Chapter 1226: Bimbi's Power!
-----
"GRUOOOHHHHH!"
The aberration left behind from the Saurian King continued attacking, tentacles merged with claws emerging from the ground, constantly attacking Blake from every angle.
Bravelion modified what was left of the robot's torso, creating a smaller body and then narrowly escaping its demise.
CRASH!
As it escaped, it began jumping around, unable to fly anymore due to the lack of energy reserves. Blake opened the inventory, grabbing the Neutonium core shards he had mined from the Mother Cores he found before, and began pouring them into Bravelion.
However, for some reason the robot wasn't taking them, it seemed too damaged, unable to completely absorb things, it required something more.
The Golden Pearls of Bonds had also become grayer, out of energy completely…!
In that moment, the Neutonium Core Mother had told Blake to just give up and try again, after all, this was all a virtual simulation and held no true value.
Yeah, maybe it had no true value, maybe it was a simulation…
But wasn't the entire Trial as a whole a simulation as well?
What was real, and what was not… it seemed to become more and more complex.
The Neutonium Mother Core simply had no idea she was within a trial, perhaps not even a completely real existence anymore.
"Even if you die here it doesn't really matter much, isn't it? I would rather preserve my energies, just try again once you respawn."
"But Bimbi will die! And the rest of the city could be destroyed too…!"
"And so? They're only simulations, programs. It doesn't matter. It's not the same as real human lives."
And maybe Blake would've agreed with her before, but not now…
Not after Braveblitz died for him, and not after he lend on his heart to Drake.
Now that the self-proclaimed hero of justice and protector of humanity lived within his heart…
Despite how much he hated the idea, Blake had no choice but to fight.
Bimbi could be merely a program, but so what?
She was a living being within this program, a world on its own.
"You can't say something like that after acting all emotional before…"
"Why though? Why do you want to save these people so much? I assumed you were someone much colder and calculative, Blake?"
"That's because… Because…!"
"Because that's what Braveblitz would have wanted…! We can't give up! Dammit!"
The value of all things is the same as the amount of emotional attachment and care we give to it.
Even things that are digital could hold tremendous meaning to someone, even when they could never truly touch them, or feel them.
"Big brother…"
And Bimbi felt it, Blake's emotions, his heart mixed with Braveblitz, and Bravelion's resolve to survive with them.
She thought she was nothing but a powerless girl.
She was wrong.
A core within her chest glowed brightly, she wasn't powerless!
Her eyes glowed with bright golden light.
As the tiny little core in her chest, a core every person of her tribe of Mutant People possessed, glowed.
Hers was slightly different, there was something within her own core that resonated too well with her emotions.
An exceptional talent, which awakened the moment she felt like her Bond with Blake became stronger.
Your next chapter is on My Virtual Library Empire
"You're right, big brother!"
CRASH!
RUMBLE!
The aberration kept pursuing them…
"Bimbi?"
"We can't give up! We haven't done everything yet…!"
FLASH!
"T-That's…!"
Blake's eyes widened, as he saw the golden light coming from the horned girl's chest.
"I believe in you! And I believe in the Metal God! Let me help… even if my light is so small, I want to do something too!"
"You're…?!"
"I want to help my people… and big sister that saved me…!"
The girl continued crying, the light from her chest only became stronger.
"And I… I don't any more people to die pointlessly!"
FLAAASH!
The cry of a little girl echoed through the heavens and the ground.
Bravelion's heart and soul resonated with it.
The grayed Golden Pearls of Bonds glowed brightly once more.
Her golden light rushed through Bravelion's entire body.
His circuits glowed bright gold.
His entire metallic body became larger…
"GRUOOOOHHH!"
The mutant approached them, the aberration that represented the deepest fears of the Beast People of this Jungle.
The one that brought down their entire peace and harmony with nature…
The one that destroyed their villages and burned their people!
"I don't want to be weak anymore…! I don't want to let everyone die!"
RUMBLE!
"T-This is…?! I can't believe it!"
Blake was utterly shocked.
To think this little and frail girl he had barely saved.
Would be this strong.
Her core, it resonated too well with the pearls!
But this wasn't just coincidence.
"GRAAARRRGGHH!"
The monstrosity continued approaching, its massive claws rushing down.
The Spirit of Braveblitz surged within Blake's heart.
And he understood that sometimes people will fight no matter the odds.
Even if its impossible, even if it's stupid.
Just like he did when he battled Lucifer, to make a better Universe.
"You called yourself a villain and a great tyrannical emperor…" laughed Braveblitz's voice within Blake's mind. "But weren't you quite the hero, Blake? Or should I call you Asmodeus too, haha!"
Since he was but a child that Asmodeus always wished to change the world.
His upbringing in the middle of trash.
His harsh survival…
Did he ever wanted to make those like him suffer?
Not at all…
The only thing he wanted was retribution.
This girl, Bimbi…
She held a similar, yet more honest heart than him.
"You're right, Bimbi!"
Blake's clothes glowed bright gold out of nowhere.
And so did Bimbi's!
Their clothes changed, becoming glorious white clothes with golden armor.
They even had helmets, with V-shaped glass covering their eyes.
"We have to fight until the bitter end!"
"Let's do it!!!"
Bravelion's little body jumped off the torso that was already falling apart.
Its entire red color changed, becoming pure gold.
And then, its little arm aimed at the aberration.
Rapidly transforming into a massive, golden mechanical arm, fueled with tremendous quantities of light!
BAAAAM!
And it punched right through the aberration's massive body, sending it flying away.
Above the skies, the white-haired man's eyes widened, glancing at the scene in utter disbelief.
"W-Wha… What is that power?!"
