Chapter 11: He Pressed The Girl To His Body
The man came even closer to the girl and abruptly grabbed her face with his hands.
"Really?" he asked regretfully. "I lusted after you while you were wagging your tail in front of me, knowing that you were still too young to be responsible for your actions. I didn't dare touch you for many years, trying not to provoke you. Burning with wild desire, not trusting myself, because I was afraid that I would not resist your charms. Everything changed when you turned fourteen. It was as if a veil fell from my eyes, leaving only deep disappointment and melancholy. A strange combination, don't you think?"
Amelia's heart stopped for a moment. Her eyes reflected obvious fear. Alex really wanted her and intended to do everything to make their marriage real. But why would he do that?
"Let's make a deal, darling!" he suddenly suggested, still controlling her movements. "In public places, I'll act like a loving husband, but when we're alone, I won't lay a finger on you unless you ask me to, okay?"
The girl breathed a sigh of relief, hearing from him the words she wanted to hear on a subconscious level. He wouldn't harass her, since he promised it himself. All she would have to do was fight her attraction. Amelia hoped that she could handle it. That she would be able to resist the truth, as she had resisted it all these past years.
"Okay," she agreed with a slightly trembling voice.
"That's great."
Alex returned to his seat and picked up a bottle of champagne. Having filled both glasses, he smiled charmingly: "It looks like we've finally come to an agreement."
The rest of the dinner passed in silence. Amelia only sighed with relief when she got back to the hotel room. Alex carefully hugged her around the waist, and she felt how delightedly her body responded to his innocent touches.
Already in the room, the man took out his phone and began to search for some information in it. Amelia did not dwell on his actions, walking to the huge bed. Sitting on its edge, she took off her shoes with pleasure and wiggled her toes, giving them a rest from the uncomfortable shoes.
"For some reason, I don't have your mobile phone number," Alex said, frowning. "Only the home one."
"I don't have a mobile phone," the girl said calmly and leaned back on the bed. I had one, but after it went missing, I didn't buy a new one. I don't like all these devices, it takes a long time to get used to them and I always forget. What good is it if it's just lying there doing nothing?"
Alex looked incredulously at the fragile girl who lay down on top of the blanket with obvious pleasure.
"Are you serious?" he froze in the center of the room. "You really don't have a cell phone?"
"You heard me, Alex. No need to ask again."
Alex looked straight at the girl who was lying on the bed so calmly in his presence. The girl's eyes were closed, her arms were spread out to the side, and her whole body was relaxed. Petite, shapely and, as it turned out, too desirable.
Her dress had ridden up a little and the provocative neckline revealed an excellent view of her chiseled leg in a lace stocking. Too bright a contrast of innocence and vice. Alex's pants instantly became tight, which made him swallow and turn away. He didn't want to break their agreement on the very first day, so the man had to look away to calm down and suppress his desire to possess this little beast.
"I'll buy you a new one tomorrow," he said, heading to the dressing room.
"No need. I live perfectly well without it. Anyone who needs me can easily call me on a landline."
"Okay," he made a concession, "we'll talk about this a little later."
The girl did not respond to his words. It seemed that she had completely fallen asleep, but this relaxed state of hers lasted only a little while. Alex himself did not immediately understand how the girl who had just been lying down ended up fussing around the open suitcase. Only a slight breeze swept over his heated body.
"Order a folding bed to be brought," she asked, not looking at the frozen werewolf. "I'll sleep on it."
Alex grinned, and then laughed out loud.
"Are you kidding?" he burst into laughter. "We just announced our engagement, and what do you think the hotel staff will think of us if we sleep separately?"
"I don't know," she shrugged, standing up to her full height with an armful of things. "Think of something, but I'm not going to sleep in the same bed with you."
With these words, the girl confidently walked around the obstacle in the form of a frozen Alex and headed for the bathroom. But before she could even take a step, she felt a confident grip on her dress. Alex pulled her towards him, causing the girl to freeze in fear.
"You're full of surprises, my dear," he whispered sweetly in her ear. "One moment you're pretending to be a fatal seductress, the next you're trying to seem like an innocent girl."
A little girl who has no idea what happens in bed after marriage?
Alex pressed the girl to his body, hugging her shoulders, and his excited flesh rested against her lower back. Too small. Too desirable. Conflicting feelings covered his consciousness. He wanted her. Very much. But he was afraid to scare her away. Alex had never been a monk and he did not want to become one even for a short time.
"You know, darling, you should think through your actions more carefully," he whispered, kissing the pulsating vein on her thin neck. "You flew in and checked into my room, but it seems you didn't even think about how this adventure could end for you, my baby."
Alex watched her body's reaction tensely. Amelia breathed deeply, closing her eyes and biting her lip. Her breasts, filled with desire, tensed, and her nipples hardened, treacherously protruding through the stretched fabric of her dress.
The girl felt the hands holding her shift. One lay on her waist, forcing her to press closer to Alex's swollen flesh, and the other began to burn her thigh with caresses.
"You promised that you would not touch me while we were alone," she reminded the excited man, sighing loudly when he sensitively bit her earlobe and immediately began to lick his bite.
"Don't lie, little one," he objected. "I promised not to touch you if you were against it. But you can hardly restrain yourself. Am I right?"
"Right! Right!" the young she-wolf wanted to scream, but she held back. "Damn truth!"
Amelia twisted out of the hot shackles of his arms and took a step back. Throwing a daring glance at Alex, she said slowly: "If you decided to break the rules on the very first evening, then I will do the same, Alex. This is my last warning!"
Alex clenched his jaws and fists so hard that the grinding of his teeth was clearly heard and his knuckles turned white.
"One false step, Amelia, and you will regret being born into this world. I will not care that there are too few she-wolves in the world. I will deprive you of the beast and give it to the wolves for fun."
A rage boiled in the girl's soul.
"You wouldn't dare!" she growled, looking straight into the eyes of the enraged werewolf.
"I dare! And believe me, your father will thank me for this. You are a spoiled little brat who only cares about her well-being. You don't even think about others! No wonder your father left you penniless!"
Alex's words hit hard, causing the girl a burning pain in her chest. She swung her arm, wanting to slap the impudent alpha, but he managed to grab her hand and squeeze it tightly.
She wanted to cry out of resentment, but she stubbornly suppressed any weakness in herself that she could not flaunt. And tears now were undoubtedly a manifestation of it. Amelia blinked a couple of times and, gritting her teeth, freed her hand.
"I need to take a shower," she said and turned towards the adjoining door.
A perfectly straight back, a proudly raised head, and an absolute vacuum that seemed to envelop the girl from the inside. That's all Alex saw and felt as soon as her hand freed itself from his grip.
"Sorry," Alex said with a thoughtful expression. "I shouldn't have talked to you like that."
Amelia froze at the slightly open door but didn't turn around.
"If you want, I can move to another hotel. No one will know anything."
"No, you don't have to. I'll lie down on the couch," he said unexpectedly. "You need to rest and get some sleep."
The girl bit her lip and said only one word:
"Okay."
"I'll go down to the bar so you can get ready for bed," he warned, putting on his jacket.
"Okay," Amelia answered monosyllabically and disappeared behind the bathroom door.
She was overcome by hysteria, which she tried unsuccessfully to suppress. After crying under the cool streams of water, she decided to leave the hotel immediately. If it weren't for the need for money and her illness, which she had to carefully hide, as well as her feelings for Alex, she would never have agreed to fulfill the terms of the will.
In record time, having packed her suitcase, the girl hurried to the exit. Only a few hours would pass, and she would be in a safe place for her - in her small London apartment. And let Alex sleep on his bed.
By the time he returned, she would already be in the skies above London. There was no point in risking being alone with him. No matter how much pain she felt, she did not intend to cause even more pain to her loved one.
As Amelia had expected, Alex returned to the penthouse only after midnight. Angry and irritated, with a headache and a guilty conscience. He had no right to speak in such a tone to the girl he had desired since his youth. Not just desired, but wanted to publicly declare that she was his mate.
With his words, he brought her to tears. For the first time, Alex saw how her eyes filled with tears, how she tried to control them with visible persistence. She succeeded. Not for long. But it was enough for him to understand what a strong girl she was.
But as soon as he crossed the threshold of the room, he heard her quiet whine, full of despair, which even the flow of water could not drown out. Not wanting to hurt the girl even more, Alex nevertheless went down to the bar and ordered himself a whiskey. Let her calm down, and come to her senses. There's no point in embarrassing her with your appearance.
