qingyi finally began to walk inside.

Li Xiu felt a surge of excitement because he had figured out what Li Qingyi was doing and had a guess.

His memory and observational skills were strong. While the average person might not notice anything, Li Xiu discovered that the light pattern on the door each of the first five times Li Qingyi embedded the Trial Badge was slightly different than the sixth time.

The dense light patterns resembled maze maps with slight variations that most people couldn't notice.

If not for Li Qingyi performing this action, Li Xiu would not have noticed; however, now he saw the key.

"If my guess is correct, when such different light patterns appear, the reward should include a ticket," Li Xiu speculated to himself.

Indeed, after passing through the Dark Maze, among the rewards, a ticket appeared.

"Let's go in," Li Qingyi selected the ticket from the rewards and turned to Li Xiu to suggest they proceed.

"Um...I don't have a Trial Badge," Li Xiu said, spreading his hands.

"Seriously? You, a City Lord, don't even have a Trial Badge?" Li Qingyi looked at Li Xiu in surprise.

"That's right," said Li Xiu, finding nothing embarrassing about it.

He had invested what limited resources he had into the demon spirits, not having the surplus to buy Trial Badges.

Li Qingyi had no choice but to provide another Trial Badge for Li Xiu. After graciously accepting it, the two entered the vortex formed by the ticket.

It was the first time Li Qingyi arrived at the stone table, where a contract appeared, another Dark Mirror.

Li Qingyi casually picked up the Dark Mirror, and after establishing a contract, the two entered Black Death City with the Longevity Lamp.

"You know this place better than I do. Where do you think is more suitable for their duel?" Li Qingyi asked.

"In the canyon outside," Li Xiu pondered before responding.

Though they could also fight within the city, too many mysterious elements existed there, and their battle might trigger something unfavorable.

After clearing the Black Death City from within, the two opened the city gates and arrived at the canyon.

"Wait a moment," Li Xiu summoned his Jedi Knight to clear the canyon of Mechanical Skeletons.

"These Mechanical Skeletons are quite peculiar; the liquid in their metal injectors is something particular," Li Qingyi remarked.

"That liquid can convert other beings into metal. Once completely transformed, they really become dead objects," Li Xiu explained.
