What the hell is making games in the Ninja World?

Chapter 31: Chapter 25 : Live-Streaming!!

The 'battle' of Uchiha Akira had come to an end.

The trial version did not have infinite respawns; it only had five lives.

Once all five lives were used up, the trial would be over.

As his consciousness returned to the real world, Uchiha Akira still felt like he was in a dream, struggling to process everything. The mental shock from multiple deaths left his mind disoriented.

His body twitched uncontrollably, and his Sharingan was still active, unable to close. Even now, the tomoe in his Sharingan continued to spin relentlessly.

The several Uchiha who had been watching and whose consciousness also returned to reality quickly refocused their attention on Uchiha Akira.

Upon seeing the state of Akira's Sharingan, the elder, Uchiha Setsuna, immediately activated his own Sharingan and locked his gaze on Akira.

After a moment, a look of uncontrollable joy spread across Uchiha Setsuna's old face. He couldn't help but burst out laughing.

"Hahahaha~ Good! Very good! Extremely good! Hahahaha~~~"

The sudden burst of laughter caught the attention of the other Uchiha, who hadn't yet figured out what was going on or couldn't discern any changes in Uchiha Akira. They all turned to look at him in confusion.

Uchiha Fugaku couldn't help but ask, "Elder, what's going on? Was the Genjutsu game really that effective?"

Uchiha Setsuna shook his head and then nodded. With everyone staring at him in even more confusion, he spoke in a deep voice.

"The Genjutsu game was beyond imagination. The incredibly realistic experience inside it is an invaluable treasure for our Uchiha clan."

"Now, the changes in Akira's eyes are the perfect demonstration of this. Everyone, starting today, our Uchiha clan has gained another member with the highest-level Three Tomoe Sharingan."

The others froze for a moment after hearing this. Then, they quickly looked back at Uchiha Akira and saw that in his Three Tomoe Sharingan, the three tomoe were now clearly connected by a black 'pupil ring.'

This level of clarity was a defining trait of the highest-tier Three Tomoe Sharingan!

Within the Uchiha clan, there were clear distinctions in the strength of the Three Tomoe Sharingan. The most apparent difference was the 'pupil ring' that connected the three tomoe.

The most basic Three Tomoe Sharingan could barely show the three tomoe, and the 'pupil ring' was barely visible, appearing only as faint lines.

A more advanced Three Tomoe Sharingan would have the faint lines clearly connected, though they would still be very thin and hard to spot without careful observation.

When reaching the pinnacle of the Three Tomoe Sharingan, one can clearly see the 'ring of the eye.'

For example, Uchiha Fugaku and his father, Uchiha Seijiro, possessed this top-tier Sharingan. Among the entire Uchiha clan, only three had this ability.

But now, there was another—Uchiha Akira.

It's important to note that Uchiha Akira's bloodline purity wasn't particularly strong. In fact, due to his bloodline's lack of purity, Uchiha Akira had unlocked the Three Tomoe Sharingan over twenty years ago, but had been stuck at the intermediate level, unable to progress.

However, today, after simply 'testing' a genjutsu game, his Three Tomoe Sharingan evolved beyond the limitations of his bloodline, evolving into the highest level of Sharingan. It was safe to say that he had undeniably unlocked a cheat.

The most crucial thing was that this cheat was now in the hands of an Uchiha!

In an instant, all the Uchihas turned to look at the calm and composed Uchiha Kai. But Kai as someone who was so familiar with the Uchiha clan's circumstances, had long anticipated such an outcome.

He was even thinking that the Mangekyō Sharingan wasn't something every Uchiha could awaken. Without the right talent or qualifications, no matter how great the stimulus, it would only slightly strengthen the Sharingan.

Those with the right talent and qualifications, like Uchiha Obito, could directly activate the Mangekyō Sharingan and even the powerful Kamui Mangekyō, an ability that defied the heavens and was a clear example of divine favoritism.

However, in the eyes of the Uchiha clan, Uchiha Kai's calmness and composure at that moment were seen as signs of immense confidence.

It was as if he could face the collapse of Mount Fuji without changing his expression, as if everything was under his control, beyond the mundane world, and so on.

As for why there were so many different descriptions, it was because each of the dozen or so Uchihas present had a different train of thought when they looked at Uchiha Kai.

But in general, everyone thought Uchiha Kai was incredibly cool, exceptionally dignified.

There was no way around it—facing a true genius who could break through the norms and use genjutsu to help his clan's Sharingan evolve, how could anyone not hold such a person in the highest regard?

It's worth noting that the Uchiha clan had tried to stimulate their kin's inner thoughts through genjutsu to awaken or advance their Sharingan, but all their previous attempts had failed.

Because of the nature of genjutsu, unless one reaches the level of the Mangekyō Sharingan, and even then, it must be a Mangekyō ability specifically focused on genjutsu like Tsukuyomi, the genjutsu created will always carry a sense of falseness.

Overall, this feeling is similar to that of a dream, making everything seem blurry and unreal, leaving the person with a sensation of being out of control over their own body.

This "falseness" is simply not strong enough to stimulate the Uchiha clan to awaken or advance their Sharingan.

For example, the future Uchiha Itachi uses genjutsu to stimulate his foolish younger brother, but what he's actually using is the power of his Mangekyō Sharingan.

Even so, Uchiha Sasuke openly showed the world what he meant by, "You can stimulate me all you want, but if my eyes evolve, I'll consider it a loss."

This is the true portrayal of the Uchiha clan's reliance on genjutsu to stimulate their Sharingan. To get the Uchiha clan's eyes to change, one must find a real-world stimulus.

This is usually pain and suffering, which is why the Uchiha, as a clan born from love, often struggle with psychological issues.

However, now things are different. The genjutsu game created by Uchiha Kai focuses on one thing—realism—and the various twisted schemes within it are something the Uchihas have never encountered before.

With such a secret technique in hand, who would worry about Uchiha clan members facing problems with their Sharingan in the future?

Anyone who wishes to awaken their Sharingan, anyone who wants to evolve their eyes, just needs to step into the genjutsu game and lie down for a bit.

Of course, this genjutsu game isn't all-powerful. At least the "Return Home" game, from the perspective of Uchiha Setsuna and Uchiha Seijiro, while highly stimulating, isn't enough to open the Mangekyō Sharingan.

However, this genjutsu game has great development potential. It all depends on whether Uchiha Kai can take it a step further.

Later, when Uchiha Akira regained his senses and realized his Sharingan had evolved further, he was overjoyed, his face alight with ecstatic delight.

Although he was brutally defeated in the game, the rewards in the real world were immense. This made him feel compelled to express his gratitude to Uchiha Kai, and he made it clear that in the future, if Uchiha Kai needed anything, all he had to do was ask.

Uchiha Akira would not hesitate to dive into danger without a second thought.

This attitude was no different from offering a blood oath of loyalty.

If it were any other clan in this situation, figures like the clan leader or elders would likely feel threatened by Uchiha Kai's actions. They might think he was causing trouble and see him as a major threat to their authority and power.

But...

This was the Uchiha clan!

In this case, Uchiha Setsuna and the others could only feel relief and joy. Uchiha Fugaku was also delighted and filled with pride—his 'friend' had finally risen to greatness!

To be honest, the clan atmosphere here was truly excellent. It was incredibly united. If it weren't for the future events involving "Shisui's tears" and "self-destruction by the cunning Itachi," even if there were internal differences, it wouldn't escalate to the point where preparations for a coup were made with drawn swords among them.

Of course, Uchiha Kai wasn't thinking too much about these things at the moment. While the other Uchiha were immersed in joy and anticipation for the future, he was also happy, but for a different reason.

What made him happy was his own progress. On the system panel, the task to collect emotional points had advanced by a significant margin.

And it wasn't just Uchiha Akira, the player, who provided emotional points. The spectators from the Uchiha clan also contributed emotional points, although not as much as Uchiha Akira had.

The numbers were relatively low—Uchiha Setsuna, for example, contributed 22 emotional points. Compared to the 600+ points provided by Uchiha Akira, the difference was clear.

Uchiha Kai had spent some time studying the system, and eventually, he discovered that the emotional value provided by the viewers followed a fixed set of rules. The number absorbed by the system was the actual emotional value produced by the viewers, divided by a factor of ten.

For example, Uchiha Setsuna, who provided 22 points of emotional value, represented his experience watching Uchiha Akira play the game from a god's perspective.

He produced 220 points of emotional value, but the system only absorbed one-tenth of that, which was 22 points.

A 10% absorption rate.

This ratio made Uchiha Kai's eyes widen, and he couldn't help but exclaim how absurd it was— it was just too high.

After all, these were viewers, not the players themselves!

Everyone in the live-streaming industry knows how it works. At the moment, Uchiha Kai was just doing basic development based on the Genjutsu game, only able to bring a few people in to 'watch.'

But what if he continued to develop on this foundation of the Genjutsu game, allowing more people to watch the live stream?

What if the range of live-stream viewing expanded to the entire Konoha, or even the whole Land of Fire?

By then, the emotional value output would no longer be something that just one player could compare to.

With this thought, Uchiha Kai understood that the live-streaming system had to be implemented—and it needed to be done in a big way!

Thus, in his future game expansion plan, Uchiha Kai added the 'live-streaming development' project, making it the top priority.
