Shin's eyes barely opened.

His body was battered and broken, chained to a steel chair in a cold, windowless room. The scent of iron and death filled the air.

Across from him sat The Mastermind—a ghost of a man, dressed in a pristine black suit.

His voice was calm, methodical, and soulless.

"You don't understand the war, Shin."

Shin gritted his teeth, blood dripping from his lips. "I understand enough. You're monsters."

The Mastermind chuckled, sliding a blue file onto the table.

The Blue File.

The most dangerous document in the world.

Shin's breath hitched. He could barely read the words written on the cover.

"The Truth of the War: Project Purge."

The Mastermind leaned forward, his expression devoid of emotion.

He flipped open the file.

Ryan and Mei launched their suicidal rescue mission.

With only a handful of survivors, they raided the Dominion airbase, hijacking a warship mid-flight.

Shin, half-conscious, was dragged into the escape ship as alarms blared.

Then—the tragedy.

Eran, their most skilled pilot, was hit.

Blood sprayed across the cockpit.

Ryan screamed. "ERAN! HOLD ON!"

Eran coughed, blood spilling from his mouth. "Get out of here."

"No! We can save you!" Mei sobbed, gripping his hand.

Eran smiled. A smile filled with regret, sorrow… and peace.

"Protect each other. That's all that matters."

Then, he grabbed the ship's throttle and slammed it into the Dominion fleet.

BOOM.

Shin, Mei, and Ryan barely escaped as fire consumed Eran's body.

The ship exploded into a thousand pieces, lighting up the sky like a funeral pyre.

Mei collapsed, screaming his name.

Ryan punched the steel walls, blood dripping from his fists.

And Shin… he sat in silence.

His body shook, his soul shattered.

Eran was gone.

Shin tightened his gloves. "This war won't end with diplomacy."

Ryan smirked, loading his rifle. "It ends with blood."

Shin looked at his friends. His family. The last hope of humanity.

"We fight, not for victory, but for revenge."
