Chapter 43: Chapter 0043: Advanced Blueprint! (2/5)

Novak settled back into the car, all while feeling the intense gazes of the others—filled with fear, awe, and even admiration.

Daphne, however, turned her attention to the remaining guards standing in stunned silence. Over half of the brigade, which had numbered fifty, was gone, including their leader. Nicole spoke up:

"You've all seen it—the world is changing, and no one knows what the future holds. We're gathering people at the Ocean Blue Villa area. If you want, you're welcome to join us. At the very least, we can promise some level of safety for your families."

The man in charge shook his head. "Thank you for saving us, but we have to report back to our boss first."

Nicole frowned, about to push further, but Daphne gently stopped her with a smile. "It's alright. We don't force anyone. If you change your mind, you're welcome anytime."

What could they really do with just over ten people?

As Novak had said, if the world was truly collapsing and the government lost its grip on military technology, these people would soon be in dire straits. There was no need to rush them.

The vehicle rumbled to life and moved forward once again. The disruption to the magnetic field wasn't total; some vehicles had stopped working, while others still functioned. Thankfully, Novak wouldn't have to walk the entire way back to Ocean Blue Villa in the dark.

Just as the car picked up speed, Tad suddenly exclaimed, "Novak! You're Yie Novak!"

Novak's eyes opened briefly, glancing at Tad.

"I'm a graduate intern from De-Manila University!" Tad hurriedly explained. "I'm in the Broadcasting Department! We met once!"

Novak was well-known at the university, so Tad's recognition wasn't surprising. But Novak merely gave a small nod before closing his eyes again, leaving Tad awkwardly silent, his attempt to connect faltering.

It wasn't that Novak was indifferent—his mind was simply elsewhere, buzzing with excitement over the recent battle.

A tenfold drop rate! It's insane!

He couldn't help but focus on his system's inventory, scanning the incredible loot he'd just acquired.

Six gold coins.

But what truly grabbed his attention was the advanced blueprint sitting at the top of the list—something beyond his wildest expectations.

[Biochemical Disaster - Advanced Blueprint]

[Weapon – Gloves (Class C)]

[Description: The Zombie Claw's evolutionary equipment is now even more powerful!]

[Manufacturing Method & Materials: Equip the 'Zombie Claw.' Required materials: Roshan's Core, Tyrant's Claw, Heretic Heart, Lord's Brain.]

[Note: There is only a very small chance of obtaining an advanced blueprint when killing an elite evolutionary with the 'Zombie Claw' equipped. Extremely rare!]

An advanced blueprint for biochemical disaster gear!

Novak had never encountered something like this in his past life. Blueprint equipment was already rare and highly sought after. After the apocalypse, even the wealthiest organizations couldn't always secure such items—they were priceless treasures at auction, coveted by evolutionaries across the globe.

The Zombie Claw, powerful as it was, was only an E-grade weapon. While most evolutionaries would cling to it for a long time, Novak knew it would eventually become obsolete for him. Yet, he hadn't expected that day to come so soon. After defeating Roshan, he had lucked into an advanced blueprint!

The materials required for crafting it were challenging but not impossible to obtain. Roshan's Core, for instance, was a special organ found in the mutant's stomach, the source of its immense power. The other materials—Tyrant's Claw, Heretic Heart, Lord's Brain—were from equally rare and dangerous creatures, but all were within reach.

But there was more.

Beyond the blueprint, Novak's haul included something truly extraordinary: a building.

Yes, an actual construction category item!

[Roshan Wall]

[Building Material – Grade E]

[A wall that grows by absorbing flesh and blood from corpses. Tough, resilient, and self-regenerating. A highly valuable and rare building material!]

Evolutionary bases and cities were encouraged by the universal trials of Gods and Demons. While individual trials tested personal strength, the construction of cities represented the trials of civilization. And this Roshan Wall, even in Novak's previous life, had been considered a priceless material.

The wall had the terrifying ability to feed on corpses, grow stronger, and regenerate itself. It could evolve by devouring more flesh and blood, making it the ultimate defensive structure! Even a small piece of this material was worth hundreds of thousands of gold coins, and now it was Novak's.

And that wasn't all. Among the loot, there was also a skill book worth noting:

[Muscle Growth]

[Passive Skill – Level E]

[Increases muscle activity and mass. Strength and Constitution increase by 100% with proper training.]

It was a solid skill. In his previous life, Novak had seen many evolutionaries who used it—towering figures with muscles bulging like tumors, more exaggerated than the most extreme bodybuilders.

However, Novak wasn't interested in turning into a muscular behemoth. While he valued strength, he wasn't about to sacrifice his agility and efficiency for it. After all, this was just a low-level skill.

As he pondered his gains, a sudden shout broke through his thoughts.

"Wait! My camera is still on that hill!"

Novak opened his eyes and turned toward Tad, who had spoken. A small smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

Speaking of which, didn't the newcomer in the group—the one who called himself 'Overlord'—just upload a video?

Novak couldn't help but wonder how 'Overlord' must have felt after watching the footage of the massive, dismembered Roshan mountain.
