Chapter 1464: Having A Small Touristic Trip
-----
"Yeah, I might need some of your help, Cattalina," I nodded. "Your Dream Magic would be ideal to deal with Belphegor and reach him before he realizes I'm after him and escapes."
"Indeed… I suppose I'll do everything I can then," Cattalina nodded confidently. "This time for sure, I want to help you defeat an Archdemon."
"Y-You're really going against the demon behind this?!"
"You're truly brave…"
"Incredible…"
"Well, we'll stay here… waiting, haha…"
The nobles, with all their problems solved, laughed nervously as if they wanted us to leave their house already.
"You're seriously the worst, offer us lodging at least!" Alberta said angrily.
"I agree! You're too shameless! We've saved your lives, also offer the kids some good rewards, bastards," Hellburn said.
"R-Rewards?! But we're… we barely brought anything with us, Lord Hellburn!"
"I suppose I could pay you an hefty reward once everything is solved."
"I mean… sure."
"Good," I nodded. "Thank you for your cooperation then. Anyway, let's go inform the soldiers about this… also prepare for the formation, it should be done in an hour from now, I'll be needing everyone's help. The enchantments placed on your weapons were made to enhance the power and range of this formation we're building."
"Oh really? Well I guess we're helping more than I thought, I was sure we would let Elizabeth and Blake carry us through this," Chris shrugged.
"I mean, fighting dreams is kind of weird… my muscles are useless there, aren't they?" Erdrich wondered, rubbing his chin.
"Yeah, it's weird, but maybe you can bring your spirits and your spirit power along," Patricia said by his side. "Anyway, I'm feeling hungry, should we go eat something before we start the formation?"
"Sounds good to me," Erdrich nodded, smiling.
"I suppose you can disperse and explore the city," I nodded. "I guess I'll do the same while we wait for the formation to get done… Erika, Elizabeth, shall we go somewhere?"
"Sure! I was waiting for you to say that!" Erika nodded happily.
"Honestly, me too!" Elizabeth said.
"I guess I could show you around the place, Eric, just the two of us?" Alberta smiled.
"Ah, well, it's a date then!" Eric looked quite happy.
As everyone dispersed to spend some time alone, I noticed Chris and Elfriedden looking at one another once they realized they were left behind alone.
"Ah, I should've invited Rosenheim…" Elfriedden sighed.
"I might as well just bring my Spirits," Chris said, summoning them.
His Fox Spirit could now take an humanoid form, and she was very hyperactive, suddenly grabbing his hand and even that of Elfriedden, and running through the streets.
"W-Wait a second, hey!" Chris screamed.
"Chris control your creature! Aaaagh!" Elfriedden complained.
"Well, looks like they'll have their own fun," Erika smiled. "Where's Eleanora?"
"She's working right now, but don't worry about her," I said. "I'll have a date at night with her anyway."
"Oh well…" Elizabeth shrugged. "Shall we get going then?"
As we moved away, Hellburn stayed in the house with the nobles.
"I'll stay behind with them, so just have fun for once, kids, you've been working really hard lately after all!" he said with a smile.
"Thank you uncle!" Alberta said happily. "Let's go Eric! I kind of want to go to the beach, it's hot today right?"
"I mean yeah it's pretty hot…" Eric nodded. "But is it really necessary? I've never really liked going to the beach…"
"Aw, come on… Don't you want to see me wearing a… Um, a s-sexy swimsuit at least?" Alberta asked timidly, blushing a little.
"Oh?!" Eric's eyes widened, as his glasses gained a tiny crack. "I mean… if you insist! Hahah…"
"Nice! Let's go!" Alberta grabbed his hand and rushed to the beach.
"As for me, I have some business in the near Magician Guild," Cattalina said. "I got some old friends there I would like to meet once more… they could help us out with this whole ordeal."
"That would be perfect, thank you," I nodded.
"Very well then, Erika, my dear, have fun alright~" Cattalina patted Erika's head and kissed her forehead before departing, disappearing into a small explosion of pink smoke.
As everyone departed and I started walking through the busy streets with Erika and Elizabeth, I heard the girls giggling, talking about everyone else.
"It's funny… I remember Alberta being much more timid before, hehe," Erika laughed. "Now she's really going for Eric, huh?"
"Yeah… well, Eric has changed a lot, he was also very shy before, right?" Elizabeth wondered.
"Hm, both have grown quite a lot, thanks to having each other," I nodded. "Just like we have."
"Yep~!" Erika smiled, as she approached my face and kissed me. "Let's go explore and then eat!"
"Sure," I said, patting her head.
Like that, we spent the next few hours exploring the city and its various places, from large Market Places, to shops, restaurants, and more. We tried out the local food, which was pretty good, the dwarves seemed to enjoy meat and carbohydrates the most, very different from elves who mostly ate vegetables, fruits, and fish.
We finished the day by walking into the beach, there was a lot of people there, and we ended seeing Alberta and Eric walking around, both seemed to be enjoying their date, and Alberta was indeed wearing a revealing swimsuit…
"Hmm, the water is nice here! I never expected that there would be such a nice beach in the place where Dwarves live," Erika said, carrying her sandals while walking over the water.
"It's quite refreshing indeed… especially with this heat," Elizabeth nodded. "I thought their continent was colder… but I was wrong, this place is really hot…"
"I've heard that near the capital it gets colder as there's a lot of snow-covered mountains," I said. "Hmm, it should be good by now… let's regroup and start the formation then."
"Alright!" Erika nodded.
"Let's go then," Elizabeth agreed.
Before moving to the city though, I had to wash their feet, as they were covered in sand. I used some simple water attribute magic spell and then a wind attribute spell to dry them with a warm gust.
