SUPERS LOUNGE

This was the go-to spot for Jameson and his friends, Jordan Styles and Freddie Stone. Located inside the college, it was their own personal haven, equipped with everything they needed to relax and have a good time. From the game room to the cinema, and even a fully stocked bar, this place had it all.

Jameson stormed in, his face a picture of fury. His friends were in the middle of a game of snooker, but they immediately stopped when they saw him. He sat down at the table, his eyes fixed on the floor, and chugged the alcohol in front of him.

"You told me something on the phone, but I believe I wasn't hearing well. Can you tell me again?" Jordan asked, concern etched on his face.

"It's exactly what you hear. I just got married today. I mean, look at what I'm wearing," Jameson said, his voice laced with disgust.

"How the hell did that happen?" Freddie asked, his eyes wide with surprise.

"I don't know, man. She's like a bethroat or something, and they just rushed everything," Jameson replied, his anger boiling over.

"Is she pretty?" Jordan asked, and Jameson glared at him.

"Why didn't you invite us?" Freddie asked, his brow furrowed in concern.

"They wanted it to be private. Nobody will even know except you guys," Jameson said, his voice dripping with resentment.

"What about Victoria?" Jordan asked, his eyes narrowing.

"She's okay with it since I'll be divorcing her soon. You know that girl is her younger sister," Jameson said, his face twisted in disgust.

"That's crazy," Freddie exclaimed.

"That girl, I hate her with everything in me," Jameson growled, his anger radiating off him.

"Calm down, man. It's not her fault too. I think you should blame your parents," Freddie said, his voice softening.

"You should drink up. You really need this," Jordan said, serving him more alcohol.

Jameson downed the drink in one gulp, feeling the burn all the way down. He was still angry, but the alcohol was starting to numb the pain.

"Ma'am, we have arrived" The driver's voice snapped Lexi out of her thoughts, she quickly came out of the car.

As Lexi entered the mansion, she was struck by its grandeur. The high ceilings, the crystal chandeliers, and the lavish furnishings all screamed opulence. But Lexi was too tired and hungry to appreciate the beauty around her. She saw a woman standing in front of her with a smile.

"I am Theresa, your new maid" The woman introduced.

"Nice to me you" Lexi said and bowed respectfully.

"Let me take you to your room" Theresa said and Lexi nodded.

She was led upstairs to her room, which was surprisingly beautiful. The bed was a massive four-poster, adorned with delicate lace and soft cushions. The room was tastefully decorated in shades of pale blue and cream, with intricate patterns on the walls and floor.

"You can shower I will make dinner for you" Theresa said and she nodded in gratitude and watch the elderly leave her room, she came out of her huge wedding gown and went into the bathroom.

The bathroom. It was a sight to behold. The bathtub was a massive, circular affair, with jets and bubbles that seemed to dance in the water. The sink was a beautiful, antique piece, with delicate carvings and a soft, glowing light. The shower was a walk-in, glass-enclosed space, with multiple jets and a rainfall showerhead.

Lexi couldn't resist the temptation of the bathtub. She filled it with warm water and added some bubbles, then sank in with a sigh of relief. The water was like silk against her skin, and the bubbles tickled her nose. She closed her eyes and let out a deep breath, feeling her muscles relax and her mind unwind.

As she soaked in the bathtub, Lexi's mind began to wander. She thought about her childhood, about the happy times and the sad.

She came out of the bathroom in just a towel, she went into the walk in closet and gasp because of the amount of dresses in there, it was if she was in the mall, she move toward where pretty dresses were and her hand trace them as she have flashbacks to ten years ago.

FLASHBACK

It was her tenth birthday party, and she was trying on a beautiful dress that her father had bought for her. Her stepmother came in and tore the dress off Lexi's body.

"Starting from this moment, you can't wear pretty dresses," her stepmother yelled. "You can't be better than Victoria in anything!"

"She must outshine you in everything, your grades and beauty" she yelled and march the dresses.

Lexi cried and cried as her stepmother cut up all her pretty clothes. Her father came into the room, but he just ignored her, ignored her tears and her pain.

Lexi snapped back to the present, her heart heavy with memories. She realized that she had been hiding behind boyish clothes all these years, afraid to shine, afraid to be pretty. And she didn't even think she could try a dress on her body again.

She put on a pair of pajamas and left the room, feeling a sense of hope that she hadn't felt in years.

.

.

Lexi was heading back downstairs when her phone buzzed in her pocket. She pulled it out and saw that she had received a text from her mother-in-law, Mrs. Newton.

"So how did you like your new house?" the message read.

Lexi smiled and quickly typed out a response. "It's beautiful," she texted back.

"I'm glad you're pleased," Mrs. Newton replied. "I specifically chose the one that's closer to your college."

"Thanks, ma'am," Lexi responded, feeling grateful for her mother-in-law's thoughtfulness.

"You're welcome, dear," Mrs. Newton said. "You can tell me anything, okay? Have a good night."

Lexi smiled and put her phone away, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She had been worried about how she would adjust to her new life, but with her mother-in-law's support, she felt more confident.

As she entered the dining room, Theresa, the housekeeper, greeted her with a warm smile. "Dinner is ready, ma'am," she said, setting a plate in front of Lexi.

"Thank you," Lexi replied, taking a bite of the delicious food.

Just as she was starting to relax, a loud noise echoed through the hallway, followed by the sound of footsteps. Jameson, her husband, staggered into the room, his eyes glassy and his movements unsteady.

Lexi's eyes widened in shock as Jameson threw his jacket and tie on the ground and made his way upstairs. She quickly finished her dinner and followed him, concern etched on her face.

When she entered the room beside hers, she saw Jameson lying on the cold floor, his eyes closed and his body limp. She sighed and dragged him onto the bed, covering him with a duvet.

As she looked at him, she couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration. Why had he gotten so drunk? And why had he come home in such a state?

Despite her annoyance, Lexi couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for her husband. He was clearly struggling with the changes.

As she turned to leave, Jameson suddenly stirred, his eyes opening groggily.

"Lexi? Why did you trap me, why?" he mumbled, his voice slurred.

Lexi sigh sadly before going back to her room.

THE NEXT MORNING

Lexi stood in front of the huge mirror in her bedroom, gazing at her reflection. She was wearing her usual attire - a pair of baggy trousers and a loose-fitting shirt. Her short hair was messy, and she hadn't bothered to style it. She looked like a typical tomboy, and some people might even mistake her for a guy. But Lexi didn't care. She was comfortable in her own skin and didn't feel the need to dress up to impress anyone.

As she turned to leave, her eyes landed on a dress that Theresa had laid out for her. On a whim, Lexi decided to try it on. She slipped into the dress and looked at herself in the mirror. The dress was a lovely shade of blue, and it accentuated her curves in a way that surprised her. But as she looked at herself, Lexi felt a pang of discomfort. She wasn't used to wearing dresses, and she felt like she was pretending to be someone she wasn't.

Quickly, Lexi took off the dress and hung it back in the closet. She didn't have time for this. She had to get to school early, and she couldn't afford to waste any more time.

As she came downstairs, Theresa greeted her with a warm smile.

"Good morning, Lexi! I've prepared breakfast for you."

Lexi's stomach growled as she saw the delicious spread on the table. She quickly ate a slice of bread and drank a cup of hot chocolate, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Theresa.

As she was about to leave, a car pulled up beside her.

"Get in," Jameson's cool voice called out, and Lexi felt a flutter in her chest. She couldn't help but notice how attractive he looked in the morning light, his eyes sparkling with a hint of mischief.

But Lexi quickly put herself in check. She wasn't going to let Jameson's good looks get to her. She got into the car, trying to ignore the way her heart was racing.

As soon as she was seated, Jameson spoke up.

"I don't want you telling anybody about this marriage, am I clear?" His voice was stern, and Lexi felt a surge of annoyance.

"I'm not exactly thrilled about marrying you either, so why would I want to tell strangers about it?" she shot back, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Jameson's eyes narrowed, but he didn't say anything else. Instead, he simply said, "Good. Get out of my car."

Lexi was taken aback by his brusqueness, but she didn't hesitate. She got out of the car and watched as Jameson zoomed off, feeling a sense of relief wash over her.

"Jerk," Lexi muttered under her breath, glaring after Jameson's car. Thankfully, the college wasn't that far, so she decided to trek. She didn't need Jameson's help anyway.

.

.

.

Lexi arrived in front of the college and let out a sigh before entering. The building was even more beautiful than she had imagined, with towering spires and sprawling gardens. She had seen pictures, but nothing compared to the real thing. As she walked through the entrance, she was struck by the lively atmosphere. Students were chatting and laughing, some couples were making out publicly, and others were hurrying to their next class.

Lexi felt a little overwhelmed, unsure of who to approach or where to go. She had to get to the Chancellor's office, but she had no idea where it was. She looked around, trying to get her bearings, when someone suddenly tapped her shoulder.

"Wow, you're a girl!" the person exclaimed. "I thought you were a guy!"

Lexi turned to see a girl with a big smile on her face.

"Hi," Lexi said, smiling back.

"You're so pretty!" the girl said, eyeing Lexi up and down. "I'm Gemma."

"I'm Lexi, Lexi Thompson," Lexi replied, feeling a little self-conscious under Gemma's gaze.

"You're new here, right?" Gemma asked, and Lexi nodded.

"I'll take you to the Chancellor's office," Gemma said. "Follow me!"

Lexi followed Gemma through the winding corridors, taking in the sights and sounds of the college. They passed by a group of students playing music, a couple studying together, and a group of friends laughing and joking.

As they walked, Gemma chatted nonstop about the college, the students, and the faculty. Lexi listened intently, trying to absorb as much information as possible.

After a few minutes, they arrived at the Chancellor's office. Gemma pushed open the door and led Lexi inside.

"Hello, Chancellor," Gemma said, smiling at the woman behind the desk. "This is Lexi Thompson, the new student."

The Chancellor looked up from her papers and smiled at Lexi. "Welcome, Lexi. I'm Chancellor Lee. It's nice to meet you."

Lexi shook the Chancellor's hand, feeling a little awestruck. "Nice to meet you too, Chancellor."

.

.

Gemma took Lexi to their department, where a lecturer was already teaching a class. The lecturer made Lexi introduce herself before continuing the lecture.

As Lexi sat down beside Gemma, she felt a sense of relief wash over her. She was glad to have met Gemma, who was friendly and fun. Maybe this college thing wouldn't be so bad after all.

Throughout the lecture, Gemma whispered explanations and jokes to Lexi, making her laugh and feel more at ease. Lexi was grateful for Gemma's presence and knew that she would have been lost without her.

As the lecture ended, Gemma turned to Lexi and grinned. "You're so lucky that we're in the same department!"

Lexi smiled back, feeling a sense of belonging for the first time since arriving at the college. "Yeah, I guess I am!"

Gemma winked at Lexi. "I'll show you around the campus later, okay?"

"Sounds great!"Lexi nodded, looking forward to it.

.

"I am not seeing your bride," Jordan teased, grinning mischievously as Jameson entered their class.

"Come on, man, show us what she looks like." He added.

"Can you stop? This isn't funny."Jameson scoffed, rolling his eyes.

Jordan chuckled. "I think it is. You guys should make babies too."

Jameson snapped, his face reddening. "Never."

The friends erupted in laughter, and Jameson's face grew even redder.

"So, how is your first day as a married man?" Freddie asked, chuckling.

"It's terrible. I don't know how much more of this I can take."Jameson groaned, running a hand through his hair

"Can we see your bride? I'm sure she's pretty."Jordan leaned forward, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Pretty? My foot. She's like a guy."Jameson scoffed again.

Just then, Victoria walked into the room, her short, skimpy skirt drawing the attention of guys. She sashayed over to Jameson, plopping down on his lap and wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Hey, baby," she cooed, planting a kiss on his lips.

Jameson wrapped his arms around her waist, deepening the kiss.

"I'm out of here" Freddie rolled his eyes and stood up, mutter.

LUNCH TIME

As they walked into the cafeteria, Gemma asked Lexi about her first lecture. Lexi replied that it was stressful but she liked it. Gemma nodded and started ordering food for them. As they waited in line, Gemma pointed out Victoria and her friend Anderson, telling Lexi to avoid them. Lexi looked over and saw how popular Victoria was, with students constantly calling her name and taking her picture.

Just then, a commotion broke out as students started whispering in surprise. Lexi followed their gaze and saw the Supers, the most popular guys in college, walking into the cafeteria. Gemma explained that they were seniors and had their own cafeteria, so it was surprising to see them here.

Lexi's eyes were drawn to Jameson, who was ignoring all the attention from the girls and making his way to the table where the popular kids always sat. She couldn't help but stare at his cold, handsome face.

Gemma noticed Lexi's gaze and leaned in to whisper,

"Be careful around Jameson. He's not someone you want to mess with."

Lexi nodded, still staring at Jameson. She couldn't believe that she was married to him. It seemed like a lifetime ago that they had exchanged vows in that quiet ceremony.

As they got their food and sat down, Gemma pointed out the other Supers. "That's Jordan, the playful player. He's always flirting with girls and causing trouble. And that's Freddie, the quiet cool guy. He's really smart and always has a book in his hand."

Lexi nodded, taking in the information. She couldn't believe that she was now a part of this world, married to one of the most popular guys in college.

As they ate their lunch, Lexi couldn't help but sneak glances at Jameson. She wondered what he was thinking, and whether he was happy to see her. But his face was as cold as ever, and he didn't even glance in her direction.

Lexi sighed and turned back to Gemma. "I don't know how I'm going to do this," she whispered.

Gemma smiled and put a hand on her arm. "You'll be fine, Lexi. Just be yourself and don't let anyone intimidate you."

.

.

.

Lexi watched in discomfort as Victoria sat down beside Jameson and started kissing him. She quickly looked away, focusing on her food, trying to ignore the awkwardness of the situation.

"Can you both just stop this shit?" Freddie scoffed, and they disengaged from their kiss.

"So, is your bride in this cafeteria right here?" Jordan asked, his eyes scanning the room.

Victoria frowned but kept calm. Jameson looked around for a while, his eyes finally settling on Lexi. She was also looking at him, and their eyes met for a brief moment before Lexi looked away, feeling a sense of unease. The guys trace his eyes and they all stare at Lexi.

"Why are they staring at you?" Gemma asked in shock.

"She doesn't look like a guy," Freddie shrugged.

"She looks so cool, I think I'll like her," Jordan said, his eyes still fixed on Lexi.

Victoria rolled her eyes, clearly annoyed.

Just then, Wayne walked into the cafeteria, his calm and gentle demeanor commanding attention.

"And this is another popular guy you need to know," Gemma said, her voice low.

"He's Wayne, and he's very calm and gentle." She said.

Lexi looked at him, her eyes drawn to his kind face. He smiled gently as he looked around the cafeteria, his eyes meeting hers for a brief moment before moving on.

"But Wayne and the supers boy, Jameson, are sworn enemies," Gemma added, her voice dropping to a whisper.

"They hate each other's guts and always fight." She added.

Wayne stopped in front of Lexi, his eyes locking onto hers.

"I've been looking for you everywhere, Cute Lexi," he said, his voice low and smooth.

Lexi felt a flutter in her chest as Wayne moved her hair back, his touch sending shivers down her spine.

"Let's go, I have something to show you," he said, grabbing her hand and leading her out of the cafeteria.

The students murmured, wondering who the girl was, and why Wayne was paying her so much attention.

"What the hell just happened?" Freddie asked, his eyes wide with shock.

"Did Wayne just stole Jameson bride?" Jordan asked dramatically.
