Wanda Maximoff Multiversal Harem Hunter

Chapter 33: The Showdown Begins

The air in the throne room grew heavier as Baron Zemo stepped back, his smirk unwavering as he gestured for Dimitri to step forward. Dimitri's grin widened, his twin swords gleaming ominously in the green-tinged torchlight. The arrogance in his stance was palpable as he swung the blades in a practiced arc, their edges slicing through the air with a faint whistle.

"You wanted a fight," Dimitri said, his voice dripping with condescension. "Well, here I am. Let's see if you've got what it takes."

Wanda Maximoff stepped forward, the Chitauri Scepter glowing faintly in her hand. Her crimson eyes locked onto Dimitri's, and a faint smirk tugged at her lips. "Two swords, huh? Overcompensating for something?"

Dimitri's grin faltered, his face reddening as he scowled. "You think you're funny, Maximoff? Let's see how funny you are when I'm done with you."

Eska snorted from the side, raising her rifle. "Well, that hit a nerve. Nice work, Wanda."

Zemo chuckled from his position on the throne, his calm demeanor unchanged. "Oh, Dimitri, do try to keep your composure. It would be such a shame to lose to words before the battle even begins."

Dimitri growled, gripping his swords tighter as he charged at Wanda.

The clash was immediate and ferocious. Dimitri's twin swords moved with unnatural speed, each strike aimed with lethal precision. Wanda parried with the scepter, her symbiote-enhanced strength barely holding against his superhuman blows. Sparks flew as metal met metal, the sound reverberating through the chamber.

"You're quick," Wanda admitted, dodging a slash aimed at her midsection. "But not quick enough."

She countered with a surge of chaos magic, sending a blast toward Dimitri. He leapt back with agility that defied his size, landing gracefully as his smirk returned.

"Come on, Maximoff," Dimitri taunted. "I expected more from Sokovia's supposed savior."

Eska moved to the side, her rifle trained on Dimitri. She fired off a shot, aiming for his leg, but Dimitri spun, his blade deflecting the bullet with a flick of his wrist.

"Is that all you've got, Eska?" Dimitri sneered. "You're as predictable as ever."

"Oh, don't worry," Eska replied, lobbing a grenade in his direction. "I'm just getting started."

The explosion forced Dimitri to dodge, his movements a blur as he avoided the blast. Wanda used the distraction to strike, her scepter clashing with his swords in a flurry of sparks. The force of her attack sent Dimitri skidding back, but he quickly recovered, his grin returning.

"Not bad," Dimitri said, his tone mocking. "But you'll have to do better than that."

Zemo clapped slowly from the sidelines, his voice cutting through the chaos. "Ah, Dimitri, ever the showman. It's almost impressive how you manage to make even the most straightforward fight entertaining."

"Maybe you should step in, Zemo," Wanda shot back, deflecting another strike from Dimitri. "Unless you're too busy monologuing."

Zemo chuckled, his smirk widening. "Oh, Maximoff, I'm quite content where I am. This is Dimitri's moment, after all. Why should I steal his glory?"

"Because he doesn't have any," Eska muttered, firing another shot at Dimitri. This time, the bullet grazed his arm, drawing a thin line of blood.

Dimitri's grin faltered, his eyes narrowing as he turned his attention to Eska. "You'll pay for that."

Dimitri lunged at Eska, his swords moving in a deadly arc. Eska rolled out of the way, her movements quick but not as enhanced as his. Wanda intercepted him, her scepter clashing with his blades as she forced him back.

"You really don't know when to quit, do you?" Wanda said, her voice steady despite the intensity of the fight.

"Neither do you," Dimitri retorted, his strikes growing faster and more aggressive. His twin swords whirled around him like a deadly dance, forcing Wanda to rely on her symbiote-enhanced reflexes to keep up.

The fight raged on, the room filled with the sounds of clashing metal and the occasional burst of magic or gunfire. Dimitri's strength and speed were formidable, his super soldier enhancements making him a relentless opponent. Eska provided support, her grenades and rifle shots keeping Dimitri on his toes, but even with their combined efforts, the fight was far from easy.

"You know," Zemo said casually, leaning back in his throne, "this is quite entertaining. I should thank you, Maximoff, for bringing some excitement to an otherwise tedious evening."

"You're welcome," Wanda replied, deflecting another strike. "But don't get too comfortable. Your turn's coming."

Zemo's smile widened. "Oh, I'm counting on it."

As the fight continued, Dimitri's movements became more erratic, his frustration evident in the way he swung his swords with increasing force. Wanda capitalized on his anger, using her chaos magic to create small bursts of energy that disrupted his rhythm.

"You're losing your touch, Dimitri," Wanda said, a faint smirk on her lips. "Is the super serum wearing off already?"

Dimitri growled, his face red with fury. "You'll regret that."

Eska fired another shot, this one aimed at his leg. Dimitri dodged, but the movement left him momentarily off balance. Wanda seized the opportunity, striking with the scepter and forcing him back.

"Nice teamwork," Eska called out, reloading her rifle.

"Keep it up," Wanda replied, her crimson eyes glowing with determination. "He's strong, but he's not invincible."

Despite their combined efforts, Dimitri remained a formidable opponent, his enhanced abilities pushing Wanda and Eska to their limits. The battle was grueling, each strike and counterstrike leaving its mark on the room and its fighters.

Zemo watched with unwavering amusement, his calm demeanor unshaken. "You're putting on quite the show, Dimitri. But do try to finish them before they bore me."

"Why don't you help him out, Zemo?" Eska called out, throwing another grenade. "Or are you afraid you'll get your hands dirty?"

Zemo chuckled, his voice low and mocking. "Patience, my dear Eska. All in good time."

As the fight continued, the toll on both sides became evident. Wanda's breathing grew heavier, her symbiote-enhanced strength straining under the relentless assault. Eska's shots became more calculated, her focus unwavering despite the chaos.

Dimitri, though clearly tiring, refused to back down. His twin swords gleamed in the flickering torchlight as he prepared for another charge.

"This isn't over," he growled, his voice filled with defiance.

"Not yet," Wanda agreed, her grip on the scepter tightening. "But it will be."
