Chapter 4: The Road to Power and Influence
A Year of Growth
Madara sat cross-legged in his room, surrounded by stacks of scrolls his father had given him. The dim glow of a lantern flickered against the walls as he unrolled the first scroll on sealing techniques.
"Alright, let's see what the Uchiha know about sealing…"
As he scanned through the contents, he quickly realized something—the Uchiha were terrible at sealing techniques compared to the Uzumaki. The techniques he received were basic at best:
Transcription Seal – Stores jutsu within the Sharingan.
Flame Barrier Seal – A weak defensive seal that burns enemies on contact.
Chakra Restraint Seal – A chakra suppression technique, but not strong enough for high-level opponents.
Mind Lock Seal – A weak technique that prevents basic mind-reading but is useless against advanced Genjutsu.
"If I want to capture Black Zetsu and create the Uchiha Clan System, these aren't enough."
Madara leaned back, deep in thought. He needed higher-level knowledge, but he knew his father didn't have anything better to offer.
There was only one solution—the System Mall.
He opened his system panel and navigated to the Clan Mall. A long list of options appeared, containing classified knowledge from different worlds and bloodlines.
[System Mall]
Soul Knowledge – 300 Clan Points
Advanced Sealing Techniques – 250 Clan Points
Medical Knowledge – 200 Clan Points
Human Anatomy & Brain Research – 150 Clan Points
Genetics Knowledge – 400 Clan Points
Total: 1,300 Clan Points
"That's everything I have… but it's worth it."
[Confirm Purchase?]
[Yes] [No]
The moment he accepted, a rush of information flooded his mind. Knowledge of sealing, souls, medical science, human anatomy, and genetics fused into his brain like he had spent decades studying them. His Heaven-Defying Enlightenment processed everything instantly, refining and organizing the details in his memory.
His body trembled slightly.
"Now, let's get to work."
After working late into the night, he finally went to sleep.

Battle Royale: The Path to Strength
The next morning, after his usual physical training and breakfast, Madara decided it was time to test Battle Royale.
As he opened the Battle Royale Function, a menu appeared.
[Battle Royale Features]
1v1 Duels – Fight an opponent of your choosing.
1vMany Battles – Face multiple enemies at once.
War Simulation – Command troops in battlefield scenarios.
Weapon Training – Master different weapons and tools.
Environmental Combat – Fight in forests, deserts, snowfields, underwater, and more.
Gravity Chamber – Train under 10x gravity for enhanced physical conditioning.
"This is better than I expected."
He selected 1v1 Duels and set his first opponent—his 10-year-old self.
In an instant, he found himself in a massive training ground, a cold breeze brushing against his skin. Across from him stood his older self, silent and unmoving.
No words were spoken—the fight began instantly.
The older Madara rushed forward, his movements impossibly fast for a child. Kunai flashed in the air, and his Sharingan predicted Madara's actions before they even happened.
Madara barely dodged, shifting his head at the last second to avoid a slash to his throat.
"Too fast!"
He countered with a spinning kick, but his opponent blocked effortlessly, twisting Madara's arm and slamming him into the ground.
Pain shot through his body.
Madara coughed, struggling to move.
"Damn… this pain"
But gritting his teeth, he forced himself up and adapted. The battle continued for hours.
At first, he lost repeatedly, but each loss sharpened his reflexes, strengthened his instincts, and improved his reaction time.
By the end, he had gained valuable combat experience.
This became his daily routine—six hours in Battle Royale (which meant 60 hours of training due to time dilation), mastering different combat styles, weapons, and survival techniques.

Studying & Developing New Techniques
After Battle Royale, he bathed and began studying the knowledge he had purchased.
For the first few months, Madara focused entirely on digesting the information while continuing his six-hour Battle Royale training and writing his novel.
He experimented with sealing techniques, modifying them with his newfound understanding.
He studied how souls interact with chakra and natural energy, figuring out ways to track and bind even non-physical entities like Black Zetsu.
He analyzed genetics, working on how to imprint the Uchiha Clan System into the bloodline so that future generations would inherit it automatically.
After weeks of refinement, he created his own techniques:
Heavenly Binding Seal – A large-scale gravitational seal that traps enemies in an unbreakable sphere, inspired by Six Paths - Chibaku Tensei.
Genetic Brand Seal – A highly encrypted bloodline technique that ensures the Uchiha Clan System is passed down through DNA, immune to external tampering.
Heaven's Eye Perception – A soul-based sensory ability that allows him to see auras, souls, and mental states of others.
Chakra Link Seal – A tracking seal that lets him monitor chakra signatures across vast distances.
With these, he could finally start laying a trap for Black Zetsu.
Three months into his routine, Madara completed his novel—100 handwritten copies.
He quickly realized a problem—no one would take a one-year-old writer seriously.
"I need help."
That night, he placed a copy in front of his parents.
Tajima raised an eyebrow. "What is this?"
Mura smiled. "Did you write this, Madara?"
He nodded. "Yes. But I need your help to sell and spread it."
Tajima started reading, his expression shifting from amusement to genuine interest.
"This… is actually well-written," he admitted.
Mura chuckled. "Our son is a genius."
The next day, they hired disabled and retired Uchiha ninjas to copy and sell the books within the clan. They also used merchants, informants, and traveling storytellers to spread it outside Uchiha territory.
Within few months, "The Rise of the Dragon King" became popular.
Young shinobi from different clans loved it.
Civilians and nobles enjoyed its themes of strength and leadership.
Many clans bought copies to inspire their children to fight for their clans.
Yet, no one realized the novel was slowly changing their subconscious thoughts. By the time they understood, it would be too late.
"Step by step, the seeds of change are being planted," Madara muttered.
By the end of the year, Uchiha Mura's pregnancy was almost complete.
One night, as Madara sat beside her, she gently placed a hand on her stomach.
"Madara," she said softly, "soon… you'll have a younger sibling. Do you want a brother or a sister?"
Madara smiled. "It will be my brother."
Mura laughed. "And what if it's a sister?"
Madara shook his head. "I just… feel that it will be a brother."
"I can't tell her I'm a time traveler… and I know it's Izuna."
And this time, he would change Izuna's fate.
