Wanda Maximoff Multiversal Harem Hunter

Chapter 70: Fracture’s Big Break

The rhythmic hum of Stark Tower's lab filled the air as the Extremis Virus project moved from simulation to lab testing. Holographic projections of molecular structures danced in the air, showcasing weeks of progress. Wanda Maximoff, Talia Stark, and Natasha Romanoff stood together, reviewing the final adjustments before the virus's first live trial.

"All right, ladies," Talia began, her voice tinged with confident enthusiasm, "we've crossed the line from theory to practice. This is where the fun begins."

"Fun?" Natasha said dryly, raising an eyebrow. "You have a strange definition of it."

Talia grinned. "You'll love it. Watching science in action is exhilarating."

Fracture, lounging in her semi-liquid form on a nearby workstation, chimed in. **"I don't know about this. You're asking me to be the guinea blob for a virus that used to make people explode."**

Talia rolled her eyes. "Relax, Fracture. I told you, the explosions were fixed weeks ago. You're not going to blow up."

**"That's what they all say,"** Fracture muttered. **"Next thing you know—boom! No more Fracture, no more Wanda, and no more Stark ego."**

Wanda smirked, stepping forward. "Come on, Fracture. It's time you returned the favor."

**"What favor?"** Fracture asked, her tendrils curling suspiciously.

"You've been eating people and talking with your mouth full for months," Wanda said, crossing her arms. "This is my revenge. You can't complain about being the lab rat—it's poetic justice."

Natasha chuckled. "I can't argue with that logic."

"Neither can I," Talia added with a grin. "Let's do this."

Fracture groaned, her voice dripping with exaggerated resignation. **"Fine. But if I blow up, I'm taking the building with me."**

Wanda arched an eyebrow. "You're really committed to the drama, aren't you?"

**"Always,"** Fracture replied. **"It's part of my charm."**

Talia activated the system, her fingers flying across the console as the Extremis Virus was injected into a small containment chamber housing Fracture's mass. The room grew quiet, the hum of machinery the only sound as the virus began to interact with the symbiote.

At first, nothing seemed to happen. The holographic display showed stable results—no overheating, no cellular rejection. Then, without warning, Fracture's form began to bubble and emit steam, her red-and-black mass glowing faintly.

"Uh, Talia?" Natasha said, her voice calm but wary. "Is it supposed to do that?"

Talia frowned, scanning the data. "It's within acceptable parameters, but... Fracture, how are you feeling?"

Fracture's bubbling mass suddenly shaped itself into a crude head, which turned toward them. **"Like I'm about to blow this place sky-high."**

"What?!" Wanda and Talia exclaimed in unison, their eyes widening in alarm.

The bubbling intensified, and steam filled the chamber. Wanda instinctively reached out with her magic, while Natasha took a defensive stance, her hand hovering near her gun.

"Fracture!" Wanda shouted. "Don't you dare—"

**"Gotcha,"** Fracture said gleefully as the glowing subsided and her form returned to normal. Her head reformed fully, wearing a smug grin.

Talia blinked. "Did you just... prank us?"

Fracture's tendrils rippled with amusement. **"You should've seen your faces. Priceless."**

Natasha crossed her arms, muttering under her breath. "Unbelievable."

Wanda rubbed her temples, exhaling slowly. "Fracture, I swear—"

**"Hey,"** Fracture interrupted. **"I've been cooped up in this lab for days. I'm bored, I'm stressed, and I'm starving. Cut me some slack."**

Talia crossed her arms. "You're a symbiote. You don't even eat the same way we do."

**"And yet,"** Fracture said, her tone dripping with sarcasm, **"I still need to eat. Speaking of which... Wanda, you owe me."**

Wanda sighed, feeling a twinge of guilt. "Alright, alright. Tonight, we're going out. I'll find you a few muggers to snack on."

**"Finally!"** Fracture exclaimed, her form shifting excitedly. **"You're the best, Wanda."**

Natasha smirked. "That's one way to clear up New York's crime problem."

"It's efficient," Talia added with a shrug. "Can't argue with results."

The streets of New York City were alive with their usual chaotic energy. The glow of streetlights cast long shadows on the pavement, and the occasional honk of a taxi punctuated the quiet tension of the group's mission. Wanda, Natasha, and Talia moved with purpose, Fracture's semi-liquid form curling lazily around Wanda's shoulders.

"You know," Natasha said, her tone light but teasing, "it's almost too quiet tonight. You're overdue for trouble, Wanda."

Wanda smirked, raising an eyebrow. "You say that like I invite it."

"You don't have to invite it," Talia chimed in, her blue eyes glinting with amusement. "It follows you around like a stray cat."

**"More like a pack of stray cats,"** Fracture added, her voice dripping with sarcasm. **"And they're all hungry."**

"I don't know what you're all talking about," Wanda said, feigning innocence. "I'm perfectly capable of walking through the city without causing a scene."

Natasha snorted. "Sure, keep telling yourself that."

As they turned into a dimly lit alley, the banter came to an abrupt halt. A shadowy figure emerged from the darkness, his posture tense and his face obscured by the brim of a low hat. His hand hovered near his pocket, and the flicker of a gun caught the faint light.

"Well," Talia said, breaking the silence, "there's your stray cat."

Wanda's crimson aura flickered faintly as she tilted her head, her tone dry. "Told you I could attract trouble."

Fracture's head formed beside Wanda's, her tendrils curling eagerly. **"Oh, I like this guy. He's got that whole 'poor life choices' vibe going on."**

Natasha folded her arms, her green eyes narrowing as she sized up the would-be mugger. "What are the odds this ends without him regretting his life decisions?"

"Zero," Talia replied, her smirk widening. "But I'm curious to see how he plans to play this."

Wanda glanced at the mugger, her expression unreadable. "Think he'll surprise us?"

Fracture grinned, her crimson mass shifting with anticipation. "Doubt it. But I do love a good snack."

The mugger hesitated, his hand twitching near his pocket as he stared at the four of them. The tension in the air was palpable, but there was an undercurrent of amusement in the trio's demeanor, as if they were daring him to make a move.

"Your call, buddy," Natasha said, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "But I'd think really hard about your next step."

Talia crossed her arms, her smirk firmly in place. "Because honestly, we're all a little bored tonight."

The man took a hesitant step forward, clearly weighing his options. Fracture's head tilted, her voice cutting through the silence like a knife.

"Go on," she said, her tone playful and menacing. "Make my night."

"Any bets on how long he lasts?" Talia asked casually.

"None," Wanda replied with a smirk. "This is going to be over before it even starts."
