Chapter 161: Dazzled
"Kid, tell me! How do we play?" the burly man shouted at Zhu Bufan without any courtesy.
Meanwhile, Zhou Fen looked at Zhu Bufan with a calm face, thinking, "You're trash, trying to pull tricks?"
Zhu Bufan didn't mind and chuckled, "Actually, it's very simple. All three of you roll the dice together, then open them together, comparing the total of the dice, and each person must bet five billion each time. As for tying in the total points of the dice, I don't believe that will happen."
The three of them gasped in shock, five billion just to start, do you think this money is paper!
However, no one raised any objections. They each had their own calculations in mind, so no one spoke up.
"This game depends on luck and rolling technique, you can roll the dice yourself or have someone beside you help, as long as you can put up five billion chips each time. Basically, that's it, what do you three think?" Zhu Bufan continued.
"I have no objections!" Wen Yang was the first to reply.
Zhou Fen pondered for a while, then also spoke, "I have no objections!"
The burly man looked somewhat embarrassed; he knew that Zhou Fen was a master in dice games, while he himself had nothing, suddenly unsure about continuing the game. He had already won nearly ten billion, if he stopped now, he could easily gain ten billion, but with this gambling method of five billion per game, if he won once, he could immediately gain another ten billion, which was a huge multiplier compared to what he had won over the night.
Thus, the burly man was torn, unsure whether to continue. Thinking about how the risk and reward were proportional, he thought, "Screw it, I'll gamble."
"I have no objections either," the burly man finally said after hesitating for a while.
"Alright, since everyone agrees, let's begin then!" Zhu Bufan said. He also had the waiter bring over two sets of dice.
Seeing Zhu Bufan do this, Zhou Fen smirked internally, "Kid, wait and see how you'll lose big."
He had that ugly man, and Zhou Fen was actually thrilled about such a game setup; it was practically lying down to win money!
"Mmm, let's start! It's more exciting this way, right? Young Master Wen." Zhou Fen said.
"Come on, Zhou Fen, you help me roll," Zhou Fen said to Wen Yang after turning his head to that ugly man.
"Alright, cousin!" the ugly man replied.
He didn't hesitate, grabbing the dice shaker directly, and coolly performed a commonly seen trick from TV shows: placing the dice on the table, he swiftly scooped the dice into the shaker and began to roll.
The burly man went about it more straightforwardly, simply picking up the dice and tossing them into the shaker to roll, lacking the skills of the ugly man, Zhou Fen.
Wen Yang looked at Zhu Bufan, seemingly asking whether he or Zhu Bufan should roll.
"Wen Yang, go ahead and roll, I trust you'll have good luck," Zhu Bufan said directly.
"Mmm! I believe so too," Wen Yang nodded and replied.
Then, he too, just like the burly man, grabbed the dice and tossed them into the shaker, starting to roll.
After two or three minutes.
The burly man was the first to say he was done, followed by the ugly man, and lastly, Wen Yang.
Wen Yang originally wanted to be the first to stop shaking the dice, but Zhu Bufan told him to stop last and to do so about a minute after the ugly man stopped shaking.
Wen Yang had no choice but to keep rolling.
The reason Zhu Bufan instructed Wen Yang to do so was to give the ugly man a chance to hear the total number of points on the dice when Wen Yang finally stopped shaking.
Since it's the total sum, with three dice, of course, three sixes are the biggest.
In an instant, Supreme Eyes activated, and saw that the ugly man really rolled three sixes, and the burly man wasn't bad either, having rolled two fives and a six, while Wen Yang only rolled a one-two-three.
Zhu Bufan was speechless; this wasn't like playing a straight flush, really, rolling a one-two-three, what was he thinking!
"Cough cough, everyone's done rolling, let's put out the bets!" Zhou Fen coughed twice and said.
After he finished speaking, he pushed the chips out directly.
The burly man didn't hesitate, pushing his chips out as well.
Wen Yang also pushed his chips out without any hesitation.
"Alright, everyone has rolled, and the bets are placed, so I'll count down three, two, one, and we reveal together, how does that sound?" Zhou Fen, looking at the 1.5 billion chips on the table, said with sparkling eyes.
"No problem!" Wen Yang said nonchalantly.
"Let's reveal!" The burly man, seeing the pile of chips, almost drooled, eager and impatient, said as if all of it would become his.
"Alright, three, two, one, reveal!" Zhou Fen shouted.
"Eh, what's going on?" The ugly man lifted the dice cup and his eyes, full of disbelief, stared at the three dice he had rolled, muttering to himself.
Zhou Fen originally had a smile, but when he heard his cousin speaking, he frowned, "What's wrong?"
First, he didn't choose to check his own dice but looked directly at the dice next to Wen Yang.
"What?" With that look, Zhou Fen's eyes widened because he saw that Wen Yang had rolled three sixes.
He was very shocked, unable to believe it.
Then he looked at his own dice.
"One, two, three."
He glanced again at the burly man's dice. Five-five-six.
Suddenly, he couldn't sit still anymore and stood up.
"Zhou Fen, what the fuck is going on?" Zhou Fen stood up and yelled furiously at the ugly man, Zhou Fen.
"Old... cousin, I also don't know what's going on!" The ugly man, seeing Zhou Fen's fierce eyes, replied tremblingly.
"Hmph! Don't know what's going on, you fucking rolled the smallest number possible. Still have the audacity to tell me you don't know what's going on, I think you're looking for death!" Zhou Fen snorted coldly.
"Please, cousin! I really don't know what's going on!" The ugly man, Zhou Fen, looked pitiful and pleaded.
The burly man was also stupefied; he thought he would win having rolled a five-five-six and seeing Zhou Fen's one-two-three, he even laughed secretly. But then he turned his head and saw Wen Yang's dice, and his eyes nearly popped out.
Three sixes, what the hell, did Wen Yang touch some woman's ass or what, how suddenly he rolled goddamn three sixes, fuck, am I seeing things!
Rubbing his eyes, and taking a closer look, his face instantly turned the color of liver.
Similarly, Zhou Fen's expression became ominously dark.
This round, Wen Yang won, suddenly winning back ten billion, adding to what was previously there, for a total gain of about thirteen billion. Zhou Fen felt immensely infuriated inside, because he knew this must be Zhu Bufan's doing, the kid who popped up out of nowhere, casting a Killing Intent-filled glance at Zhu Bufan in an instant.
