Safety first, he thought to himself. He intended to test it out initially.

He had already targeted one of the Cosmic Ghosts positioned near the topmost section and approached cautiously.

Since the ghosts seemed drawn to the mysterious force below and were unwilling to leave, he decided to test whether they could perform Earth Escape and chase after him.

If they could, he'd retreat and come up with another plan.
