NOVEL NEXT Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Iron Man
"Cortana, time to finally have a good high calorie meal. By the way, with how much energy I was producing yesterday, how is the sorting and organizing of all the information you downloaded?"
"About one in a millionth of the total information had been sorted. Progress is going smoothly and should speed up with your future intake of calories and energy to burn." Hearing Cortana's mention of such a staggering amount, he can't help but sigh as to how long it would take to finally have an upgrade for Cortana.

Ajentt exhaled for the future of when Cortana finally gets an upgrade, possibly truly far into the future. He went to a local chicken shop with a black man running the store, with seemingly their original recipe, it would for sure taste good and so he bought a bucket that is sure to be filled with lots of calories for Cortana to burn into energy. Cortana says that she can manipulate his digestion to increase the digestion process when necessary.
Returning to his work, Ajentt turned on his computer, intending to write a resignation letter instead of like in the original movie where he went into an outburst and ruined his future of gaining a similar job again if he ever falls back into needing it again, it's not like the company is a black company to begin with, just a depressed boss and a worker who sucks at his job.
Printing his resignation letter and heading to Janis's office. *Knock Knock* Waiting for Janis who is clearly cleaning up her desk and shoving away her jelly donuts, he heard her finally call for him. "Come in."
"Morning Miss Janis." Ajentt greeted her, "This is my resignation letter."
Perplex as to why he would suddenly quit when he was finally doing a very good job this past couple of days, she asked. "Hmm? How come your handing in your resignation? You have been doing a good job these past several days, I was even thinking of getting you a raise on next week's evaluation report."
"It's like this, although I never met my father since he left before I could even walk and remember him, someone approached me and told me of his death. I'm at a loss on how to feel about this, but the news of him leaving me his fortune and burdens is overwhelming me right now, so I can only hand in my resignation till I get everything sorted out, and maybe someday go back to this job."
"Oh, sorry about the news of your fathers death. So unexpected for you to encounter something like this. Well, I'll gladly accept your resignation, hopefully you sort everything out, I'll be leaving a spot for you to return to if you ever come back." Janis simply says in a sympathetic tone. 'I guess being good at your job and not giving any problems to your boss won't give you the ire I used to get.'
Heading back into his office cubicle, he packed some of his things. There wasn't much to pack anyway and, remembering the scene from the movie, he grabbed his big ergonomic keyboard to take with him.
Barry was late again to work but was just in time to see Ajentt leave, seeing that he was carrying stuff with him from his cubicle, he can't help but comment. "Hey, are you cleaning up again?"
"No, I quit." Ajentt just looks at Barry with a smirk on his face as they slowly approach each other.
"What? Quit? Are you going to another company?" Barry asked skeptically.
"It's not that, it's just that I found a new purpose in life, and would like to stay far from you from now on." Ajentt shifts his expression to a frown as they draw much closer.
"What? Did I do something wrong with you?" Barry stops and just stares at Ajentt confused.
"I know what you did, you can keep Casey for yourself, I don't want her anymore." As Ajentt get in range of Barry, activated his adrenaline rush, raised the keyboard and smashed the keyboard right in his face and knocking him out, the workers all around them gasp at the unexpected scene.
Ajentt continued on his way walking over Barry. Passing by Nicole, he said his goodbye and kissed her on the lips, drawing another gasp from the crowd, now proceeding to leave the office building for good.
Hailing for a taxi, he proceeded to go to a library where there is a public computer he could use and internet. "So Cortana, any insights on what I could do to secure all my cash?"
"I have no clue, it would be helpful if you could connect me to the internet to look up information on what could be done, this world is different from your old world after all and I have yet to process all the information obtained from your old world."
Browsing through tons of data from the internet, Stark Industries came up, it would be wise to let the master know of its existence.
"There is a company called Stark Industries in the stock market, and it seems to be the choice of many people to put their money on." Ajentt was put on alert, suddenly knowing of the existence of Stark, "Don't tell me Stark Industries is owned by Stark of Iron man, is it?"
"It indeed is, the moment Information of Stark Industries was found, it would be wise of me to let you know, and the possibility of putting your money on it."
"Is this world an amalgamation of several movies? I mean the movie Wanted and Iron Man, possibly the whole of Marvel could be here." Ajentt pondered the question.
"Could be possible, further collection of information is required to confirm your conjecture master."
"No need, the more I know, the more troublesome the situation will be, knowledge is a burden as they say. Besides I'm far too weak to face Iron Man, No strength or reputation to back me up against him." If Cortana learns more Information from the internet and informs him, who knows how many bigshots he would learn exist here, it will only worry him on how he will survive with all the problems they will bring. Ignorance is bliss as they say.
"Have you figured out a way to hide your money, master?" Cortana cutely asked to lessen the tension.
"Bitcoin exists in this universe right? I might as well invest most of my assets there and some in Stark Industries."
"Bitcoin does not exist in this universe though something similar does, it's called Marvel Coin Universe."
"That will work, any conditions of our oh so genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist?"
"There is some news of Stark's Kidnapping." Cortana pops up the latest news video of Tony Stark.
"It has been three months since Tony Stark was kidnapped. The military continues on with their search and is yet to give up on his eventual return. Stark Industries' stock is showing signs of fluctuations as Tony Stark continues to remain miss... " Ajentt thought for a moment and asked, "How long was Stark kept imprisoned in the movie?"
"After he was rescued, he said that he was locked up for three months." Cortana answered according to the information sorted from his old world.
