Chapter 9: System Awakening
The runes faded, leaving a warm sensation in Hikari's hand. A gentle chime echoed in her mind.
[Ding! Welcome to the Uchiha Clan System.]
A holographic panel materialized before her, displaying the interface:

A rush of information flooded her mind, the beginner's package seamlessly integrating with her consciousness:
Genetic Lock, three Haki practice methods, the Uchiha Immortal Cultivation Technique, and the Uchiha Chakra Refining Technique.
(Author's Note: Readers may recall that Madara created an improved chakra refining technique in Chapter 5. However, he has chosen to keep this technique hidden for the time being, believing that revealing it would draw unwanted attention from the Sage of Six Paths.)
"What is all this?" she whispered, her Iridescent Pearl tattoo glowing softly.
Madara, seated beside her in his study, smiled: "This is the Uchiha Clan System. It's a powerful tool I created to ensure the Uchiha's strength and dominance for generations."
He patiently guided her through each function, explaining the Clan Library's vast knowledge, the Battle Simulation's combat training, and the Clan Missions' tasks.
"And this," he said, pointing to the Chat Group, "is how we can communicate directly."
He added her to his contacts, and a small window appeared, displaying their faces.
Hikari: This is… convenient.
Madara: Indeed. We can message, call, and even share visual information.
They exchanged brief messages, testing the system's capabilities.
Madara: Now, I suggest you try the Battle Simulation. It will be invaluable for your training.
Hikari: What kind of training?
Madara: Begin with one-on-one duels. Then, gradually increase the difficulty. You will learn to control your Mangekyō Sharingan abilities. However, for now, focus on building a solid foundation in taijutsu and strategy. We'll refine your Sharingan control later. Be warned, the pain felt in the simulation is real.
Hikari nodded, and closed the chat window.
"System, open Battle Simulation," she commanded in her mind.
"One-on-one duel, challenging opponent. Tobirama Senju, age 10."
The room transformed into a virtual arena, a misty clearing reminiscent of a training ground.
A young Tobirama Senju materialized before her, his expression serious.
Hikari took a deep breath, focusing on her stance and movements.
She attempted to activate her Observation Haki, but it was like trying to see through a fog.
She couldn't feel any distinct change. The Genetic Lock felt like a distant concept, impossible to grasp.
Tobirama moved with surprising speed for his age, his water-style techniques creating a small but potent torrent of attacks.
Hikari focused on evading and blocking, relying on her reflexes and agility. She tried to harden her fists with Armament Haki, but nothing happened.
She countered with taijutsu strikes, but Tobirama's reflexes were sharp, and he evaded many of her attacks.
He unleashed a barrage of training kunai imbued with water chakra, forcing Hikari to retreat.
She used the environment to her advantage, dodging behind trees and rocks, attempting to create openings for counterattacks.
Tobirama's speed and technique proved too much, and he managed to land a decisive blow, a sharp kick to her ribs.
A jolt of real pain shot through her, taking her breath away. She stumbled, her vision blurring.
"Simulation ended," the system announced.
Hikari gasped, clutching her side, the phantom pain lingering.
She took a moment to analyze the encounter, the memory of the pain adding a new dimension to her learning.
"System, open Battle Simulation. One-on-one duel, challenging opponent. Raikage A, age 12," she commanded.
This time, the arena was a rocky terrain, and a slightly older Raikage A materialized before her, his lightning chakra crackling around him.
He charged with impressive speed, his powerful strikes shaking the virtual ground.
Hikari focused on maintaining her distance, using the rocky terrain to create diversions and obstacles.
She attempted to use Armament Haki to harden her defenses, focusing intently on the flow of chakra, but the results were still subpar.
She tried to use observation haki to see his movements, but the speed was to great for her current skill level.
She also tried to activate her Genetic Lock, but nothing happened.
However, his powerful strikes and lightning-fast reflexes proved difficult to overcome.
The Raikage managed to land a powerful blow, a lightning-charged fist to her stomach.
The pain was searing, a jolt of electricity that paralyzed her for a moment.
She crumpled to the ground, the virtual air knocked from her lungs.
"Simulation ended," the system announced.
She took a moment to catch her breath, analyzing her mistakes.
"System, open Battle Simulation training facilities. Create a comprehensive training regimen."
The system generated a series of exercises, including:
* Sensory deprivation training for Observation Haki.
* Weighted resistance training for Armament Haki.
* Mental focus exercises for Genetic Lock activation.
* Taijutsu and weapon mastery drills.
* Strategic analysis and tactical simulations.
* Chakra control and manipulation exercises.
* Stealth and infiltration training.
* Environmental adaptation and survival skills.
She entered a specialized training room within the simulation, where she began her rigorous training.
