Chapter 239: Resort Break
Chapter 239: Resort Break
Sitting on a resort hill station's area 3 after paying for 2000 Chaos Stones, the group relaxed on the comfy chairs and private pool. This location was in the central part of the city, so it was perfect to begin his last weekly mission.
Aleron was on the pool chair floating and relaxing while his Cosmic Eyes were spreading in eight directions around him, looking for the target.
The bounty also had details. It seems that this guy called Jackson Lempart killed three people who were part of an organization affiliated with Proper Path Alliance. As such, they created a bounty on him for their members to complete.
From details, he was a Paragon-rank of high-stage, but not peak. The three he killed were newbies who had recently arrived on Chaosverse from their Upper Cosmos. With those three being Elven Succubus, a rare cross-breed clan, Jackson raped and killed them, so they locked the entire city with a formation specifically for him.
He couldn't exit the city, nor access any teleportation places. Since his aura was identified, he would be found the moment he neared any exit spot or teleporters.
His only hope was to find a person capable enough to teleport him out of the city using Mystic Skill, but no one was foolish enough to help him.
After all, if someone helped him, Prosper Path Alliance would also target them.
Aleron lay back on the floating chair, his eyes half-closed as he soaked in the warmth of the sun and the coolness of the private pool's water. The gentle waves lapped against his legs, but his focus wasn't on the serenity around him.
His Cosmic Eyes were at work, sweeping through the city's central area with invisible precision. Since he had identified Jackson's aura from his hair, he could work to find him through it.
Of course, the chaotic essence within the city made it harder to track targets with normal senses, but his Mystic Skills allowed him to extend his vision beyond the physical world, probing both space and time.
Hunting a Paragon-rank in a city this large, with its myriad hiding places and bustling energy signatures, was no easy feat. Still, Aleron had an advantage: his mastery of space-time manipulation Mystic skills.
As his vision extended outward via his Cosmic Eyes, weaving through streets and alleys, he found some traces of Jackson's aura.
'Time to use the new tracking skill,' Aleron's eyes glinted.
Eternal Echoes of Time activated, tracing back the residual aura hints from people's movements over the past day. It was a skill that allowed him to follow in the footsteps of his target by reviewing echoes of past moments in that area.
In the distance, near the northwest edge of the city in a less bustling area, Aleron felt a pulse. It was faint but unmistakably the trace of Jackson Lempart's aura. The target was clever, hiding within the fringes of the city, staying low to avoid detection, but he couldn't mask his presence entirely.
Aleron smirked. "Found you."
He stood up, droplets of water falling from his body as he dismissed the floating chair with a flick of his hand.
"Did you find him, Master?" Mei asked, adjusting her position on the chair.
Aleron nodded. "Yes, he's near the edges of the district. I'll handle this."
Luna sat up, her gaze curious but calm. "Want a backup?"
"Not necessary. You two stay here and relax. This won't take long." Aleron's voice was confident, though not arrogant.
He knew his strengths well. Target was a high-stage Paragon-rank and frankly, no one in Paragon-rank could match up to him thanks to his mastery of Magilore as he had reached level 7 Magic Zone.
But even without that, he believed he was without equal in Paragon-rank due to his arsenal of powers awakened in his Mystic Path.
With a graceful leap, Aleron exited the pool area and stepped into the shimmering air before. His body flickered for a moment, and the next, he vanished, using his Mystic skill: Voidwalker to teleport himself instantly toward his target's location.
The rest was anticlimactic as Aleron simply captured Jackson within a prison made from a 5- star Magic Print.
He couldn't hope to escape from that magic prison no matter what he did.
Activating his eyes of Absolute Judgement, Aleron wanted to confirm and saw that Jackson was a dark red-colored individual.
'Guess I hoped for too much in this shitty world,' Aleron wryly smiled.
He thought Proper Path Alliance framed Jackson because he knew something he shouldn't know, or just to get rid of him at the request of some nasty fellows.
If Jackson had a yellow mark, he planned to kill him and throw his soul into his Midworld before giving him a new body. That way, he would escape Prosper Path Alliance's chase and get a new life.
But he was wrong.
"Alright, let's go," Aleron teleported directly to the Alliance Palace and submitted him. "You brought him alive? That's great," the staff member said in surprise. "If you completed other missions as well, then submit them. I'll send the rewards after ten minutes."
"I'll submit them later since I am occupied in a resort with my girls outside," Aleron grinned and waved his hand as he teleported.
...
Since Aleron paid 2000 for their two hours of vacation at this resort, he would obviously want to get its worth.
This hill resort had a private area covered by a formation, allowing no one outside to peep through. It had a swimming pool, a pavilion, a treehouse with a big room and fancy furniture.
Returning to the place, Aleron jumped into the pool, splashing water on everyone before he started swimming bareback.
"Girls, I have a present for you," Aleron grinned as he saw their plain outfits. "Since we are the place, you ought to wear bikinis."
Cooking a mystic skill using his elemental traits, Aleron created bikinis of smooth and soft fabric bikinis with slightly fancy designs.
An ocean-blue two-piece with wavy white patterns for Luna.
A black two-piece criss-cross bikini for Mei.
A flamy-dark blue patterned two-piece bikini for Shelby.
And a pink one-piece for Kira.
Aleron also removed his clothes, wearing only black boxers of soft and comfy fabrics.
But just swimming and laying in the pool wasn't fun, of course, and Aleron had thoughts about doing something naughty.
