"It did catch me by surprise, son. I wasn't expecting that much released power. You're definitely well beyond anything I've heard of." Yang Kai said, coughing a few times.
Using the access energy around us I healed Yang Kai's injuries and gave him a little boost on top of it. I can't have been too far behind in realm advancement after all. "That should be enough for you to recover… Hmm, that was way easier than I expected it to be." I said, noting the ease of which I healed Yang Kai.
Yang Kai looked down and noticed the body of the Ink Giant Spirit God was more rapidly being consumed, broken down and converted. "It doesn't look like there is much longer before you're finished with that fat piece of meat." He said.
"You're right. And it's perfect timing too. Since it seems like the rest of the Universe Columns have arrived." I smirked, satisfied by the state of affairs. "You should go check on Wu Kuang. He seems to be struggling to advance." I added, as the several low ranking elders began appearing with their special deliveries.
"I see, whatever it is you're planning, it'll take your full focus, right?" Yang Kai asked, receiving a confirming nod. "Alright then, son. Be careful I'll go help Wu Kuang out, he is integral to this plan after all." He added flying off through a portal of his own creation.
My eyes bulged a moment when I saw Yang Kai use a gate so easily in this space. "I know he's my father and all, and that I just healed his injuries but to pull that off in this much of a turbulently churning space… I was right in my past life, the proof is here. A true master of the Dao of Space will never falter simply from the presence of a higher power. The difference would have to be utterly overwhelming." I murmured aloud, long enough that my guests managed to hear a few words.
"Greetings Sir, the last I heard of you, you were the Young Master of High Heaven Cave Heaven and a Great Emperor. Now you're Sir Divine Monarch. Truly an enviable position for anyone among any generation." A peak 6th rank said, saluting and bowing to me upon arrival, as did the others.
"Hmm, odd as it may seem, I am still the young Master there." I chuckled, waving for them to all relax. "It seems like the other Head Masters have good heads on their shoulders. To actually send me the requested items with the exact group of people I'd like to have test the results with." I added, as several other peak 6th rank's arrived.
All of these 6th ranks were at their absolute limit of strength. Meaning they were bound by the 2 rank promotion limit and they also suffered from the lack of a solidified Small Universe. They were truly in a heap of trouble. To put so much effort and resources into them, only for them to die from old age… Is too cruel… These are those who can taste the next rank and even manage a victory if they world as a team.
"Yes, here is the piece of the Universe Column we harvested. We did harvest a few extra pieces for other reasons, but we did as you said and opted to remain from over harvesting." Another 6th rank said.
"Yeah, we alchemists also didn't over harvest…" Another 6th rank added.
I accepted the boxes and promptly took out all of the columns. "Good, they are indeed all the remaining columns… And I can sense that they were harvested without overdoing it. That's good, until we achieve a truly unfathomable population… We will truly be limited in the amount of these things that can be produced." I said, refining each piece into my first Small Universe, now having 1 of 3 of my Small Universes bearing the protection of 12 columns. I stretched up a little. "However, because I have such a population internally… I can produce them rather quickly. Oh… This is surprising…" I said, as I brought out a piece of the harvested Primordial Yin Bamboo… "This is much stronger than the original and has far less drawbacks. Interesting…" I chuckled again.
"Sir Divine Monarch, what does that mean exactly? Does it ruin the original plan?" A significantly more timid 6th rank asked.
"Absolutely not. This proves my original hypothesis. This column is now so powerful, I'd rate it barely below any of the four pillars. This could mean one of two things; first my special Small Universe has caused this through some other means, or when grown in the presence of each other they grow and magnify each other's power while balancing out their downsides. Either way, we are benefiting quite nicely. Now time to begin the true experiment…" I said… "Oh, I should also prohibit further use of this area. It's about to become dangerous." I added, with a snap of my fingers.
With the addition of new disciples to take advantage of this benefit I created out of my breakthrough, it was time to begin. I harvested a piece of the universe columns so I'd have one of all twelve. Mysterious Yin Bamboo, Clear Yang Lake, Mystical Meadows Flower, Wondrous Woods Tree, Transparent Soaring Cloud, Vital Golden Mushroom, Bright Moon Seed, Spiritual Beguiling Lily, Primordial World Ice, Eternal Blaze Mountain, Rainbow Silver Grass and Vivid Sun Sage.
The twelve harvested pieces floated in front of me. Their powers seemingly intertwine and grow. With a surge of my lightning as the catalyst, a reaction began. The columns began fusing into a singular point, guided by the lightning they continued to react and bind together. With a reaction this strong, I protected everyone currently in the Spatial Territory. It was truly worthy of the powers known to be associated with these heaven defying resources.
The reaction took several days to complete. While I noted every single detail down to the tiniest most seemingly insignificant ones. If I am to make more of these fusions then I'd need to learn if there were any way to speed it up. The result of this fusion was truly something extraordinary. Especially notable were the dancing red lights from within… A truly flawless orb.
