Unhealthy older brother’s friend

Seo Hye was stunned, unable to move or speak. The man who had covered her with his jacket was none other than Kwon Jae Geum, her older brother’s friend.

Jae Geum had been a famous student in high school, known for his good looks and exceptional grades. He had also come from a wealthy family, the owner of the Taeseong Group.

Seo Hye had found him intimidating back then, and now, eight years later, he seemed even more formidable. His sharp features and cold demeanor made him seem unapproachable.

As Seo Hye stood there, frozen in shock, Jae Geum turned to leave. “Let’s go,” he said to his assistant, who followed him out of the cafe.

Seo Hye was left standing alone, feeling embarrassed and humiliated. She couldn’t believe that Jae Geum had witnessed her embarrassing situation.

As she stood there, trying to process what had just happened, Seo Hye’s mind wandered back to her high school days. She had always found Jae Geum intimidating, and now, it seemed that he had become an even more powerful and commanding figure.

Seo Hye finally snapped out of her trance and looked down at her stained blouse. She tried to clean it with a napkin, but the stain was stubborn.

As she stood there, feeling frustrated and embarrassed, Seo Hye’s thoughts turned to Jae Geum once again. She wondered if he had recognized her, and if he had, what he must think of her now.

The last thing he had said to her kept echoing in her mind: “Let’s meet again.”
