Unexpected Mates

Bblythe was immediately drawn to Olivia's delicate and gorgeous appearance the moment she saw her.

She scrutinized Olivia carefully and laughed warmly, "You must be Andrew's mate, right? You're so pretty!"

Olivia had to admit that she wasn't so pretty as they said.

In the human world, her appearance would be considered above average, but in the werewolf's world, her looks happened to align perfectly with their standards of beauty.

Everyone thought she was the most beautiful, making her feel extremely self-conscious.

So, everyone was unique in their own way. Beauty was just a matter of meeting the standards of the masses.

As winter approached, the male werewolves were all busy hunting, leaving the elderly at home to store food to prevent it from rotting during storage.

Bblythe hesitated for a moment but nodded, "Sure, I can show you. But why do you want to learn this? As a female, you don't have to do anything. You just need to stay at home and enjoy yourselves and give birth, and let Andrew do such rough work."

Olivia blushed even harder upon hearing "give birth," and she fantasized about giving birth to a child as handsome as Andrew.

Olivia blushed and covered her face with her hands, trying to stop her unrealistic thoughts.

"I want to share the pressure with Andrew."

Blythe chuckled, "It's so sweet of you. Few females cared about their mates so much. Let's go."

They took several wild rabbits and headed to the river.

The process of skinning wasn't too complicated, and with Blythe's guidance, Olivia quickly got the hang of it.

Olivia tied the internal organs of a wild rabbit to a long vine and threw them into the river, and before long, the organs were covered with many crabs.

"You love eating crabs?"

"Yeah, they are delicious. Haven't you ever eaten them?"

"No, never. We dislike them."

"That's a pity."

As they worked and talked happily, many males watched them with eager eyes.

Females were highly valued and rarely ventured out. They all took good care of their mates.

It was a rare sight to see two beautiful males at a time, especially one as petite and pretty as Olivia, and the males couldn't help but be drawn to them.

A few single young males couldn't suppress their desires and bravely approached them. However, they were chased away by Bill, who had been secretly guarding Olivia all along.

Bblythe noticed the fight and smiled meaningfully, "You're quite close to Bill, aren't you?"

"Not particularly."

"Alpha Bill has been watching you all the time."

"Huh?" Olivia looked in the direction Bblythe was pointing and made eye contact with Bill. They were both startled.

Bill's ears turned red, and his heart raced faster and faster. He felt embarrassed when his little secret was exposed. But he forced himself to look up and walked towards them.

"What are you doing here?" Olivia asked.

"Taking a walk." Bill pretended to be nonchalant.

Bill's gaze swept across her face, involuntarily recalling the scene of her seductive moans from last night.

The bulge between his legs immediately stirred, causing him to quickly turn away, avoiding Olivia's gaze in alarm.

Olivia focused on her work without looking at Bill.

Bblythe saw the subtle change in Bill, "It's a good thing I came along, or else I wouldn't have seen such a fun scene."

It turned out that even the usually indifferent Bill had developed a crush, which was quite the exception.

Bblythe tactfully excused herself to allow them privacy.

Bill stood by the river, seemingly enjoying the view across the bank, but his gaze kept straying to the nearby Olivia.

After all the work was done, Olivia was ready to go home. The hides become heavily waterlogged and very heavy for Olivia.

Suddenly, her load lightened as Bill took all the things from her.

Olivia wanted to express her gratitude but was immediately overruled by his sarcastic remark, "You can't even carry this? You Are Truly Useless!"

Olivia's gratitude turned to dust, and she thought, this guy always has something mean to say!

Bill carried the animal hides and walked quickly ahead, and Olivia hurriedly followed him, "Why are you walking so fast? Wait for me!"

"Am I? It's just that your legs are too short!"

"I object! That's slander!"

"Your objection is invalid!"

Olivia was roasting crabs and cooking meat porridge. Suddenly she remembered Bill hadn't returned the bowl of meat porridge till now!

She went next door to find Bill, "Give me the bowl!"

Bill avoided her gaze, "What bowl?"

"The bowl used for the meat porridge last night, Andrew brought it to you. Don't play dumb."

Olivia glared at him, thinking, "This guy is so strange, he ate up the meat porridge and now wants to keep the bowl!"

Bill reluctantly took out the bowl he had cleaned and kept as a treasure. It was the only thing from Olivia.

Olivia snatched the bowl and ran off.

"It's just a bowl; what's the big deal? I have a lot."

"You never had anything nice to say!"

In the evening, Andrew returned. Olivia couldn't wait to tell Andrew that she had learned how to skin the beasts.

Andrew gazed at her affectionately.

"See, I roast the crabs."

"Your crabs must be absolutely delicious!"

He carefully placed a bag on the table, "These are the potatoes and plants you wanted, I gathered them all for you."

Olivia cheered and ran over to see the potatoes and plants. They were exactly what she had requested!

Some plants could replace salt, some plants could replace sugar and some could replace oil.

She happily added the ingredients to the meat porridge and the roast crabs. A large pot of delicious meat porridge was ready.
