WHAT! I Have To Kill Heaven's Son To Live!

Chapter 225: She's So Shy… But So Adorable!

'I guess I'll have to use the Nine Yang Sword Technique to clear this smoke,' Reon thought inwardly, tightening his grip on the hilt of his sword.

But before he could move—

"Master, leave it to me," Cloudia's soft voice echoed beside him.

Reon paused, then gave a small nod.

"…Alright."

Cloudia lifted her hand with elegant grace, her fingers glowing with misty energy as she whispered:

"Phantom Mist Severance!"

WHOOOSH!

A sudden burst of energy surged outward.

The dense, blinding smoke dissolved instantly, vanishing into thin air as if it had never existed.

Reon blinked, stunned.

'Incredible… Is this another offensive technique from... her Mist Cloud Fox Bloodline?'

But even after the mist cleared, Meng Sing was nowhere in sight.

'Looks like he managed to escape…'

Yet—Cloudia's eyes narrowed.

She raised her hand once more, this time pointing toward the sky, and spoke calmly:

"Sky Cleaver Slash!"

SWOOSH!

A brilliant slash, cloaked in swirling Mist Aura, soared into the sky like a divine blade seeking its target.

'…What?!'

Meng Sing, mid-leap and already far above the trees, turned his head just in time to see it coming.

His eyes widened in sheer horror.

But he had no time to react.

"AGHHHHHHHHHH!"

A blood-curdling scream tore from his throat as the strike split him cleanly in half.

THUD!

THUD!

His body, now in halves, dropped unceremoniously to the ground in different directions.

The illusion of his stealth shattered completely.

Reon stood stunned.

'She saw through his stealth… even though that was at least a Unique-Grade Stealth Technique, and I couldn't sense a thing… just how powerful has she become?'

Cloudia turned and leapt into his arms, hugging him tightly.

"Master, I did it. I killed him," she said with a bright, proud smile.

Reon gently embraced her, smiling. "Yes, Cloudia. You did wonderfully."

Then, looking at her curiously, he asked, "But… how did you detect him? That stealth was no ordinary trick."

She giggled softly.

"After stepping into the Demonic Elite Realm, my sense of smell has become incredibly refined."

"While I was fighting him earlier, I locked onto his scent. No matter where he ran or how well he hid, I could still follow it."

Reon stared at her, visibly impressed.

"Amazing," he said, gently patting her head. "Truly incredible, Cloudia—you've grown far more than I ever could have imagined."

"Hehe~"

Cloudia looked up into his eyes, mischief and affection twinkling within her cyan gaze.

"Now that the boring stuff is over," she said playfully, putting her arms behind his back, "kiss me, Master."

Reon chuckled, exhaling with a soft smile.

"Hm… of course. How could I possibly say no?"

Reon gently placed his left hand on Cloudia's waist and his right hand on her head.

Then, without another word, he leaned in.

Smooch!

Their lips met in a tender yet passionate kiss.

'Mhm… Master's lips… so warm… it's been so long…' Cloudia thought as she melted into the kiss.

Their tongues intertwined, swirling and dancing together in perfect harmony.

"Mmmf~"

"Mmhffhh~"

The moment stretched on and on, as if time itself had paused just for them.

After what felt like a single minute—but was, in reality, half an hour—they finally parted, a thin, glistening strand of saliva still linking their lips.

Cloudia's cheeks were flushed, her eyes sparkling with joy.

"Hehe~ I got my reward from Master," she said sweetly, her voice full of excitement.

Reon chuckled, brushing a strand of hair from her cheek.

"Cloudia, you know… you don't have to think of it as a reward. We're lovers now. If you ever want this—just say it. And also… why won't you call me by my name?"

"Nope, I like it this way... because I want to be of use to Master. But if Master ever needs me to accompany him, I'll always be ready. And... I'm truly happy to call you Master," Cloudia said with a gentle smile.

"Sigh... alright. But at least call me Brother Taiyang," Reon replied.

"Nope… nope. I want to always call you Master because you're the most respected and loving person in the entire world to me. And it brings me happiness too." Cloudia said, happily shaking her head.

"Then… at least when we're alone? Please? I want to hear it from your lips," Reon asked softly.

Cloudia fell silent, looking down for a moment.

Her ears twitched shyly.

Then, in a small, whispering voice, she replied—

"…A-Alright… B-B-Brother T-Taiyang…"

Reon lit up with joy, eyes wide and bright.

"Ahh~ Cloudia finally called me 'Brother'! I'm so happy!"

Whoosh!

Flustered beyond measure, Cloudia's face turned crimson, and she instantly vanished—hiding herself inside the Inner Beast Domain.

Reon chuckled, shaking his head fondly.

'She's so shy… but so adorable.'

He then collected Meng Sing's Spatial Ring along with the two severed parts of his body.

As for Shen Zhi, there wasn't even a trace of him left—not even his Spatial Ring could be found.

Finally, Reon turned his attention to Min Xhen, who lay sprawled and bloodied, still unconscious.

'Good thing he's knocked out. Otherwise, he might have noticed Cloudia's Nine-Tailed Fox Bloodline human form… that could've been troublesome,' Reon thought quietly.

Reaching into his Spatial Ring, Reon withdrew a Mid-Tier Grade-2 Healing Pill and fed it to Min Xhen.

'This will help you recover soon…'

Without another word, Reon retrieved a Purple Crystal from his own Spatial Ring and placed it beside Min Xhen.

Then, he took the Peak-Stage Foundation Realm Purple Crystal from Min Xhen's possessions.

Reon spoke, his tone calm but firm:

"Sorry, I don't have time to wait for you to regain consciousness and have an honorable duel. I have more important things to do."

"But be grateful—I saved your life, and even gave you a healing pill."

Without waiting for a response, Reon infused Spiritual Qi into his legs and took off running.

As he disappeared into the distance, Min Xhen slowly opened his eyes.

He gazed at the aftermath of the battle—two massive craters, scorched earth, deep gouges carved into the earth by savage slashes, hundreds of shattered trees, and burning ash still lingering in the air.

'Oh my God… What a terrifying being that was!'

'Who was that stunningly breathtaking girl?'

'Why was she with Xue Taiyang…? Why were... they kissing?'

'What is their relationship—lovers?'

'Damn it... Why him? Of all people, why did she choose him?'

Tears welled up in his eyes.

'Such a strong... beautiful woman by his side… Damn it, I'm so freaking jealous.'

He wiped away the tears with a bitter smile.

'Still… he saved me. From now on, I'll consider him Big Brother.'
