"Wait... don't tell me he's a secret talent of your station," Cassy leaned in closer to Eli.

Eli chuckled, shaking her head. "I wish! But no, he's just someone I picked up along the way.

Cassy raised an eyebrow, "Just someone? With those looks, he could definitely be a star!"

She nudged Eli playfully. "You've got to keep him around! He would bring in some serious ratings."

Eli forced a smile, trying to maintain the lighthearted atmosphere.

She could see where Cassy was coming from, but deep down, she doubted that someone like him would be willing to work as an anchor.

"If you don't want him, then I'll try my luck," Cassy said with a playful grin, reaching into her pocket to pull out a calling card.
