Vivienne

Poem: “Faye’s Disarray”

This poem took root recently when I was dreaming and thought about Faye a little deeper immediately after she'd changed.  I wanted to portray her initial confusion and her clarity when Vivienne spoke to her.  I hope you all enjoy this look into the mind of a newborn vampire.

"Faye's Disarray"

Who am I?
I have no memory to draw or consider,
Blood surrounds my presence,
Crystal blue eyes causing my heart to flutter,
I can feel my soul tied to her existence.
These few things don't reveal the confusion it's my ordeal.
I still need to know...

Who am I?
Hidden behind a wall of obscurity,
I lack self and lack unity,
Cherished love and chanced purity,

Please, please don't disappear into obscurity,
I need to know for our sake and end this heartache.
So please indulge me...

Who am I?
I desperately screamed give me what's mine!
Hand in hand we gave love a chance,
"Vivienne." I called out so exotic and divine,
Say my name using that voice from France,
Vivienne announced her love and treated me like a dove.
Please fix my puzzle...

Who am I?
There I lay my mind still in disarray,
With baited breath and blue eyes shining,
"Faye" a moment later my fog went away,
Images of my past open and combining,
Faye Park is who I came to know, a name that defined me not long ago.

Who am I?
A good daughter once before,
Now a woman that died to beg love for a try,
Vivienne, I belong with you... Mon Amore.
