Urban Wolf King

Chapter 471: First Victory

Upon hearing Wang Yan casually tell Ma Jun to bring over all the swords, as if the two hundred Japanese Samurai before him were mere puppets, Lin Hai and the others were utterly stunned.

Toyota Shouzou couldn't help but roar with anger: "Bastard! How dare you ignore us Japanese Samurai? Everyone, move forward together and hack these dozens of people into pieces."

With Toyota Shouzou's command issued, the more than two hundred Japanese Samurai immediately charged forward, raising their Samurai Swords high, rushing towards Wang Yan and his group.

In the narrow valley, the two hundred Japanese Samurai formed a dense crowd, with the only visible sight being the gleaming Samurai Swords, flashing dazzlingly.

Lin Hai and the others were immediately terrified by the momentum; they quickly raised their hands and each seized a Samurai Sword from Ma Jun's hand to confront the Japanese Samurai.

Although they now possessed weapons, Lin Hai and the others only had ten swords among them, leaving more than twenty of their group empty-handed. Even if they all had weapons, they were merely thirty-some people, while the Japanese Samurai numbered two hundred.

Thus, though Lin Hai and the others charged forward, they all harbored a feeling of impending doom.

Kill one, gain one; in any case, the final result would be their own deaths.

As the two hundred-plus Japanese Samurai rushed to their front, Lin Hai and Bull yelled out and swung their Samurai Swords, charging in as well.

The ten Samurai Swords poised to clash with the two hundred on the opposing side.

At this moment, Wang Yan calmly said: "Ma Jun."

As Wang Yan spoke these words, a dark figure flashed past the two hundred-plus Japanese Samurai.

No one could clearly see what this figure was, but as it passed, the Samurai Swords in the Japanese Samurai's hands all fell to the ground.

Only the sound of "clang, clang" continually echoed, and in the blink of an eye, all two hundred-plus Samurai Swords had fallen to the ground.

The speed at which this shadow moved was exceedingly fast; Lin Hai and the others were raising their Samurai Swords high, about to clash with those of the Japanese Samurai, but just as the blades were about to collide, the swords held by the Japanese Samurai fell to the ground, and each stood there dumbfounded, yet to understand why their swords had dropped.

Not only were the Japanese Samurai caught off guard, but even Lin Hai and the others were astonished.

The swords in their hands were meant to slash at the opponent's swords, but with one chop, they struck empty air. Nonetheless, they couldn't retract their swords and continued to swing down.

And so the Japanese Samurai across from them stood dazed, as if waiting for Lin Hai and the others to strike.

Only the sound of "thud, thud" could be heard, as all of Lin Hai and his group's swords struck the Japanese Samurai.

Some of the ten blades cut into the wrists of the Japanese Samurai, others pierced their shoulders, and wherever the blades landed, blood flowed freely.

The ten injured Japanese Samurai let out cries of pain and quickly retreated.

The sudden appearance of blood and cries of pain, coupled with these ten people retreating, immediately startled more than a hundred other Japanese Samurai, and with their swords inexplicably fallen to the ground, these hundred-plus Samurai were confused and retreated as well.

In an instant, the two hundred-plus Japanese Samurai were in disarray, stepping on and colliding with one another.

Though only ten were initially wounded by Lin Hai and the others, in the chaos, more than twenty were injured, with limbs either broken from being stepped on or crushed.

Lin Hai and his ten comrades stood stupefied holding their Samurai Swords, not comprehending how they, ten against two hundred, managed to win.

However, upon seeing the Samurai Swords at their feet, Lin Hai and the others immediately understood. They quickly turned to look in the direction where the shadow had flashed.

There, in the direction of the shadow, stood Ma Jun.

Finally, everyone realized it was Ma Jun who had snatched away the two hundred Samurai Swords.

Thinking of this, Lin Hai and the others were greatly astonished by Ma Jun's speed, which was simply inhuman. Had they not witnessed it themselves, they could hardly believe such terrifying speed could exist.

Immediately, Lin Hai retracted his Samurai Sword and said to Ma Jun: "Ma...Ma classmate, I really had no idea you are a Martial Arts Master. Please forgive my ignorance."

To Lin Hai and the others, anyone possessing such speed must be a Martial Arts Master from the world of martial arts fiction, possibly skilled in the techniques of the Wave-riding Step, hence such incredible speed.

Ma Jun hurriedly said: "Teacher Lin Hai, I'm no Martial Arts Master. You're too kind."

The more Ma Jun said this, the more Lin Hai thought Ma Jun was unfathomable. Immediately the others picked up the Samurai Swords from the ground, holding them firmly, clustering around Ma Jun, their relief palpable.

Lin Hai turned to Wang Yan and said: "Student Wang Yan, with a Martial Arts Master like Ma Jun, we are certain to win this fight."

Wang Yan smiled slightly and said: "Indeed, as long as everyone's spirits are high, no enemy can stop us."

"That's right, wherever I venture, who dares to block me? Although the Japanese Samurai have numbers, they hold no terror."

It was only at this moment that Lin Hai and the others truly felt emboldened.

Upon seeing this, Toyota Shouzou's face filled with anger, looking at the chaotic group of Japanese Samurai and cursing: "A bunch of fools, frightened by this and retreating, truly disgracing the Toyota Family. When you return, all of you must commit seppuku."

These two hundred-plus Japanese Samurai were, in fact, bloodthirsty killers; their defeat was purely due to being startled by Ma Jun suddenly taking the Samurai Swords. But upon hearing Toyota Shouzou's reprimand, the Samurai immediately regained their composure, each hurriedly standing up from the ground.

Though more than thirty were injured and retreated to the rear, the remaining hundred-plus were still unscathed.

Toyota Shouzou snorted coldly, stepped forward, and pointed at Ma Jun, saying: "Kid, I didn't expect you to be a Demon Cultivator. Come over, I want to duel with you."

Lin Hai and the others didn't understand what Toyota Shouzou meant by Demon Cultivator, so Lin Hai raised his Samurai Sword and said to Toyota Shouzou: "Ma Jun is a Martial Arts Master and would never stoop to your level. If there's fighting to be done, I'll be your opponent first."

Toyota Shouzou didn't even look at Lin Hai, coldly saying: "You're not qualified."

Furious, Lin Hai raised his Samurai Sword, shouted, and charged at Toyota Shouzou.

Being skilled in free fighting, Lin Hai rushed forward, his speed swift and moves powerful, his Samurai Sword swung to blockade Toyota Shouzou's every escape route.

This move demonstrated Lin Hai's considerable martial prowess.

Yet Toyota Shouzou didn't even glance at Lin Hai, and as the Samurai Sword neared, Toyota Shouzou's body flickered, suddenly disappearing before Lin Hai's eyes.

Stunned, Lin Hai's blade fell into empty space; he quickly retracted his sword and looked around but saw no trace of Toyota Shouzou.

At that instant, suddenly Toyota Shouzou appeared before Lin Hai.

As Toyota Shouzou appeared, he held a Samurai Sword in his hand and aimed it at Lin Hai's unsuspecting throat.
