Vampire Summoner's Rebirth: Summoning The Vampire Queen At The Start

Chapter 1492: Raiding The Last Hideout Of The Demonic Cult

-----

A blue colored Dimensional Portal opened in front of everyone, as they walked forward, encompassed by Blake's Shadows to be as stealthy as possible.

In a matter of seconds, they moved from the Dwarven Kingdom's Castle garden to the depths of Golden River Kingdom's sewers. The group was big, so Blake concealed them all within his shadows until arriving at the area where he would meet with Dylan.

"For now, have patience, everyone, I will let you out once we reach our destination."

Blake's whispered to his Shadows, as everyone seemed to know the deal, so they remained in silence, while he himself had become nothing but a small shadow, sneaking through the darkness.

Eventually, he reached his destination, a group of Cultists were talking with one another while guarding a large red gate. There were several barriers placed and a demonic formation, alongside a glowing, demonic crystal.

By their side was also Dylan, clad on golden armor, he was quite popular with the members, even though he had been defeated, that he survived and "tricked" Blake into becoming his ally was something that only elevated him further into their cult, he was quite literally Sathan's last hope for the cult's revival.

"And so I was there fighting that giant dragon, it was an incredible battle you see," Dylan was just talking anecdotes to buy time, and make the grunts lower their guard. "Have you ever seen a real dragon? They're terrifying, more than demons themselves, hahaha! And as I was saying…"

Blake smirked, his shadow moving closer. Dylan, who was his Spirit, immediately knew there was something coming, his face suddenly changing into a more serious one, as he unsheathed his sword and…

SLAAASH!

"Ugh?!"

"W-Wha…?!"

"Dylan?!"

"Ack!"

The four grunts with him, all Rank 6 Demonic Cultists were cut into halves by his holy sword, burning with holy flames.

Before they could scream, a massive maw made of shadows swallowed them, as Blake's allies fought them as the cultists desperately struggled to fight.

They mutated into aberrant demonic creatures, fusing with their demonic spirits.

And yet, in a matter of seconds, with Erika's swordsmanship techniques, Elizabeth's holy light beams, and Erdrich's blazing fists, they were gone.

"Well done, that was quick and merciless," Blake emerged from within his shadows, looking at the formation. "Can we deactivate the formation without making a ruckus?"

"We can, I secured this from Sathan," Dylan smiled, taking out a red and black colored key, using it by piercing the red colored barrier and then…

FLASH!

The entire formation and the barriers disappeared in an instant, Blake was left surprised, Dylan did tell him he had a plan as well, but he didn't think it was this good.

"What's that?" he asked.

"This? It's a Demonic Key, it unlocks or creates the formation," Dylan smiled. "Sathan gave it to me after I told her I wanted to reinforce it just in case… She's quite weak to my charm."

"Hmph, well done," Blake smirked. "Now, that gate…"

"Easy," Dylan used the same key to open the gate, revealing a long corridor to the depths of the cult's hideout. "From here, most cultists are gathered within a large open area. They have homes, tents, and the like. We can bring your army once we get there."

"Alright," Blake nodded. "Are you sure about this?"

"Are you seriously asking me that now? I literally died, and if it wasn't for you, I would be dead," Dylan sighed. "I was just used, and I was stupid too… This is the only way I can repent for my sins. Don't worry, I never considered any of these people my friends."

"That's all I needed to hear," Blake said. "Let's do this, Dylan."

Dylan nodded, walking forward while Blake remained within his shadows, his ability to manipulate darkness and shadows had become his greatest asset so far, especially because it was an extremely rare type of magic in this world.

But one that Vampires specialized in the most, making them incredibly hard to catch, and stealthy to the point they could move through whole cities unnoticed.

"Here we are."

Dylan walked through the dark corridor, the sound of people talking became louder and louder, until he arrived at a literal village of its own, with hundreds of people walking around, talking, selling and buying things.

They sold not only demon and monster materials, but even human bodies, spirit orbs, and more. This was perhaps the most aberrant place in the world, and one where humans had left their own morality and become worse than demons themselves.

Although to Blake, this seemed like a typical Black Market on a backwater planet he would visit occasionally, filled with criminals from across the universe.

But now, he was going to destroy it all.

"Ah, Dylan! You're back?"

"Hey Dylan, I got some Demon Cores of high rank, I'll let you have them for a discount."

"I have souls, do you want them? You're practically our leader now!"

"Lady Sathan has lost her motivation… we need you to keep the cult going!"

"Lord Dylan, have you thought about our next move? What should we do?"

"The Archdemons have abandoned us, but this isn't over, right?"

Los of people surrounded Dylan, all of them abandoned their lives and became criminals, ruthless psychopaths, and even worse things. Mostly everyone here had betrayed their families as well and had done so for the sake of their own selfish desires.

However, there was an area Dylan looked, which he didn't want Blake to destroy, and which he had told him about… a place where Orphan children like Patricia usually lived, a large area where they were trained and experimented on.

They were all innocents, captured and enslaved, and turned into weapons, forced to become cultists… Dylan wanted Blake to spare them.

He had made sure to convince mostly every children that lived there to stay in there for the night, promising them that tomorrow, he would take them to a beautiful park and invite them to eat ice cream.

"Blake… Spare the children okay?" Dylan sighed. "You will, right?"

"…Don't worry," Blake said.
