Wang An Leiji (Yang Leiji) (What If I Was In Martial Peak)

Chapter 534: Azure Dragon Emperor (2) / Giant Spirit Gods

A short silence fell over the area, likely due to the pair of presences on their way. These two had made some distance rather quick and were now close enough for several others to sense them. Which clearly had them all make moves to get out of the way. After all, one would have to be utterly insane to stand in their way.

"I see… With a resolve like that, I suppose as an Ancestor and a former Dragon Emperor myself. I'll support you in this way. But you'll leave the timing up to me. If it's possible I know he…" The Azure Dragon Soul said, in a somber adjacent tone. Not said, just concerned.

"It's fine if you want to do that. I won't request more of you. However, do not think for a moment that anyone is, or will be strong enough to get me out of a tight spot." I said, firmly. "Aside from Sun and Moon, no one has the power needed to fight on the sidelines of my battle. But even if I fall, I'll make sure that detestable existence is locked away for as long as possible." I added.

"Hmm… For this, I must reserve my own determination. Perhaps you'll be able to convince me after dealing with those two." The Azure Dragon said, as I placed the Spear in a rather good spot for it to store more strength.

Having taken care of mostly everything that required my attention from a sitting position… I stood up and stretched. As numerous messages from my wives kept flooding in, all of them were expressing how much they want to cultivate over in the sanctuary I created. "Just a moment. I've got a mild test coming up once that's done, I'll bring you all over."

"Now then, they should be here right about now…" I murmured, creating several barriers around those outside of my immediate range of protection. And just in time too. Two gargantuan figures appeared in the void. Each stared at me with an awkward look in their eyes. "Hey there, Ah Da, Ah Er. Welcome to my accidental sanctuary. What do the two of you want?" I chuckled a moment while asking.

"You know, Ah Da?" Ah Da asked, curiously. Then just like he normally was food entered his thoughts. "Ah Da is hungry! A tasty meal turned bad when lightning struck it." He pouted.

"Ah, that may indeed have been my fault. My lightning tends to have similar effects on other things as well." I chuckled, gently rubbing my chin. "I'd bet it turned into a living world once again? Am I right?" I asked.

"Huh… You knew? Say… You look similar to my small friend. Are you my small friend with the snacks?" Ah Da asked, as his mouth watered with the expectation of snacks.

"Ahahaha! No, no, I'm not him. Though I do share similar features, that is because he is my father." I laughed, pulling out a crumpled piece of the Universe world I had once previously used for my breakthrough to the origin king realm. "It may not be as satisfying, but I can give you some of these for now. But I'd like to study your physiques for a while. I may be able to find you a more reliable food source for you." I suggested.

"Ah Da likes food! Ah Da wants food! Son of my little friend, give snacks and be my friend too." Ah Da excitedly leaned close.

"And what of yourself Ah Er? I know you and my father have a different history. Are you willing to help?" I asked, turning my focus to the other Giant Spirit God.

"Ah Er is hungry…" Ah Er replied. "Give food." He continued.

I looked at both of them and sighed. I tossed equal sized pieces of the broken and dead universe world to each of them.

"Listen up. You two are going to stay and guard this place. If any ink clan forces come through, or a request from the Dragon and Phoenix Clans, asks for you… Take action immediately." I said, as the pair of childish giants munched away. "Now that you've eaten, it's time to see what you're made of. This will be a mock battle, the two of you against myself. Once we are done I'll reward you for your efforts with a snack. Sound good?" I added, cracking my neck and knuckles.

"Fight? But I want to sleep…" Ah Er complained.

"You can have a nap once we're finished. Now let's spar." I said, preparing to fight. My simple action changed the atmosphere of the 3000 worlds. It was enough to get the giant spirit gods to begin.

The clash we had was nothing short of awe striking. Those who watched on were either simply incapable of seeing what was going on, or so flabbergasted they couldn't even think about explaining it, let alone actually doing so.

However, there were a few exceptions. Primarily those who were closer to the 9th rank. These individuals kept growing a year's worth with every stable breath. Though, for them to breathe with any sense of stability was a tall order to say the very least. So it wasn't often, but once it happened enough times to get a noticeable difference, it became significantly more frequent. And then there was a break in the match.

"Ahahaha! I'll admit you're both exceptionally strong. But I don't think you'll be able to keep up with me much longer. Do you want a break now? I can heal those wounds of yours and you can take a nap…" I said, with a bout of laughter.

"No! Ah Da not lose!" Ah Da said. "Ah Da want more food! Ah Da try harder!" He continued, through the injuries and pain.

"Ah Er is hungry too! Give more effort, get more food! So Ah Er go until done!" Ah Er said, also with a similar number of injuries.

"Hmm, I was actually hoping you'd give up now. But I guess we can keep going. But first…" I said turning to address the onlookers. "Those of you are your way to the 9th rank. You'd be better off not watching this next part, or if you think you can handle it. Promise me you will stop the moment it gets overwhelming. If you can't do that I'll block your sight of the battle entirely. It's better than dying early." I explained, making sure they understood the stakes.
