Chapter 490: Xiang Yu's Blood is Hard to Find
Xiang Yu had fallen into a coma due to excessive blood loss and urgently needed a transfusion. Liu Yuhang took some blood from Xiang Yu's back, handed it to someone beside him, and instructed him to get it tested quickly.
Meanwhile, Liu Yuhang began to slowly clean Xiang Yu's wounds. He washed them very gently, afraid to cause any more pain.
After about ten minutes of cleaning, Xiang Yu's back was fully exposed, revealing a blood-drenched character 'wrong'.
Tie Zhuzi, standing to the side, clenched his fists so hard that his fingernails pierced his flesh without him even realizing it.
Xiao Xuan walked over and patted his shoulder, saying, "Don't worry, we will definitely avenge this."
Tie Zhuzi moved his shoulder to shake off Xiao Xuan's hand. He was in a bad mood and not in a state to listen to anyone's consolation.
After washing the wounds with saline, Liu Yuhang was faced with a dilemma since Xiang Yu had not woken up. He turned to Tie Zhuzi and said, "There's a problem now."
"What problem?" Tie Zhuzi demanded, his eyes bloodshot.
"Since Brother Yu's injury is fresh, I can erase the character, but it will be extremely painful," Liu Yuhang explained.
"You're saying it won't leave a scar?" Tie Zhuzi quickly walked up with Xiao Xuan to ask.
Liu Yuhang nodded but did not speak, as he had already made it clear it would be painful.
"What if you remove all the scars from Brother Yu's body?" Tie Zhuzi sounded excited at the possibility.
Liu Yuhang shook his head and sighed, "I can only remove the new wounds. The old ones have scabbed over; there's nothing I can do."
Tie Zhuzi felt uncertain about making the decision on his own, so he looked to Xiao Xuan. They didn't want to cause Xiang Yu more pain when he was already suffering so much.
But if they didn't remove it, it would be a lifelong disgrace for Xiang Yu.
"If you can remove it, then go ahead and do it. I think if Brother Yu were awake, he would certainly want it removed," Xiao Xuan decided resolutely.
All three looked at each other and then nodded in agreement.
Just then, one of them came running over, saying, "His blood is 'panda blood,' rare for most people."
"What?" Liu Yuhang immediately became anxious. If everything was prepared, but Xiang Yu died due to a lack of blood, that would be a disastrous joke.
"What's 'panda blood'?" Tie Zhuzi asked, not understanding, but realizing the severity of the issue from their expressions.
"There's no time to explain," Liu Yuhang said before jotting down the blood type on a piece of paper and handing it to Tie Zhuzi, "Go to the hospital or blood bank to buy blood now, and hurry."
Tie Zhuzi took the note, looked at it, and then nodded before rushing off. Liu Yuhang felt helpless, pacing around anxiously.
"First, remove that character from my brother," Xiao Xuan said, standing there.
"Right now, Brother Yu is lacking blood. I'm afraid he won't survive the removal of the character," Liu Yuhang said worriedly because not leaving a scar is a very painful process even for a normal person.
"Brother's endurance is beyond what an average person can achieve, don't worry," Xiao Xuan had confidence in Xiang Yu.
Seeing Xiao Xuan's insistence, Liu Yuhang prepared the medication and then took a sterilized scalpel. He carefully cut into Xiang Yu's back and sprinkled medicine on it.
Liu Yuhang was very careful, proceeding bit by bit. The medicine he sprinkled on Xiang Yu's body was quickly absorbed and dissolved.
Throughout the process, Xiang Yu did not wake up but his body twitched and trembled as if convulsing.
After finishing, Liu Yuhang wrapped Xiang Yu's body with a bandage, cocooning him like a silkworm.
Xiao Xuan was also a bit nervous; he had thought it would be much more complicated than just applying some medicine.
Liu Yuhang saw the change in Xiao Xuan's face and then said, "It hasn't started yet; the real pain will come after Yuhang wakes up."
After sorting everything out, they waited anxiously for Tie Zhuzi to return. As long as he could bring back blood, there shouldn't be much of an issue for Xiang Yu.
However, the blood in Xiang Yu's veins was the "panda" of panda blood, a type so rare that it is not just expensive; it is difficult to purchase with money, being one-of-a-kind.
Xiang Yu lay there with a pale face, but reassuringly, his breathing was still even.
Seeing that Tie Zhuzi hadn't returned, Xiao Xuan called Wang Ze and his group, urging them to find out whatever they could about this type of blood.
Time ticked away second by second, and by eight o'clock in the evening, there was still no news. At that moment, Xiang Yu suddenly stirred and awoke.
"Bro, Yuhang." Xiao Xuan and Liu Yuhang had been sitting on the side, and they quickly came over when they saw Xiang Yu wake up.
After waking up, Xiang Yu gritted his teeth and then looked at Liu Yuhang, "What medicine did you put on me? It's so painful, like my skin is being peeled off."
Liu Yuhang could only offer an awkward smile, then looked at Xiao Xuan.
"Bro, please bear with it a little longer. This medicine will prevent scars on your back," Xiao Xuan explained.
Xiang Yu waved his hand to signal him to stop talking. Even though it was very painful, he could bear it.
"Zhuzi?" Xiang Yu said as he sat up.
Liu Yuhang was speechless at Xiang Yu's reaction. An average person would be crying and screaming for their mother, but Xiang Yu just pursed his lips slightly. His endurance was incredibly abnormal. Liu Yuhang even began to doubt if his medicine had failed.
"Yuhang, can you not feel the pain?" Liu Yuhang asked sceptically.
"It hurts like hell," Xiang Yu said calmly.
That sentence, coming from Xiang Yu's mouth, sounded odd. It's supposed to hurt like hell, yet Xiang Yu was so composed.
Xiao Xuan briefed Xiang Yu on everything that had happened since he fainted. Upon knowing Tie Zhuzi had gone out to find blood for him, Xiang Yu looked at Xiao Xuan and said, "Call Zhuzi back. There's no need to look anymore."
"But..."
Liu Yuhang was about to say something when Xiang Yu raised his hand to stop him, "I'm fine, don't worry."
Seeing Xiang Yu so insistent, Liu Yuhang didn't say more and went to pour him a glass of water.
Xiao Xuan quickly called Tie Zhuzi, telling him to come back. Over the phone came shouts as if Tie Zhuzi was fighting with someone.
About an hour later, Tie Zhuzi returned, his face a mix of anger and dejection, with an added injury.
He was happy to see Xiang Yu awake, but felt downcast since he had failed to get the blood.
"I went to the blood station to find blood, and those bastards said they didn't have the type. I gave them a beating, but after half a day, I still hadn't found any," Tie Zhuzi said with an awkward smile to Xiang Yu.
"Don't move," Liu Yuhang said as he applied medicine to Tie Zhuzi's face.
Xiang Yu could only shake his head helplessly, "You all don't have to worry. I have plenty of blood in me; it won't run out."
After watching Liu Yuhang finish applying medicine to Tie Zhuzi, Xiang Yu stood up and said, "Let's go, it's time to head back to headquarters."
"But your injuries..." Xiao Xuan said, obviously worried.
"These wounds are nothing. Let's go, set off..."
