Chapter 366: Lucius Draconus
In the middle of what seemed like an endless blue ocean, a gigantic island, large enough to be considered even as a continent was slowly floating in an aimless direction.
Snow-clad mountains, coniferous kissed hills, glacier-fed rivers, lush green conical trees, colorful tulip gardens, and sparkling lakes.
If seen from the skies, the island appears gorgeous as if the god decided to shift heaven to the material world.
The mountain range was located at the edge of the island in a circle, which act as the barrier for the marine disasters and attack of the wild aquatic beasts.
Streams and rivers flow down from all the mountains, making a large lake in the center of the island around which beautiful towns and cities were being built, largely resembling the human architecture that was found elsewhere on the outside.
Various types of dragons were normally seen flying above the forests, lakes, and hills.
At the same time, humanoid dragons were seen busily roaming in the towns and cities while the members of the dragon race who failed to become one and remain as humans were seen working in the farms, fisheries, constructions, mines, or servants to nobles.
Unless one was born as nobility, these failed dragons were practically seen as slaves to the upper class of the society.
With the Dragon King ruling the kingdom with an iron fist like a tyrant, their situation only got worse over time.
The nobles with dozens of acres of farming land forcefully make these humans work as farmers. Those who had mines make them miners. In one sentence, the life of these humans/failed dragons depends on the mood of the upper-class dragons.
Imperial palace;
A well-built old man is sitting on top of the throne in an audience-filled courtroom.
Amid the gazes of everyone, four scouting captains were standing before the king to report their findings.
His usual calm eyes now appeared fierce, indicating that he's angry at something or someone. His hands were tightly grabbing the handle while one of his legs was shaking uncontrollably, indicating that he's getting impatient.
After the four of them finished with their reports, the Dragon King stood up abruptly while exploding in anger, "What about Iphi? Why isn't there any news of her in your reports?"
"We are still searching for her, Your majesty." One of the captains took courage and replied to him. However, the angered Dragon King wasn't in a mood to hear the word 'No'.
As he raised his index finger, a fire beam suddenly shot towards the scout captain and turned him into ash, instantly. "It's been two weeks, since her disappearance."
"Father, my imprint on her soul hasn't disappeared yet. She isn't awakened. So, it's impossible for her to fly on her own towards the endless ocean. I think she was likely been abducted." Iphi's father, the crown prince, Reuben Draconus expressed his suspicions.
Unlike his father, he was a lot of calm.
"Who would dare to abduct my granddaughter?" The Dragon King, Owen roared in a rage. "Reuben, announce the news to the citizens. I will reward handsomely to those who find the whereabouts of Iphi and I will forgive those who will return Iphi safe and sound within a day.
Once the time limit is finished, send a warning that the culprit should hide himself very well. Once I found who is behind this, I will put him and his entire family to death whether they are young, elder, baby, or female…"
After announcing his decision, Owen stormed out of the palace before started to fly towards the mountain caves to find some peace.

"Ugh…" Wil grabbed his head feeling as if a needle pierced his head while waking up.
Following the series of notifications, Wil's vision was restored and he found himself lying on a wooden bed with no mattress on it.
He looked around. The room was quite simple. There's one bed, one small desk with a couple of books on it. Other than that, the room is completely empty.
"Open, Map"
After confirming his current location and his destination, Wil proceeded to click on the notifications and open the details of the quests.

Closing down the notification panel, Wil stepped down from the bed to walk through the door. There, he saw a teenage boy seems to be looking after a sleeping little kid in the living room while studying a book.
He inspected both of them. First, at the teenage boy, and then, at the kid.

"Direct descendant and a mythic-grade beast? Now, this is a surprise." Wil felt like he encountered a rare treasure. A look of greed appeared on his face but soon, he controlled his expression and cleared his throat. "Excuse me."
"Mister, you have woken up." Lucius immediately stood up and greeted him with a smile.
*Mister* Wil felt like an invisible arrow struck his chest. He was offended a bit as they were only a few years apart. At the same time, he regretted changing his appearance over for nothing.
Forcing himself to calm down, he thanked him and then, asked about what happened.
Lucius replied politely, "My father said he caught mister in the net while he was fishing in the lake."
Looking at Wil's Angelic wings, Lucius wondered whether he was from the clan of Eucliffe where the white dragons were born.
As for their different shape from the dragon wings, mutations are common everywhere in this world. So, as a commoner without much knowledge, he didn't feel strange about it.
Upon hearing his words, Wil fell into deep thoughts.
"Hmm, it's strange that I was drowned and ended up unconscious when I teleported to this world. Why? Even if I accept the fact that people end up inside the lake, still, it doesn't make any sense as bubble skill will nullify all the water pressure and I was unconscious for twenty minutes."
Wil wondered there's something that he doesn't know yet. After completing the quest, he decided to find his answers.
Coming back to reality, Wil then looked at Lucius and said, "thank you for saving my life. I want to repay the kindness of your family. I will grant you a wish. Ask it and I will fulfill it at all cost whether it's wealth, power, or revenge, anything that you want."
"Anything?" Lucius's face suddenly turned hopeful.
Wil nodded in response with a smile, "anything."
"Then, can you save my mother?" The young boy looked at Wil with a pleading look on his face.
*Ding!*
A familiar notification bell rang in his ears.
