Following the events of the Nightmare Cloud and saving Alberta's parents, we decided to stay in the Kingdom's capital and the castle for a week to relax and rest while also preparing for what was coming next.
We explored the large city and purchased a lot of new and valuable materials or items we found in the shops, which helped me further upgrade my golems, and even allowed my nanobots to grow stronger by absorbing them.
Braveblitz, who had been rather upset I didn't include him in the battle against Belphegor, had been quite happy eating these magic technology, as his body was able to synthesize their power and upgrade his body internally over time.
Once the week came to an end, I had made most of my preparations for my growth, as I was going to absorb several materials I had accumulated and refined using alchemy and creation.
My aim was not only to break through Rank 7 to Rank 8, which I can already, but I'll also try to break through all the way to Peak Rank 8 and then try to get to Rank 9.
How? By absorbing as many A Rank Spirit Orbs as I can, I've accumulated well over two thousands of them through fusing weaker ones over and over, and also from the ones I've accumulated plus the others I get from my various resource gathering places.
S Rank Spirit Orbs are still too rare, S Ranked Monsters are always bosses and powerful beings, so it's impossible to find them on gigantic quantities… for now.
I feel like once my Spirit Orb reaches Rank 9, I will be ready for what's coming next, the Trial… And once that's done, we'll go directly towards Sathan and dismantle whatever remains of the Demonic Cult once and for all before marching towards the North of the Central Continent, face Lucifer's army, and attempt to push them back to the Dark Continent, the continent the demons had taken over completely.
Everything is already planned, and I won't stop until I achieve my goals. So for now, let's begin with the first thing. Leaving Erika and Elizabeth sleeping on their beds back in the manor we were given near the castle, I quickly moved to an emptier room I had left for myself.
There, as I felt the sunlight covering my back through he window behind me, I looked at the items I was going to use, Spirit Orbs, lots of them. I quickly began absorbing them in large quantities.
The maximum amount I could absorb at once was a hundred, so it still took time, but each time I absorbed them, more spirit energy was bloated within my Spirit Orb.
The more Spirit Energy I accumulated, the more my Spirit Orb overflowed with power and new energy… I continued meditating as I absorbed the Spirit Orbs.
Until…
"There!"
I released and then absorbed everything within me, as my Aura erupted with an immense quantity of rainbow light. I opened my eyes in disbelief as I felt a gigantic surge of power.
And then, my Spirit Orb grew larger.
Twice, and then thrice as big.
It was enormous, a giant apple-sized sphere of pure crystalized divine spiritual energy within me.
And its energy coursed through my entire being, as I felt its power overflowing…
I felt so much stronger!
And so did all of my Vampire Spirits, as they quickly evolved once more automatically, while making any of those I summon now be of their same level too.
They were able to evolve right away thanks to the grimoire and the materials I had secured for their evolutions, using a lot of what I've harvested lately, they sure were strong.
But above all…
I looked at my Grimoire, even the Grimoire, which was also technically one of my Spirits, had changed, becoming golden red, with several glowing and colorful jewels, and thrice as big too.
It resembled a gigantic floating book rather than a regular sized one now…
"Good, very good."
I nodded, as I saw the notifications while constantly feeling my power grow exponentially as I got used to my new strength.
And indeed, I think I was able to achieve it!

From what I have learned, only a few mortals had ever achieved Rank 10, and they are all figures of Legends, but also well-known Gods across this world, most which I have never known due to how secret they are.
I am fairly sure that two of them live in here, the continent of dwarves Svartalfheim, the Architect and Mother Earth are both incredibly ancient Rank 10 Spirit Gods.
Yggdrasil was never a mortal, but it could be said to be included because she wasn't the same as the Holy Spirits, and did start at some point as a mortal Spirit Tree millions of years ago.
And then there's two other Spirit Beast Gods from the Continent of Beast People, Vanaheim…
Although they're quite interesting, they seem to be very secretive, and although I could probably force them to help me, I don't really need their help.
Nor am I really interested in meeting them either way.
And I am definitely not going to waste my time visiting yet another continent again, once I return to the Central Continent, that's it for intercontinental journeys.
However, I am indeed quite curious how they could- huh?
