"Bowling? No, I haven't," Beatrice answers frankly. 

"Well, what do you say guys? Wanna go knock down some pins?"

Without making a single footstep, Chifuyu gets right behind Diego in an instant and puts his hand on his shoulder.

"That sounds wonderful right now."

"Did you just flash step to me?"

"It's settled, we're going bowling!"

"Nobody even answered yet."

Just like that, Odd Jobs goes to the nearest bowling alley to spice up their first day of Golden Month even more, and it's packed.

"I've never gone bowling," Iris states nervously.

"Me neither, should be fun though."

"Who's paying?"

"I got it. Be grateful peasants, the king of bowling has descended upon you."

"Do you still go a lot, Chifuyu? Can't say I'm surprised."

"Actually, I think it's been about 2 years since I've last gone."

"What?! And you're calling yourself the king of bowling. Good luck not getting more than 5 gutters."

"Pff. There's no way I'm even getting one gutter."

After buying a lane and starting off first, Chifuyu gets a gutter. He can't even turn around yet from embarrassment.

"Bwahahahaha!"

"Don't mind."

"You got this next one."

"Is it okay if I cheer him on..?" Iris meekly asks Shinatsu.

"You're not a student in high school with a crush, just do it."

"I can't.."

Shinatsu sighs.

'Okay. That is not happening again.'

Chifuyu gets in his bowling stance. Staring down the lane with conviction, he begins his march to the line. He has 100% confidence he'll knock down every one of the 10 pins. The ball releases from his hand and he follows through, sticking his right hand up and sticking his right leg out to the left. The ball spins, and halfway down it goes into the gutter. Chifuyu sits down and covers his face.

"I wanna die."

"It's okay master," Ariel comforts him.

"It's okay sensei," Nicholas reassures him.

"Hey, maybe stop trying to hook it. You obviously aren't able to do it anymore."

"What was that?"

"Didn't you hear me? You're washed."

Diego launches the ball down the lane with perfect form. It hooks right at the best spot and plows through every pin. It's a strike.

"Yeah, baby!"

"Wooooooo!"

"Nice form."

"Way to go, man!"

Diego high-fives everyone as he walks back to his seat.

"I've still been bowling regularly, you'll never catch back up to me."

"Grrr."

"My turn now."

Ariel steps up. Out of everyone, Diego has to be the most wary of her.

'Let's see what you got, Vampire Lord.'

"Ha!"

The ball flies across the lane in less than a second, pummeling the pitiful pins. The impact was so loud it grabbed the attention of everyone in the building.

The others were all stunned.

"What a line! It went straight down the middle with no change-up."

"Hmph."

Ariel crosses her arms while staring Diego down. 

"This is getting interesting."

"Shut up, dude."

Next up is Iris.

"Um. Can we put those barricade things up?" 

"Absolutely not."

"Sorry, Iris."

They have no mercy toward an injured who can only use one arm. By having the bumpers up, it can interfere with their throws that hug the edge for the optimal hook. It's been 6 weeks since the Augustus Mansion Raid so her injuries should hopefully be healed by the end of the month.

'Well, all lost is hope. At least I'll join you at the bottom, Chifuyu.'

Iris goes in for the throw. Her form leaves much to be desired, but it is her first time. The ball veers to the right and looks as if it's going to be gutter, however it barely manages to knock over the far right pin. Iris looks over surprised. Chifuyu puts his index finger up with a smile on his face. Even if Iris only got one pin, it's still better than he did. This in turn puts a smile on Iris's face. Her confidence goes up about 2 points, and gets 3 more pins on her second throw. 4 pins isn't much in the grand scheme of things, but it was good enough to make Iris happy.

The first frame ends after the rest of the bowling newbies did their first ever throw. The ranking is as follows: Diego, strike. Ariel, strike. Kagura, 9 pins. Nicholas, 8 pins. Shinatsu who was proud of getting more than Iris, 7 pins. Beatrice, 5 pins. Iris, 4 pins. Caesar, 4 pins. Chifuyu The Dethroned of Bowling, 0 pins. There are 9 frames left in the first game, anybody can take the crown.
