He had thought that they would only need to fight against Silver Night Fox and help Princess Fanrong enslave it. Never in his dream would he have predicted that two King Realm spirit beasts would target his group.

At this moment, suddenly the metal claw eagle and Blue Lightning bull became more aggressive than usual.

The metal claw eagle began using heavy attacks relentlessly and the Blue Lightning Bull remained still for a while, gathering lightning qi as its whole body began to emit lighting sparks.

"This is the end for you humans!" Blue Lightning Bull roared before charging straight for the Golden Mane Lion King as the metal claw eagle moved out of the way.

The Golden Mane Lion King, despite being able to move out of the way, didn't do so.

Behind him were Zhu Shizi, Princess Fanrong, and Zhu Loyan. If he evaded the attack, Fanrong and Zhu Loyan would surely die as they were only at the core-formation realm. Even Zhu Shizi would be heavily injured from only the lightning emitted by the Bull.

The Golden mane lion glanced at Zhu Shizi and smiled gently before bracing himself for the impact.

Boom!

The impact of the collision was loud. The Blue Lightning bull's horns pierced the body of the Lion before sending shocks of lightning into his body, taking the life out of him.

"NO!!!" Zhu Shizi roared in pain, knowing that his beast had sacrificed himself for them.

The Blue Lightning bull smirked at his pained roar as he threw the corpse of the Golden mane lion towards them.

The metal claw eagle laughed and asked: "Any last words humans before we finish you off?"

"Why?? Why are you doing this to us?? What have we done wrong?!" Zhu Shizi roared in anger and grief. He didn't know why these King realm spirit beasts were targeting him and his group.

Now that the Golden Mane Lion, the last line of defense was dead; there was no way for them to remain alive.

He knew that it was over for them, but atleast he wanted to know why they were subjected to such a fate.

The Metal claw eagle snickered as he answered: "You humans come here, trying to capture our little sister. Do you think we would let you go?"

"Little sister?" Zhu Shizi looked at Silver Night Fox in surprise before trying to talk his way out:

"But we didn't know that she was your sister. Please forgive us this one time and we promise that you will never see us here again." He pointed at Fanrong and informed: "You see her, she is the daughter of the matriarch of the Zhuji tribe. We can guarantee that no human would ever target your little sister if you let us go. Please show mercy."

For Zhu Shizi, ensuring the princess' safety was the most important. For that, even if he had to beg these beasts, he would do so.

"Oh? She is the princess of the Zhuji tribe?" The metal Claw eagle lord was visibly surprised.

Seeing this, Zhu Shizi saw a ray of hope as he excitedly nodded: "Yes. I beg you to show mercy. I promise you won't regret it."

"Hmm..." The metal claw eagle lord hummed as he began to ponder before revealing a sinister smile and asking:

"But doesn't that mean if I let her go, you humans might return with an even larger army to take revenge on us? If we kill all of you here, no one will find out about how you died and no one will come to take revenge. Anyway you look at it, killing you is the better option."

"What??" Zhu Shizi couldn't help but look as if his soul had left his body.

"Now get ready!" The metal claw eagle lord spoke, raising his claw to strike Zhu Shizi.

Clank!

As soon as he brought his claw down, Zhu Shizi evaded the attack before flying towards the princess and his daughter, trying to escape with them.

"You dare!" Metal Claw Eagle lord roared in anger at his sneakiness as he moved at a terrifyingly fast speed and plunged his claws into his back in an instant without even giving him time to react.

"No!! Father!!" Zhu Loyan cried in agony upon seeing his father's fresh corpse.

"Hahaha, Foolish human. How can he think of escaping me with that slow speed?" Metal claw eagle lord mocked before shifting his gaze to the remaining humans.

"Who wants to die first between you two?" He asked, showing his bloody claws.

Princess Fanrong and Zhu Loyan both shivered in fear, unable to utter a sound. It was clear to them that there was no escape anymore.

Is this it for me? Is this how I die?

This thought flashed in Princess Fanrong's consciousness as she saw the metal claw eagle lord approaching.

Losing all hope, her face only contained despair.

Right at this moment, she felt some vibrations in her body as if the earth was vibrating under her feet.

The sound of heavy footsteps approaching resounded in her ears. She didn't know if these were the footsteps of the metal claw Eagle or some other being.

Soon, she noticed that these were more than one being's footsteps.

She looked in the direction of the source of this sound, noticing two humongous Tigers. She was only the size of their nails.

This was what she thought at first, however, noticing a human on top of the red fiery tiger, she realized that these were spirit beasts enslaved by that human.
