Chapter 31: 31
Okay, all of you, quiet. Who's the leader here?'
'Leader?'
'Now he's losing me.'
'Don't you mean 'she'?'
'Yea, leader. The 'main' body? There has to be a starting point, right?'
'Is there? Then isn't the quiet one it?'
'Why are you all bickering about nonsense? We're going to die, so at least die quietly.'
'Oh! Is she the cold-blooded one? Cool.'
'Is that really important?!'
'Wahhhh!'
'Okay, shut that girl up, please?'
'I. Can't. Think. Can't you PLEASE be quiet? For like a second?'
'Listen, we've been arguing for what seems like minutes, but in reality, barely a second has passed, give us some freedom.'
'Yea, it's been a second, and we're already split into 20 different people, So. Be. Quiet!'
'Is it 20? I feel like it's less.'
'That's because having your gender turn into a man also gave you the intelligence of one!'
'Woooow~ Go get him!'
"Shut Up!"
'Juny's' bodies shook as an unknown voice intervened.
"You Need To Get Back Together! Or You'll Stay Like This!"
'Heeeh~? Who's that?'
"What Do You Mean Who? You're The One Who Decided To Sit Down Right Before Our House! So At Least Get Back Together!"
At the scolding of an unknown voice, 'Juny' went quiet.
Even the scared 'Juny' shut up.
"Good, So You Don't Actually Want To Die. Good, Good."
Although 'she' was quiet, 'Juny' was still silently splitting apart.
As if knowing this, the voice spoke faster.
"Now, Listen To Me Little One-"
'Who are you calling-'
"QUIET!"
A different voice chimed in.
"YOU NEED TO BE QUIET!"
"Be Nicer, Obviously Noone Warned Her Beforehand."
"well, it's, good, she's, here. i've, been, bored."
"You Are Just Making It Worse! Let Me Handle It."
"SURE."
"if, that's, what, you, want."
'Juny' was all different, but most of 'she' was doubtful about how helpful this voice would be.
"Okay Child, Listen Closely. It Seems That Noone Was Able To Tell You Before You Ingested The Potion. It Might Have Something To Do With The Fact That Noone Has Summoned Or Visited Us In A While, But We Can Talk About That Later."
All of 'Juny' nodded at once, feeling the tearing pain spreading.
"What's Happening Right Now Is Not 'Splitting' In The Right Sense Of The Word. You're Going Through An Evolution. 'You' Became Many. You Need To Handle Our Power To Get Back. But Don't Worry, All Of You Are You, And You Will Become The Whole 'You' In The End."
'What..?'
"Please, Don't Interrupt. I Know It's Confusing, It Always Is. Okay Guys, We Have A Job To Do, So Come Out Of Your Rat Holes."
"I don't like this."
"It's too bright for me. But I suppose a deal is a deal."
"Oh-my-god. She's-so-young. How-did-this-happen?"
"I Don't Know, But We Don't Have The Time To Ask. You Each Go Help Your Variant."
'Variant?'
"Don't ask man. Don't ask."
'...You're quite annoying.'
"Heh, thanks for the compliment."
'...'
As the voices parted, each began talking to a particular rippling body of 'Juny'.
"Okay, Hi. You're Currently The, How Should I Say This... You're The 'Main' You? The You Which Holds Power Over The Void Pathway."
'Got it... is that important?'
"Yep, Very Important Actually."
'I see...'
"Sorry, I'm Sure You Must Be In A Lot Of Pain, Right? having Your Body And Soul Rip-"
'No, not really. I've been through much worse on many occasions.'
"... Really?"
'Yup. But I might lose control if I don't fix this. Although, I don't really care.'
"Well... Do You Like Noise?"
'Are you seriously asking me that...?'
"Sorry, Sorry. So, You Are The 'You' With The Void Pathway. That Means You Are The Main You Before You Split Into Many. You Need To Gather The Different Variants Of 'You'. Think Of It As Locking Them Into Yourself. Your Mind Preferably."
'Will I become one if I do that? Will I be whole?'
"Umm... Yea? You Should. You Will Have Full Control Over Your Body. You Are The Original After All."
'... I messed up, didn't I? ...They won't go away, will they?'
"N- No! They Will! As Long As You Succeed! And It's Not Your Fault. Noone Warned You. It's Only Natural."
'I get it. I'll be fine. So just tell me what to do.'
"Yes, I Must Say That You Are Much More Mature Than I Expected."
'I hear that a lot.'
The voice hummed, the sound coming from multiple directions.
"Okay, Do As I Say And Don't Question It."
'... That doesn't sound right.'
"Do You Want To Survive Or Not?"
'Sorry. Act as if I didn't say anything.'
"Thank You. Now, Look Into Yourself. You Need To Find The Tear, The Separation. It's Usually Around Your Heart, But Your Rip Is Too Large, You Need To Look For At Least Five Cracks."
'...'
'Juny' kept silent, using Material Vision and Space Manipulation to get a look into her broken body.
She could sense the incorporeal blood flowing through thin tubes all throughout her body.
Her body was see through and half-nonexistent.
She started with her throat and went down.
Her lungs were fine, her liver, her ribs.
And then she finally got to her heart.
'Juny' felt pressure enveloping the place and gripping at her heart.
Juny winced in pain, but didn't lose sight of the deep crack spreading all around her heart.
"You Found It? Already? You're Fast..."
'Juny' didn't respond, keeping her full attention on her destroyed veins.
"Okay, Now You Need To Pull. Pull At The Crack And At The Strings Connected To It."
'Juny' paused, confused.
'Strings? There are no- oh! Here they are. How...?'
But 'Juny' didn't question it too much.
Four strange imaginary strings were connected to who knows where.
One was fiery, one was fierce, one was rugged and one frozen.
'Juny' used Space Manipulation to grasp them tightly and pulled.
Four yells, almost screams, sounded through 'Juny's' head.
'Ow!'
'Hey, careful, you... me?'
'Ugh, who- Who just pulled at my hair?!'
'Ah! Piece of-! Oh. It's you.'
'Juny' felt light resistance before the strings loosened.
'Juny' gently pulled forward, and with no resistance whatsoever, the four 'Junys' connected and blended into 'Juny'.
They were the 'Junys' who each managed to control one or multiple of the Beyonder abilities from a certain Pathway with the guidance of their Elementals.
If they hadn't gotten the hang over themselves and their split powers, blending them back would be impossible.
This was why having someone to guide, in this case the Elementals, was very important.
But being able to understand and grasp the way Beyonder Powers work is also something the person has to be able to do.
If one doesn't have the smarts to comprehend the concepts, then the Elementals's help would be useless.
'Juny' held her breath, repeating the searching, grasping and pulling six more times.
The crack was even bigger than the Elemental expected.
And finally, the voices blended together, and 'Juny' became Juny once more.
'Fuu... that was something I never want to repeat.'
"Well? Looks like it worked well."
"Hmm, Give Me A Moment. Little One, Do You Still Hear Your Voices?"
Juny opened her eyes, taking a second to adjust to the light.
Literally, there was bright light everywhere.
Juny gently rubbed the bridge of her nose before taking notice of the shining 'balls' of light flying around her.
"How about you tone down the bright light, obviously she hates it too."
Juny could vaguely tell which glowing 'ball' spoke just now.
It was one which mixed crimson red and dark red.
'... Is that the Moon Pathway's Elemental?'
"I-agree. She-seems-uncomfortable-or-confused. Either-way, just-tone-down-the-light, Sun."
"don't, call, her, Sun. you, know, she, hates, it."
"Y e a, y o u k n o w I h a t e i t. B u t I w i l l t o n e i t d o w n."
The light immediately dimmed and Juny could see clearer.
A white and yellow glow was lightly flying above her head.
"God, you're all so dull. Is it the lack of action? I get that~ Hey Void, why aren't you intervening?"
"Do You Want Me To?"
"YEAH, DO YOU WANT HER TO?"
"Hey, we haven't seen each other in a long time because everyone is always too lazy, I want some action!"
A bright red and orange light, more like fire than a glow, moved in closer, almost touching Juny's face.
"New girl, can you give me some action? Take me outside!"
Juny stared, but didn't answer.
'Um, is this why she, the Void Elemental, asked me if I like noise? This sucks...'
Amidst her thoughts, Juny stood up and brushed off the dirt.
As she went over her new abilities, she was dumbfounded.
'Wow, this looks interesting. I can use abilities from other Beyonder Pathways as long as I have an Elemental to help me. Is that why the Void Elemental said that it was an evolution not necessarily a complete Advancement? By having a part of me learn to control the Beyonder Pathways abilities, I can now safely use them after becoming whole.'
'I can mimic and make new abilities, how interesting.'
Juny nodded to herself before looking at the lights around her.
As expected, there were 23 differently colored lights, but most kept quiet.
Juny looked at one which kept changing shape and color, but seemed to contain stars inside.
"No, I'm not hearing any voices."
"Oho! She can speak! I thought she went mute!"
"Red Priest, Calm Yourself Down. You're Too Annoying."
"Forget that. Child, why are you here? Why are you advancing?"
"RIGHT! THAT'S SOMETHING WE HAVEN'T ASKED YET, BUT IT'S SOMETHING WHICH SHOULD BE QUESTIONED!"
"H m m, i t i s s t r a n g e."
"Right, isn't-she-too-young? They-wouldn't-allow-it, no-matter-how-strong-she-is."
"HeHe, IsN't It ObViOuS? ThEy DiEd! ShE's ThE oNlY oNe LeFt, IsN't ThAt So?"
A shadowy and black ball filled with corruption moved closer. If it had a face, Juny was sure it would be smiling.
"No, That Can't Be. Stay Out Of This, Abyss."
"You're all so dull~ Kiddo, tell us what's up. We've been locked here for a sh*t tone of time."
Juny blinked, masking her confusion with a calm face.
She looked at the fiery ball and at the black starry ball, which was pushing against a bloody and dripping ball.
Slowly, she sighed.
She looked back at the ground and then at the balls of light.
"Okay, but it's going to take a while. Since, um. You won't like it."
"H̶e̶h̶, t̶r̶y̶ m̶e̶ k̶i̶d̶d̶o̶."
Juny leaned against the tree, thinking of where to start.
...
"... Kid, you're not funny, you know that?"
"A r e y o u s a y i n g t h a t y o u a r e t h e l a s t l i v i n g m e m b e r?"
Juny nodded towards the holy looking ball of light, ignoring the fiery one.
"Child, how old, no. How long have you been here? How long have you been a Beyonder?"
"You Guys Are Asking The Wrong Questions. Little One, Who's Descendant Are You?"
Juny looked at the crimson and dark-red ball and the dark ball filled with stars.
She reached underneath her loose shirt while answering.
"I'm 11 now, and I've been a Beyonder for two and a half years now. I don't know my father since he was dead by the time a was born, but my mom is Mari, the last Lapis scribe."
As she spoke, Juny pulled out the dark necklace and showed it to the balls of light.
"the, scribe? i, remember, the, scribes. but, there, wasn't, anyone, called, Mari, last, time."
"Yea, well. 'Last time' was around six hundred years ago, of course we don't know her. And she seemingly never made it here."
Juny looked at the fiery ball.
"She didn't. She decided to stay Sequence 7 and has not Advanced until her very death."
Juny said it nonchalantly, but the surrounding Elementals went quiet.
Juny felt as if they were all giving her looks, but she didn't know what kind.
Suddenly, a white light with blue hue moved closer from the back.
It had a strange look, more like an open book than a ball, it was an Elemental from the White Tower Pathway.
"𝐼 𝒹𝑜𝓃'𝓉 𝓌𝒶𝓃𝓉 𝓉𝑜, 𝒷𝓊𝓉 𝐼 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝓉𝑜 𝒶𝓈𝓀. 𝒞𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹, 𝒽𝑜𝓌 𝒹𝒾𝒹 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒷𝑒𝒸𝑜𝓂𝑒 𝒶 𝐵𝑒𝓎𝑜𝓃𝒹𝑒𝓇?"
Juny looked at it, being quiet for a moment.
'Ugh, that question is annoying... I should probably be honest, right? But they'll just give me pity looks. On the other hand, I just don't feel like lying...'
Juny exhaled, answering the White Tower Elemental's question in a bitter tone.
"I... ate the Beyonder characteristic of my mom."
"..."
The place became painfully silent.
'F*ck... just why is it that I didn't choose to lie?'
Juny reached out, rubbing the bridge of her nose.
"Don't do that, it's not as bad as it sounds. Although it did hurt a bit."
"No... It's Not The Physical Pain That I'm Worried About."
"Go get it kid! Taking 'you are what you eat' to whole another level!"
"Can someone shut him up? Please?"
"𝒩𝑜, 𝓊𝓃𝒻𝑜𝓇𝓉𝓊𝓃𝒶𝓉𝑒𝓁𝓎 𝒽𝑒'𝓈 𝓉𝑜𝑜 𝓂𝓊𝒸𝒽 𝑜𝒻 𝒶𝓃 𝒶𝓈𝓈𝒽𝑜𝓁𝑒 𝓉𝑜 𝒷𝑒 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁𝑒𝒹. 𝐼𝓉'𝓈 𝓁𝒾𝓀𝑒 𝒾𝓉 𝑔𝒾𝓋𝑒𝓈 𝒽𝒾𝓂 𝒶𝓃 𝒾𝓂𝓂𝓊𝓃𝒾𝓉𝓎."
"I never said anything about killing-"
"Aw, you didn't even try yet~ Come on, I can take you on!"
Juny felt strange so she turned her body to the side and towards the portal 'door'.
"Well, uh. I have to thank you for your help, but I have to take my leave now."
Just then, the fiery ball of light flew before her.
"Hey Hey! You can't just leave this poor old me here! I wanna out! I'm bored out of my wits!"
Next to him flew a frozen ball, radiating dazzling and elegant glow of a rosy hue.
"𝕀 𝕔𝕒𝕟'𝕥 𝕓𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕧𝕖 𝕚𝕥, 𝕓𝕦𝕥 𝕀 𝕗𝕖𝕖𝕝 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕤𝕒𝕞𝕖. 𝔻𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕟', 𝕔𝕒𝕟 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕥𝕒𝕜𝕖 𝕞𝕖 𝕠𝕦𝕥𝕤𝕚𝕕𝕖? 𝕀 𝕙𝕒𝕧𝕖𝕟'𝕥 𝕤𝕖𝕖𝕟 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕒𝕔𝕥 𝕚𝕟 𝕒 𝕝𝕠𝕟𝕘 𝕥𝕚𝕞𝕖~ 𝕀 𝕨𝕒𝕟𝕟𝕒-"
"Don't You Dare Finish That Sentence!"
"G e t h e r a w a y f r o m t h e c h i l d! O r I s w e a r I w i l l s c o r c h h e r t o o b l i v i o n!"
"Do it! Do it!"
"You Be Quiet Too!"
"This is a mess..."
Juny couldn't help but quietly point out.
Her whisper unheard.
As the others yelled at each other, the crimson and dark-red ball moved next to Juny.
It was Moon Pathway's Elemental.
"The you which I helped was very good at understanding the Moon Pathway's abilities."
Juny looked at the Elemental, nodding.
"I have many friends and companions who are of the Moon Pathway. Some of them are Sanguine."
The Elemental jumped up and down.
"Oh? The Sanguine? That's great, they are an old kind. They existed even during Her Majesty's reign."
Juny tilted her head.
"Her Majesty? You know?"
The Elemental was talking about The Queen of Galaxies, the respectable old Goddess of The Void Pathway.
The one who deleted all memories connected to the Void Pathway at the cost of her own existence.
The Elemental's light shifted.
"Of course. We're much older than you might think. We've been by Her Majesty's side during her rule over the world. We've had our memories kept as we were here when Her Majesty sacrificed herself. Just like the Lapis bloodline."
Juny looked away, feeling a tug at her heartstrings.
"You must've been really bored..."
The Elemental shook to the sides.
"No. We've been by the Lapis bloodline's side the entire time. But..."
Juny looked back, the Elemental's light was much dimmer now, its voice gloomy.
"Slowly- no. For us, who live long, it was excruciatingly fast. Those who could see us, hear us, talk to us, they disappeared."
Juny bit the tip of her tongue, but she kept quiet.
"Someone came in from time to time, but they couldn't do anything for us. They couldn't talk or let us out. We haven't seen anyone enter, even by accident, for over six hundred years. Or that's if we haven't miscounted."
Juny sighed.
"So then you knew. What was happening to the family I mean."
The Elemental was silent for a while, the others have also noticed their conversation, stopping their arguments.
Seeing that the Moon Elemental was not going to answer, the frozen one moved closer.
Its voice was no longer cheery, it was gloomy.
"𝕎𝕖 𝕙𝕒𝕕 𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕛𝕦𝕟𝕔𝕥𝕦𝕣𝕖𝕤, 𝕓𝕦𝕥 𝔻𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕟', 𝕨𝕙𝕠 𝕨𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕨𝕒𝕟𝕥 𝕥𝕠 𝕒𝕔𝕔𝕖𝕡𝕥 𝕤𝕦𝕔𝕙 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕪?"
Juny nodded, she wouldn't want to believe it either if she was the Elementals.
"So then, you had a reason to believe otherwise?"
"H̶e̶h̶, i̶t̶'s̶ a̶l̶l̶ i̶n̶ t̶h̶a̶t̶ n̶e̶c̶k̶l̶a̶c̶e̶ o̶f̶ y̶o̶u̶r̶s̶, k̶i̶d̶d̶o̶."
A dripping and bloody ball moved closer.
It was the Hanged Man Pathway's Elemental.
Juny tilted her head and reached down.
She once again pulled the dark necklace from underneath her loose shirt.
"You mean this?"
The Hanged Man Elemental moved up and down while the Void Elemental took over.
"You See, This Dimensional Space Was Made A Long Time Ago And It Is The Pocket Dimension Of Prince Lapis, Her Majesty's Closest Angel And Your Predecessor."
Juny nodded her head, she knew or guessed as much.
Seeing this, the Void Elemental continued.
"Before He Dispersed To Follow In Her Majesty's Footsteps, Six Keys To This Place Were Created And Distributed."
A ball of cyan light spoke up, it was the Door Pathway's Elemental.
"the, system, is, not, as, complex, as, they, made, it, sound. the, curse, does, not, activate, when, last, of, the, Lapis, bloodline, dies, but, when, all, holders, of, the, six, keys, perish, or, lose, it."
"Yes, We Are In Hold Of Five Of Them. So As Long As The Last Holder Didn't Die, We Didn't Have A Reason To Lose Hope."
Juny leaned back against the white three.
"Doesn't that mean you should panic? One more and everything disappears."
The Elementals shared glances before moving up and down, as if nodding.
"You're completely right, kid. But that still means that not all of them died."
Juny blinked.
'I don't think I can understand...'
But she didn't bother, feeling that the Elementals were very optimistic.
Juny was silent for a while.
"Then..."
The Elementals stopped taking and turned to her.
Juny rubbed the bridge of her nose before continuing.
"Would you like a body? So you can to outside? Or do you mean you can go without a vessel?"
There was short silence while the Elementals processed what Juny just said.
Before anyone could stop it, the fiery one flew over to Juny at a rapid speed.
"You mean it, kid? Haha! I would LOVE to have a body!"
The Void Elemental pushed him away before turning to Juny.
"Ignore Him, Child. What You Are Thinking Is Probably The Truth. You See, We've Been Here For Way Too Long, It's Impossible To Leave The Pocket Dimension On Our Own. Our Existence Would Tear, Unable To Handle The Change In Our Surroundings."
The Moon Elemental flew closer.
"Yes, you see, the only way for us to leave really is through a new body. A body which is used to both the inside and outside. But that would be too straining for you, also there is a limit to how many Body Doubles you can currently create."
"𝒞𝑜𝓇𝓇𝑒𝒸𝓉, 𝒞𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹. 𝒴𝑜𝓊 𝓂𝓊𝓈𝓉 𝓃𝑜𝓉 𝓌𝑜𝓇𝓇𝓎 𝒶𝒷𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝓊𝓈 𝓉𝑜𝑜 𝓂𝓊𝒸𝒽. 𝒲𝑒 𝒸𝒶𝓃 𝓌𝒶𝒾𝓉, 𝓌𝑒'𝓋𝑒 𝓌𝒶𝒾𝓉𝑒𝒹 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝒶 𝓁𝑜𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝒾𝓂𝑒. 𝒲𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒹𝑜 𝒷𝑒𝒸𝑜𝓂𝑒 𝒶𝓃 𝒜𝓃𝑔𝑒𝓁, 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒸𝒶𝓃 𝓁𝑒𝓉 𝓊𝓈 𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝓅𝓇𝑜𝒷𝓁𝑒𝓂. 𝐵𝓊𝓉 𝒹𝑜𝓃'𝓉 𝒷𝑒 𝒾𝓃 𝒶 𝒽𝓊𝓇𝓇𝓎, 𝒞𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹."
The White Tower Elemental chimed in, his tone was calm and unhurried.
The Void Elemental added.
"Yes, Little One. You Are Very Compatible With The Void Pathway, I'm Sure That It Will Take You Less Than A Year. Even Now, Your Spirituality Is Already Stable."
"They're right, kid. You're quite something, you know that?"
Juny only silently nodded.
In a way, Battle Elementalist is very similar to the previous Mysterious Caster.
She's been using the elements in order to fight since almost the beginning, which makes her body blend with the potion without resistance.
Of course, it did not digest like last time, Juny didn't have a way to use Elementals in her previous battles.
As such, she was not acting like a Battle Elementalist.
understand what you're saying, but I can still make at least three Body Doubles without a problem."
"... I c a n n o t b e l i e v e I a m a s k i n g t h i s, b u t c h i l d, d o y o u d i s l i k e f e e l i n g c o m f o r t a b l e?"
"Excuse me?"
Juny's eyes widened, staring at the Sun Pathway's Elemental.
"I 𝔥𝔞𝔳𝔢 𝔱𝔬 𝔞𝔠𝔱𝔲𝔞𝔩𝔩𝔶 𝔞𝔤𝔯𝔢𝔢 w𝔦𝔱𝔥 𝔱𝔥𝔢 S𝔲𝔫 𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔢. G𝔦𝔯𝔩, d𝔬 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔢𝔫𝔧𝔬𝔶 𝔢x𝔭𝔢𝔯𝔦𝔢𝔫𝔠𝔦𝔫𝔤 𝔭𝔞𝔦𝔫𝔣𝔲𝔩 𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔫𝔤𝔰?"
A yellowish-orange ball of light spoke up.
Its voice was deep and commanding, it was the Justiciar Pathway's Elemental.
Juny shook her head, harder than ever before.
"What? No! Of course not! Why would I do that? I hate pain!"
"Uh..."
"Is that so?"
"Sure, I Believe You, Little One."
"H̶e̶h̶, a̶s̶ y̶o̶u̶ s̶a̶y̶, K̶i̶d̶d̶o̶."
"𝕆𝕗 𝕔𝕠𝕦𝕣𝕤𝕖~ 𝕀 𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕕 𝕞𝕒𝕟𝕪 𝕡𝕖𝕠𝕡𝕝𝕖 𝕤𝕒𝕪 𝕤𝕦𝕔𝕙 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕤! 𝔻𝕠𝕟'𝕥 𝕨𝕠𝕣𝕣𝕪 𝔻𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕟', 𝕪𝕠𝕦'𝕣𝕖 𝕟𝕠𝕥 𝕚𝕟 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕒𝕝𝕠𝕟𝕖!"

"I hAvE aLsO sEeN mAnY lIkE YoU, yOu ArE aLl GoOd."
"I'm serious!"
"𝔐𝔥𝔪..."
...
"Pst!"
At the hissing sound, Shake turned to the side.
There he saw Dager, leaning his way while covering one side of his face with his hand and eyeing Juny.
"Hm?"
Dager moved his eyes to look at Shake before whispering.
"Doesn't Juny seem to be in a bad moon?"
Shake moved his eyes towards the head seat.
Juny sat there, resting her chin on her fist, propped up by her elbow on the armrest.
Her face was calm, almost emotionless, but her eye would twitch from time to time.
The space around her was also hazy, as if a mirage was happening.
It was the rift which sometimes happened when Juny affected her surroundings without meaning to.
Usually because of her emotions.
Shake's eyes narrowed.
"Something is definitely off..."
Juny was definitely in a bad mood, but the reason was different from what those by the table might think.
'Wow! Way to go, Kiddo! You actually made a freaking organization revolving all around you! I respect it!'
'Oh! Two Sanguine! And two others from the Moon Pathway! Introduce me! Introduce me!'
'W o w! T h a t l i t t l e S u n i s a d o r a b l e! C a n y o u s h a r e y o u r s e n s e s? I w a n t t o t a l k t o h i m.'
'HaHa, ArE yOu ReGrEtInG iT yEt, KiDdO?'

'Crack!'
The armrest shattered.
"Shut up!"
The whole place went silent, in and out of her head.
Those around the table were completely bewildered by Juny's sudden and unreasonable outburst.
But Juny didn't worry about their thoughts, not right now.
The space around her continued to rupture as she glared into seemingly empty space.
"Shut the f*ck up, or I swear I'll lock you back up and never let you out until you dissipate into the void!"
"..."
'...'
"..."
'Damn...'
"Uh, Scoutmaster? Are you alright?"
Juny's expression froze.
She turned to the closest chair on her right.
Dager sat there, looking up in utter disbelief.
The space around her rapidly returned to normal and even the armrest recovered.
"I'm good. Don't worry about it."
"..."
Those around the table shared concerned glances, but noone else dared to speak up.
Seeing that it all fell onto him, Dager looked back at Juny.
"So, uh... Did the Advancement succeed?"
'Crack!'
The armrest shattered.
Dager flinched away, as Juny's eye twitched.
She smiled, her teeth grinding against each other, but still smiling.
"Yes."
Dager looked at Shake, his eyes wide.
'What should I do?!'
Shake quickly shook his head.
'How should I know?'
The armrest recovered, as if nothing was wrong.
Juny strained her back, rubbing the bridge of her nose.
She sighed and looked up at what should be a ceiling.
'Okay, calm down Juny, calm down. Deep breaths.'
After a couple of breathing exercises, Juny looked back down.
Seeing the eyes, Juny held back a sigh.
"Okay, I apologize. Please ignore that and let's begin."
'H̶e̶h̶, I̶ w̶a̶s̶ w̶a̶i̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ f̶o̶r̶ t̶h̶e̶ K̶i̶d̶d̶o̶ t̶o̶ s̶n̶a̶p̶.'
'Pst!'
'𝒟𝑜𝓃'𝓉 𝓂𝒶𝓀𝑒 𝒽𝑒𝓇 𝒶𝓃𝑔𝓇𝒾𝑒𝓇!'
Seeing that the Elementals have calmed down, Juny could finally concentrate on the reports.
Since it was true that she was unable to create a Body Double for each of them, for now, Juny let them stay in her Pocket Dimension.
The Elementals didn't mind at all, they just wanted a change of environment, but Juny was starting to have second thoughts.
Darmine was the first one to speak up.
"We've come across a strange rumor on the road, so the Loen Scout Patrol has decided to take a detour to the South while on the way to Sivellaus County."
Degster looked at the short-furred black cat.
"What rumor?"
Darmine's whiskers twitched before answering.
"It was spread by passing merchants. The people of a secluded village have been acting strangely and paranormal activities began happening to the merchants and their goods. Food began spoiling and glass cracked for no reason."
The owl, Aeron, also added.
"The villagers are distant and drained of all vitality. They often lose sight of their emotions, boiling over at random times."
As Juny listened in thought, a voice rang in her mind.
It was crispy and filled with corruption, it was the Abyss Pathway's Elemental.
'AhA! sOuNdS lIkE aN eViL sPiRiT oF a DeMoN!'
Juny's eyes narrowed as she processed the information.
'Could it be?'
'WhAt? HeH, aM i NoT tRuStWoRtHy EnOuGh?'
'But it's too weak to be a Sequence 4 Demon's abilities.'
'Oh My. KiDdO. dId YoU nOt HeAr Me SaYiNg ThAt It'S aN eViL sPiRiT? oF cOuRsE iT's WeAkEr!'
'I guess it's better to be safe than sorry.'
Juny looked at Darmine, sharing what was just shared with her.
"It might be an Evil Spirit of the Abyss Pathway. Be careful and make sure to report regularly."
Darmine looked at her.
She was silent for a moment, contemplating.
She then nodded.
"I understand. Thank you, Scoutmaster."
'... It doesn't feel good since it wasn't my knowledge I just shared.'
'𝔸𝕨~ 𝕐𝕠𝕦 𝕔𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕒𝕝𝕨𝕒𝕪𝕤 𝕛𝕦𝕤𝕥 𝕥𝕖𝕝𝕝 𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕞 𝕒𝕓𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕖𝕩𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕟𝕔𝕖, 𝔻𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕟'~'
Juny's eye twitched.
'You, watch it.'
'How scary~ I'm getting the chills.'
'H̶e̶h̶, i̶s̶ t̶h̶a̶t̶ r̶i̶g̶h̶t̶?'
The conversation's theme changed.
Ellone's report contained successful handover of the curing potion while Dager shared his location and the fact that he was currently loading up supplies.
All in all, there was nothing much to report.
The Troop Meeting soon came to an end and Juny found herself 'alone' in her Pocket Dimension.
'So... What Do You Actually Do All Day?'
Juny looked at the Void Elemental before standing up.
"Well, I usually study, research or make Spell Scrolls for the rest. I also have to take care of the Dimensional Space and check the seals. Or, if I don't feel like doing that, I move around the outside in order to be able to use Space Transportation at any time to any place."
'Aha! So you're hobbyless! I so knew it.'
'D o y o u m e a n t h a t y o u u s e y o u r f r e e t i m e t o d o m o r e w o r k?'
"Well... You could say that?"
Juny stood up before creating a crack in space.
"Anyway, I'll see you later."
The outside of the portal was covered in snow and ice.
The Elementals stayed silent as Juny passed through and disappeared.
After a moment, one of them spoke.
The Elemental shone purple and was into the shape of a horizontal eye.
But to the other Elementals, it was a lady with long purple robes and six eyes.
It was the Hermit Pathway's Elemental which kept silent this whole time.
"ThaT GirL IS TrulY RespectablE. BuT I StilL FeeL ThaT It'S ToO MucH FoR SomeonE SO YounG."
A different lady looked at her.
She radiated frozen energy with pink hue, but it didn't affect her surroundings.
In the Elementals's view, it was an extraordinarily beautiful woman with long but frozen hair and blue snakes slithering around her body instead of clothes.
Her eyes were cracked and reflected multiple things at once, like shattered mirrors.
"𝕀 𝕨𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕤𝕒𝕪 𝕤𝕙𝕖'𝕤 𝕞𝕖𝕣𝕖𝕝𝕪 𝕒 𝕨𝕠𝕣𝕜𝕒𝕙𝕠𝕝𝕚𝕔~ 𝕄𝕪 𝔻𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕟' 𝕔𝕖𝕣𝕥𝕒𝕚𝕟𝕝𝕪 𝕔𝕒𝕟'𝕥 𝕥𝕒𝕜𝕖 𝕒 𝕛𝕠𝕜𝕖."
"Hah! Of course she can take a joke, yours just needed a rescue team, not an audience."
A man chimed in, a cheeky smirk plastered across his face.
His hair was orange and messy with the ends burning as if constantly on fire.
He had a tight shirt with short and loose pants.
The Demoness Elemental's lips twitched as she glared at him.
"Y̾oͦuͧ l̾oͦtͭ aͣrͬeͤ s̾oͦ iͥmͫmͫaͣtͭuͧrͬeͤ... Iͥ cͨaͣn̾'tͭ b𞀓eͤl̾iͥeͤv̾eͤ tͭhͪaͣtͭ y̾oͦuͧn̾g̾ g̾iͥrͬl̾ iͥs̾ tͭoͦuͧg̾hͪeͤrͬ tͭhͪaͣn̾ aͣl̾l̾ oͦf̾ y̾oͦuͧ cͨoͦmͫb𞀓iͥn̾eͤdͩ."
A deep voice came from behind.
It was an Elemental with light red glow.
He was a man with deep and muscular features and braided hair.
He carried three greatswords, two by his side and one on his back.
His eyes shone like the dawn.
He was the Twilight Giant Pathway's Elemental.
"Hey, watch it big guy."
Before the argument could escalate, an emotionless and gloomy voice spoke.
"...I̷ t̷h̷i̷n̷k̷ y̷o̷u̷'r̷e̷ a̷l̷l̷ m̷i̷s̷s̷i̷n̷g̷ t̷h̷e̷ m̷o̷s̷t̷ i̷m̷p̷o̷r̷t̷a̷n̷t̷ p̷o̷i̷n̷t̷..."
The man's skin was incorporeal and very pale.
His eyes were white and empty and his body was covered in bandages like a mummy.
The man seemed dead but his aura screamed crazy with slight purple hue.
It was an Elemental from the Chained Pathway.
"And what's that?"
The one to speak was a mature lady with bright ruby eyes and an elegant crown.
She wore a simple dress with moon and night elements.
Her nails were long and her hair pure black.
Instead of the Chained Elemental, a different woman answered.
"Of Course, It Was About Taking Care Of The Dimensional Space."
The Chained Elemental nodded along with the Void Elemental's words.
The Void Elemental was a tall woman with droopy translucent dress.
Underneath was nothingness with stars and colorful shades.
Her eyes were deep and never-ending while her hair was loosely floating around her.
"That Place Cannot Exist Without Care. The Seals Would Rupture And The Core Would Explode. Back Then, Tens Of People Were Appointed Just To Make It Function. That Little One Not Only Recovered It After Years Of Abandonment, But Also Took Care Of It All On Her Own."
A different Elemental shook at those words.
He was a young man with tidy hair and baggy clothes and a loose scarf.
There was a singular vertical eye on his face and he shone with dark Indigo color.
"Can-you-imagine-doing-that? It-sounds-like-so-much-work-and-dedication! I-can't-believe-a-small-child-did-all-of-that-on-her-own."
His voice was echoing and ethereal.
It was the Fool Pathway's Elemental.
"[Okay][I][get][it].[She's][cool][and][all],[but][that's][exactly][why][she's][suffering]![She][should][absolutely][be][more][laid][back]!"
A boy with a wicked smile spoke up.
His voice playful but his gaze sharp.
He seemed to be scanning everything while appearing leisurely, it'd give one the creeps.
He had a scholarly look, nerdy even.
If he didn't have multiple hands, each palm showed a differently timed clock.
It was the Error Pathway's Elemental.
As the many Elementals talked, a singular one kept silent.
It was an elderly man covered in white dragon-like scales.
He had pure white eyes with a singular thin pupil right in the middle.
The Visionary Pathway's Elemental watched on for a moment before cautiously looking to the side.
There was a small, almost nonexistent crack in the spreading galaxy.
His pupils slightly dilated as he slowly moved closer.
The corner of his, always emotionless, mouth twitched.
"Are you enjoying the debate?"
Juny smiled, but kept quiet.
Someone might say it was rude, but one would be stupid to invite strangers into their home and not be cautious.
After a few more minutes, Juny closed the crack and moved away from her spot.
She didn't plan on trusting nor doubting them too much.
After all, they were not humans, they had different thoughts from humans.
They were Elementals.
***
Battle Elementalist:
-A person may use Enchantments without the need for inscribing the Runes onto a surface.
- A person's spirituality is enlarged and they become very sensitive to all Domain-related occurrences in their surroundings
- All Enchantments may be Engraved without the need for physical contact beforehand
- A Battle Elementalist's abilities revolve around beings called 'Elementals'
-> Elementals are beings of pure elemental energy. They have intelligence, but their personalities are greatly connected to the elemental Domain with which they are connected. Elementals are the cause of why Beyonders may bend the nature around them.
-> Elementals usually stick close to Beyonders, especially those of higher Sequence, but they must be of the same Domain. Elementals feed off of spirituality radiance either in nature or from Beyonders directly.
-> Elementals keep close to places with great spirituality concentration.
-> The better connection one has to an Elemental, the greater the assistance they might receive in return.
-> Elementals may be forced to offer assistance, but they are intelligent beings capable of communicating between themselves, creating a grudge might not work well in the long run.
-Elemental Sense:
A person can see, hear, converse and make connections with surrounding Elementals. They might also offer and receive assistance. Elemental Vision may not be Engraved onto a Spell Scroll, but it may be directly Shared through physical contact.
This ability is passive and can be strengthened, but turning it off completely is impossible.
-Elemental Runes:
Engraving these Runes will allow an Elemental to directly influence objects. Only Elementals with which one has good connection should be asked for assistance with Elemental Runes.
-> Elemental Infusion:
A person is able to use Elemental Runes in order to create short term Domain Infusion. This Infusion is only possible with direct assistance and the consent of an Elemental. The longevity of the Elemental Infusion is dependent on the will of the Elemental present inside.
-> Elemental Attachment:
An Elemental may Attach itself to the body of a Battle Elementalist. In this case, visible Runic symbols will be Engraved on the Battle Elementalist skin. A person who has an Elemental Attached to their body will be able to freely use Beyonder abilities from that said Elemental's Domain with the help of Elemental Manifestation. Multiple Elementals may Attach themselves at once, making the Battle Elementalist able to use multiple Beyonder abilities from different Domains without any backlashes. A person may also communicate with the Attached Elementals using Self Telepathy (Self Telepathy explained by Body Partition).
-Elemental Manipulation:
A person can use and borrow Elementals's powers from certain Beyonder Domains, making mimicry and the bending of surrounding natural elements possible. Manipulating Elementals which are Attached to one's body is easier and without the risk of receiving penalty. A person may even disable the Beyonder powers of others or at least greatly weaken, making them unstable.
-Body Partition:
A person can tear apart and divide their own body to create perfect Body Doubles. Each Body Double is able to similarly part and double itself. The Main Body has complete control over its Body Doubles. The Body Doubles may also, with the permission of the Main Body, become possessed or receive a part of the Main Body's mind.
Elementals may also 'possess' these Body Doubles. One hour a day, at any picked time, a person's Main Body will enter 'sleep' to gain and process all which the Body Doubles did and gained through the day. The more Body Doubles there are, the longer or the less detailed this 'dream' will be. A person can also choose to leave out some of the Body Doubles out of this 'dream'.
A person's Main Body can destroy or replace a Body Double at any time and in any way they wish.
The Body Double receive 100% of the Main Body's personality and will also be aware and fine with the fact that they are merely a Body Double. If a Body Double perishes by means other than the Main Body's will, the Main Body will sustain damage and will have to pay sufficient penalty. All memories of the destroyed Body Double will also pour out, forcing the Main Body to 'dream'. The same Body Double may be recreated even after its destruction and it will keep its memories.
The Body Double's strength relates to how much spirituality the Main Body's wishes to insert. But, no matter the circumstances, the Body Double will at all times be weaker than the original.
-> Self Telepathy:
The main body may communicate with its body doubles through Self Telepathy. This communication can happen at any time. If there is more than a singular body double, a main body can pick which body double it wishes to communicate with. Body doubles may also communicate with a different body double, but there is a range restriction which is not present when trying to communicate with the main body.
- Space Manipulation (8 km, 500 kg)
Space Isolation (up to 25 km):
A person gains the knowledge of all Elementals present in the Isolated area, as well as their strength. They may also use Elemental Sense to call for them, as long as they are in the 25 km radius.
- Space Solidification (1 week):
A person can now immediately place Enchantments, Sorcery Runes or Elemental Runes onto the Solidified object, as long as the existences necessary for it's creation are present (and have given consent) before the Solidification takes place.
- Pocket Dimension (200 m, 500 c. m, 3 P. D.)
A person may now form separate Pocket Dimensions instead of a single one. The current limit is three Pocket Dimensions. The larger Pocket Dimensions one currently has, the smaller the next created Pocket Dimensions will be. Creation of a new Pocket Dimension requires great concentration and spirituality. The separate Pocket Dimensions may be connected to each other even as they are unrelated to each other.
-> Space Transportation:
Direct teleportation through portal is possible if a person has visited this place before, if a person possesses the coordinates of this place, if a person knows the vague location and has knowledge of its looks.
- Dimensional Reconstruction:
A person may create fully functional cycles with elements inside of a Pocket Dimension. Lifeless entities, such as water, soil, dirt, rock, ice, pure wood or even light may be directly created, but entities which possess living organisms or living characteristics, such as bugs, grass, flower, tree or any kind of plant may not be created without additional resources or assistance.
-> Enchantment Find:
A person can now see the environment the missing item is at and can also instinctively know its location without the need for a map or any other visual indication.
