Chapter 214: Affection in the Bedroom
"Let's go! Go upstairs and meet your senior brothers and sisters!" the Boxing King said, taking the lead and walking out.
They arrived at the second floor of the small western-style building.
"Boxer!" Several people greeted the Boxing King respectfully.
Their respect came from the heart, not merely because of the Boxing King's prowess.
The Boxing King was a bit hot-tempered, but it seemed his abilities were unquestionable. Otherwise, why would the disciples respect him so deeply from their hearts? At this moment, Zhu Bufan felt a renewed sense of awe towards the Boxing King.
"How did you all fare on your trip out?" The Boxing King waved his hand, indicating that the four need not be overly formal.
"Not bad, Boxer," replied a man who stepped forward—likely the leader of the four, the so-called eldest senior brother.
"Okay!" the Boxing King nodded without asking for details. Then, pointing at Zhu Bufan, he added, "From now on, he will be my fifth student this year, your junior brother."
"Zhu Bufan, come, introduce yourself!" the Boxing King continued.
"Hello everyone, I am Zhu Bufan, 'Zhu' as in double wood, 'Bufan' as in morning. I'm not very strong and I'm not good with words. Please look after me, my senior brothers and sisters," said Zhu Bufan stepping forward with a bow, his attitude very sincere.
"Zhu Bufan, you should get to know your senior brothers and sisters better this afternoon. By the way, now that you know the way, you can move your belongings here later," said the Boxing King right after Zhu Bufan had finished, "Zhou Xin, you handle the specifics."
"Okay, Boxer," Zhou Xin replied.
After the Boxing King had spoken, he walked out quickly as if there were something urgent.
After the Boxing King left, two women came up to surround Zhu Bufan.
"Junior brother, you say you're weak and not good with words, but I don't believe that! By the way, I'm your senior sister, Yan Hong," Yan Hong started speaking to Zhu Bufan.
Zhu Bufan responded: "Hello Senior Sister Yan Hong."
"Luoluo... Junior brother, with such sweet words, and yet you claim to be poor at speaking," Yan Hong Luoluo laughed, even patting Zhu Bufan's head, which he found quite annoying, but he couldn't say much and just gave an awkward smile.
Seeing Zhu Bufan's awkward smile, Yan Hong's laughter grew even brighter.
Yan Hong appeared to be in her mid-thirties, quite flamboyant, evident from her brightly red outfit.
The other woman seemed more tranquil. She had only joined because Yan Hong had pulled her; she looked about Zhu Bufan's age. Yet, her face bore the marks of hardship, suggesting that life here wasn't exactly simple.
"I'm Feng Xue, junior brother Zhu Bufan," Feng Xue briefly introduced herself and then fell silent again, just smiling slightly when Zhu Bufan called her 'Senior Sister Xue'.
Besides Zhou Xin, the other one was named Wen Yiyang.
When Wen Yiyang introduced himself, Zhu Bufan unconsciously asked if he was related to Wen Yang.
However, from Wen Yiyang's puzzled look and his clueless expression, Zhu Bufan realized there was no connection.
Yet, the name reminded Zhu Bufan that he still had Wen Yang's car and hadn't returned it. Guilt flashed through his mind because even though others might not need it, the car was still someone else's and he had it for quite some time now.
Then Zhu Bufan thought of Yan'er's cute plump face, Li Leye, and Xiao Lan, silently asking himself: "Are you all doing okay?"
Seeing the longing for family in Zhu Bufan's eyes, Yan Hong patted his shoulder generously:
"Little junior brother, don't be sad, from now on your senior sister Yan Hong will take care of you."
"Thank you, senior sister." Zhu Bufan replied.
After Zhu Bufan got acquainted with four people, Zhou Xin directly spoke to Zhu Bufan: "Let's go get your things now, and then I'll show you around our training ground!"
"Okay!" Zhu Bufan replied cheerfully.
Then, after bidding farewell to Yan Hong and the other two, Zhu Bufan left with Zhou Xin.
When Zhu Bufan and Zhou Xin came back to the dormitory where he initially stayed, they saw Bao Qiri, Guang Jinqian, and Mo Jianwai already sitting on their own beds.
The three of them didn't start packing their things; they were sitting on their beds, seemingly waiting for Zhu Bufan.
When they saw Zhu Bufan had arrived, each of them quickly got up and approached him.
"What are you guys doing?" Zhu Bufan asked, somewhat puzzled by the three approaching him.
"Zhu Bufan, we are roommates after all! Now that our dorm is being split up, shouldn't we gather together? So, we've decided that tonight, we should have a good drink together," Mo Jianwai said.
The other two agreed.
No wonder the small table was full of beer; it was all planned by these three guys.
Zhu Bufan didn't immediately respond to the three and awkwardly turned to look at Zhou Xin.
"Zhu Bufan, since it's like this, you don't have to go to the Boxer's place tonight, I'll come over tomorrow morning to take you there," Zhou Xin glanced at the three men and the table full of beer before he spoke.
"Brother Zhou, maybe join us?" Zhu Bufan cautiously asked.
He noticed that Zhou Xin seemed a bit off.
"Zhu Bufan, cherish the friendship you guys have, I won't disturb you, I'm leaving now." Zhou Xin refused Zhu Bufan's invitation, then turned around and left without waiting for a response.
Watching Zhou Xin's lonely departing figure, Zhu Bufan knew that deep in Zhou Xin's heart, there must be something sentimental.
Honestly, Zhu Bufan felt sentimental too. He remembered his college roommates; he had never thought that so many years had passed since he left school, yet today he was experiencing the dorm feeling again.
Just now, if Zhou Xin hadn't agreed, Zhu Bufan would have strongly insisted, even though he had only stayed in this dormitory for a few days, he, Zhu Bufan, would want to finish this last dormitory drink.
The night, like a shroud, quickly enveloped Dragon Valley.
The dormitory where Bao Qiri, Guang Jinqian, Mo Jianwai, and Zhu Bufan were, was now tightly closed, and at this moment, each held a beer bottle, gathered around a bed, watching a mobile phone.
Occasionally, they reached to the small table for peanuts, pig's ears, and other cold dishes, tossing them into their mouths, taking large swigs of beer intermittently.
At this moment, Zhu Bufan was sandwiched between Bao Qiri and Mo Jianwai; he had no choice but to watch the scenes playing on the mobile phone.
At that time, all kinds of moaning sounds filled the dorm room.
