Chapter 1476: Battle Against The Archdemon Of Sloth
-----
Upon reaching the depths of the Nightmare Realm, Blake was finally able to face the mastermind behind this entire incident, Belphegor, the Archdemon representing the Sin of Sloth, a lazy and yet cunning figure that employed the unique power over Nightmares and Dreams he possessed to take over countless living beings in a matter of days or weeks.
In the past, this evil Archdemon had managed to shroud entire star systems inside of his Black Fog, consuming the living beings' souls and vitality by letting them fall into eternal slumbers that they never woke up from.
And now, that monster had decided to step into Spiritias and finally expand his own Authority, perhaps he had done it so late because he was the laziest of the seven, or perhaps because he was afraid of Blake and targeted this far away continent in hopes for him noticing.
Nonetheless, despite that, he seemed quite confident, laughing at Blake for having "fallen into his trap" as he was now within his own Domain where he governed the laws of reality as the Nightmare Realm Master.
"You not only managed to get inside here without being affected, but it also didn't even work against your friends…"
His original plan, however, was to turn everyone here into toys he could easily destroy and break apart, but because of Blake's special barrier, that never ended up happening, the curse never entered their bodies nor transformed them into helpless toys, it seemed they could resist the reality-bending powers of the Nightmare Realm.
Nonetheless, he had supreme power over this Nightmare Realm, and his gigantic and intimidating appearance helped at cementing his authority and strength over the rest. With dark purple skin, a slender and gigantic body, shrouded on purple and pink clouds, and with a mask covering his face, Belphegor had always been among the most enigmatic figures within the Archdemons.
"I'm in awe… Ugh, do we really need to do this? You already sealed my whole body, not like I use it that much, I like sleeping but… do we? Can't we just get along and kill humans together?"
And now, Blake, or rather, Asmodeus, was now facing him a second time, this time, he had the means to truly end him, and he would, as he needed as much power as possible.
However, Belphegor seemed interested in some sort of wicked alliance, he didn't want to fight if possible, fully knowing the threat that Blake could be to his plans for growth.
"You willingly walked into my world, Asmodeus. Do you expect now to somehow defeat me? You're all below my rules… my little toys are just the beginning."
Belphegor thought he had won, that he could now do as he pleased with Asmodeus, but he was wrong, the confidence that Asmodeus exuded was seemingly endless.
"Yeah, I can tell you're powerful…" Blake said. "More than before… However." Belphegor glared back at him furiously, gritting his sharp teeth. "I have the light of the Morning Star within me."
"W-Wha…?!"
Belphegor's eyes widened, as he saw Blake's Aura of the Morning Star emerge from within his body and soul, shining so brightly that it twisted and weakened his own Nightmare Authority by merely being close to it.
This was not just a mere holy light spell or something… it was indeed what Blake claimed to be!
However, Belphegor couldn't simply believe it, such an almighty power only belonged to Lucifer and Lucifer alone, how come a human held it now?
Belphegor was unfortunately very outdated about what had been happening so far, especially to what had happened to Lucifer in these last months.
Perhaps Lucifer decided to keep it a secret, afraid of being laughed at by his fellow Demons, or perhaps afraid of losing their loyalty.
"That is… no, it cannot be! An illusion?! It has to be an illusion!"
Belphegor panicked, screaming angrily at Blake. He could not believe what he was seeing, thinking it was a trick, but deep down, the radiant and burning light, that power…
Even if it was but a mere fragment, it was the same divine power that God had given to Lucifer, a power that he could use to easily subdue Demons.
A power that even Belphegor and the other Archdemons greatly feared!
"Kill him! KILL HIM QUICKLY!"
Belphegor screamed in horror, as the giant toys rushed towards everyone, swinging their giant arms at them, constantly slamming the floor or trying to stomp them, beams of infernal flames came out from the toys' eyes, and nightmarish clouds tried to devour everyone's souls.
However, Blake's friends fought incredibly well, with special weapons that had been enchanted using the Morning Star's powers and Elizabeth's Holy Spirit Blessings combined, their weapons easily cleaved and cut through the demonic toy nightmare spirits, surprising Belphegor.
"You're going to need more than that to stop us!"
Blake rushed forward with Erika and Elizabeth by his side, rapidly fusing with Eleanora to power up, his body transforming into his Cosmic Spirit Draconification, and then absorbing the power of the Morning Star, as his hair turned red and blonde, overflowing with both holy, vampiric, and demonic power at once.
"Y-YOU WANT TO FIGHT?! I'LL GIVE YOU YOUR FIGHT!"
Belphegor screamed, as dozens of toys fused around his body, covering him on a huge set of colorful armor overflowing with nightmare power, and thousands of screaming souls.
"I'LL USE THE POWER OF ALL THE SOULS THAT HAVE BEEN OFFERED TO ME! CAN YOU FACE ME NOW?! IF YOU HIT ME, THEY'LL DIE!"
Belphegor screamed, manifesting hundreds of crimson eyes around him and firing powerful laser beams of concentrated demonic and nightmare energy, relying on Blake being "a good guy" that would hesitate to do that.
And yet…
"[Divine Spear God Arts]: {One Hundred Lightning Blows}!"
Electromagnetic Energy erupted from his Vessel, which had fused with the Neutonium Core he had created and fused into his own body, as his technique was amplified, a single blow was divided by a hundred, piercing through the giant eyes and destroying their lasers coming at him.
But above all…
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
"UUUUGH?!"
Belphegor vomited blood, as he saw lighting and holy light piercing his armor and shattering it into pieces, reaching his very body and soul…
