Chapter 25: 25

The Endgame

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

The mystical place with a spreading Violet galaxy was unusually quiet.

Daimira gently clasped her trembling hands together.

It sounded crazy, but she couldn't help but believe it.

"Juny... are you saying that right here, in this city, they are trying to... summon a God?"

It sounded crazy, unbelievable, but Daimira's palms sweated because of the slim possibility that it's the truth.

Juny, feeling the atmosphere, gently shook her head.

"It might not be to that extent. Maybe they're just trying to summon part of the powers to do a partial possession."

"How is that better?"

Degster spoke up, his voice unusually irritated.

"People will die. Innocent people will die."

Ellone bit her lip, nodding.

"We have to contact the Church, they might be able to lower the amount of losses."

Juny leaned back.

"Will they believe us? Will they be able to keep it under the wraps? What if they have someone corrupted or someone who worships this Evil God? What if they turn against us. We might end up imprisoned. And we can't stay out of it either."

Juny's words were like sharp knifes.

The sentences were reasonable and filled with undoubtable truth, that's why they hurt so much.

Juny sighed.

"I will monitor closely, we need to know how long we have. If we have more than a month, we can try persuading the Church, but otherwise..."

Darmine slowly nodded.

"Seems like I need to hire more helpers..."

Juny looked at her, feeling guilty.

"I'm sorry."

Daimira gently shook her head.

"Don't, you'll be providing the Potion ingredients."

'Pft.'

Juny smiled, did the cat really just throw a joke her way?

She leaned back, looking at the 'ceiling'.

"Huuh... alright!"

'Clap!'

Juny clapped her hands, making most of those present flinch.

"Let's end it here for today! We'll be quite busy, so get some sleep and some rest, we'll meet again tomorrow."

She then turned to Shake and Kein.

"You two, you don't have to come as you're not in the city."

Shake frowned.

"We'll be participating in the fight tho, right?"

Juny opened and closed her mouth a few times.

"Do you have to?"

"Of course!"

Juny flinched before raising her hands.

"Alright, forget I said anything."

She then looked around.

"I'll see you tomorrow, 9pm."

Everyone exchanged glances before standing up.

Brielle seemed dazed, but wasn't slow to stand up this time.

They placed their right hand to their left chest and their left hand to their back.

"Yes, Scoutmaster."

Juny's eye twitched, but she smiled nonetheless.

'I hope nobody dies- hah... the Endgame is starting.'

...

"Where do you even find all these 'smart' animals?"

Juny couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the two cats, one dog and one large owl.

She turned to Darmine and Kalim.

Darmine tilted her small head.

"I already had them picked since a while ago, but I couldn't find a good time to tell you."

Juny nodded before looking at the ingredients next to her.

She frowned gently before speaking.

"I- ugh. I brought one Bard Potion, two Spectator Potions and one... Arbiter Potion? I can't believe you're making an animal take that one."

Juny eyed the black cat who didn't seem bothered.

"Why? It's useful. The Sheriff's characteristics I mean."

Juny massaged the bridge of her nose.

"Yea, but... you know that acting will be hard, right?"

Darmine looked her and tilted her head.

"How so?"

"Well, because- you know what? Never mind, forget it. I'll conduct the potions."

There was a reason why she chose Bard potion for the dog.

Both cats and owls could see in the dark, but that was not the case for dogs.

Which is why she had to choose pathways which gain Night Vision early.

Sleepless is a good choice, because it has great Night Vision from Sequence 9.

Although the Sun Pathway only gains Night Vision at Sequence 8, it's still early enough.

Juny conducted the potions and placed them before the animals.

The Bard potion for the large dog, the Arbiter potion for the owl and the two Spectator potions for the cats.

Seeing them moving to drink it, Juny gently placed her hand underneath her coat.

The fact that she did it twice already didn't mean that it wasn't dangerous.

Those animals could blow up or turn into monsters at any point.

As she waited for the results, Juny probed Daimira.

"Did they choose a name yet?"

Daimira looked at the cautious girl before nodding.

"Yes, the white cat with short fur and black spots is Myra. The boy owl is Aeron. The gray cat with white paw is Warder and the black dog is Serra."

Juny hummed.

"Got it... You're not going to give them titles, right?"

Daimira shook her head.

"No, I don't plan on doing that."

Juny nodded, slightly relieved.

"Did you... wash them?"

Darmine turned towards the living room before nodding.

"Yes, Tarkel helped."

Juny gently caressed her forehead, but stayed silent.

Juny, with her Material Vision, could see the four animals's inner spirituality calming.

'What the hell? They all succeeded?'

Juny looked at Darmine with exasperation.

Darmine gently lifted the side of her mouth, which was weird since she was a cat.

"I told you I only pick the smart ones."

'What does that even mean at this point?!'

Juny was silent, watching the four animals with cautious eyes.

'Please don't talk, please don't talk.'

The animals shared looks but none of them used human speech.

Juny inwardly breathed a sigh of relief.

'Alright.'

Juny turned around, taking a set of different ingredients.

It was the fruit of the Tree of Elders, a brown and golden fruit with an appearance similar to an apple.

Next to it was a pair of eyes from a Mirror Dragon, two purple irises with pointed pupils.

During conduction of the potion, Juny made sure to Manipulate the spirituality so that the potion would be better than perfect.

It was a kind of mixing that was only possible with a Demigod level of spirituality Manipulation.

The finished potion was poured into a bowl.

It was a slightly golden liquid which rippled like a gigantic pointed pupil, staring right through everyone's hearts.

Juny gently placed the bowl down before Darmine.

It was a Psychiatrist Potion.

Juny watched Darmine's fur turning harder and taking the form of dragon scales.

There was a kind of dominating feeling coming from Darmine, but that was all.

No incident occurred as Darmine's spirituality whirred and calmed down.

Juny let out a gentle sigh of relief as she took the five bowls.

She cleaned them before bidding farewell, she was quite busy after all.

Darmine watched her disappear into the strange galaxy-like portal.

She then heard an unfamiliar voice.

"Why did you want us to be quiet?"

Darmine turned her small head to look at the white cat with black spots.

She then looked back to where Juny just disappeared.

"She might've freaked out if you did."

...

'In the Era of the Roaming Divinities, when Gods and monsters walked as sovereigns and elves and giants ruled above the fragile kind of Men, there was 'She'.

(The Goddess of Cosmos, The Queen of Galaxies, The Great Old One: Mater of All Creation.)

For countless ages, 'She' ruled with wisdom and power unfathomable to even the mightiest of divine beings.

The Void Pathway, a force as ancient as the first spark of existence, pulsed with immeasurable potential under Her dominion.

This Pathway was no mere tool—it was the breath of creation, the heartbeat of all realms, linking dimensions, space, and the ephemeral threads of existence.

'She' wielded this power not as a weapon but as a sacred trust, balancing creation and destruction, light and shadow.

Through Her Holy Sefirot: World of Authority, 'She' gave structure and order to the realms, weaving a fabric of harmony.

Through Her Uniqueness: The Endless Vessel, 'She' contained and concealed all that threatened this harmony, trapping within it what could not be destroyed.

Yet, even the divine cannot escape the ravages of time, greed, and ambition.

The wars began subtly at first—skirmishes between rival deities, the overreach of monsters, and the scheming of mortals who sought dominion over what they could not understand.

Over time, these conflicts escalated, and the Void Pathway became a prize for the ambitious and the arrogant.

'She' watched as elves and giants, once noble and wise, turned their gaze to the Pathway, seeing not its sanctity but its potential for conquest.

Gods who once revered 'Her' Name now sought to wrest the Pathway's secrets, eager to twist its power to fuel their own ambitions.

Even mortals, fragile, fleeting beings, dared to challenge the celestial order, their avarice surpassing their understanding.

Each battle frayed the delicate strands of creation. Each misuse of the Void Pathway unraveled the order 'She' had so carefully maintained.

The realms trembled under the weight of greed and chaos.

It was in this time of despair that 'She' spoke to Her most faithful servant, the Angel Lapis.

Lapis knelt before 'Her', his mystical galactic wings spread wide in devotion.

He was the first of Her angels, created by 'Her' own hand, a being of pure light and unwavering resolve.

For millennia, he had served as Her protector, voice, and enforcer, carrying out Her will without hesitation.

"Lapis,"

'She' said, Her voice resonating like the songs of stars collapsing into silence.

"The time has come for me to depart."

At these words, the Angel wept, for he knew the weight of what 'She' intended.

"My Lady, surely there is another way. The realms cannot endure without You. The Void Pathway cannot be entrusted to any other but You."

'She' placed a hand upon his brow, Her touch filling him with both sorrow and strength.

"I am no longer enough,"

'She' spoke.

Her voice was ethereal and calming, like gentle rain drops in the night.

"The power I bear has become a beacon for destruction. As long as I exist, the wars will continue. If I am to save what remains, I must relinquish all that I am."

'She' spoke then of Her plan:

to sacrifice Herself utterly, erasing not only Her existence but all memories of Her connection to the Void Pathway. Before 'She' vanished, 'She' would entrust its guardianship to Lapis and his descendants.

"You, my most faithful, shall guard this power in my absence. To you and your bloodline, I bestow this duty to protect the Void Pathway. Hide it from all who would misuse it. Let no one outside your line wield it, for none but your blood can bear the weight of this burden."

In a moment that would never be recorded in mortal memory, 'She' gathered all the dimensions into Her grasp.

The heavens darkened as the stars dimmed, and a profound silence fell over all creation.

It was a silence that even the Gods dared not break, for they knew they were witnessing an event beyond comprehension.

'She' stood at the center of all things, the Void Pathway shimmering in Her hands like a living constellation.

Through Her Holy Sefirot, The World of Authority, 'She' wove a final command into the fabric of existence:

"Let this power belong to none but the blood of Lapis.

Let those who seek to steal it find only emptiness.

Let those who betray this trust vanish into the Void."

Through Her Uniqueness, 'She' created the ultimate failsafe.

The Endless Vessel opened, and into it 'She' poured the memories, knowledge, and remains of all that pertained to the Void Pathway.

If ever the curse should break, all that was bound to it would disappear into the Vessel, beyond all reach.

And then, 'She' was gone.

The realms trembled as the light of 'She' faded.

The stars wept, the oceans roared, and the very earth cracked as the fabric of reality adjusted to Her absence.

Yet, in the void left behind, there was peace, a fragile and aching peace, but peace nonetheless.

With 'Her' sacrifice, the burden fell to Lapis and his descendants.

The Angel wept for the loss of 'Her', but he vowed to honor Her command.

He returned to the mortal plane, bearing the remnants of Her power: the ownerless Holy Sefirot and the Endless Vessel.

The Lapis family was born that day, bound by an eternal curse:

1. Only those of Lapis blood may wield the Void Pathway.

2. The curse shall be unspoken and unseen. To reveal it is to invoke destruction.

3. Upon the death of a bearer, all traces of their connection to the Void Pathway shall vanish.

To enforce this covenant, the Lapis family wove the curse into the World of Authority, ensuring that its power would be self-sustaining, unbreakable, and incorruptible.

They used the Endless Vessel as the final safeguard, a void into which all cursed things would disappear if the balance were ever disrupted.

As generations would pass, the name of Lapis would become both a blessing and a burden.

They would be forced to live in utter secrecy, their lives dedicated to a duty few could understand.

They could not reveal their purpose, for the curse forbade it.

They could not falter, for the consequences were too dire.

Though 'She' was gone, Her will would endure in the bloodline of Lapis.

The family would become silent guardians, their lives a testament to Her sacrifice.

In the dark corners of history, their influence could be glimpsed: a war averted here, a tyrant dethroned there, all without the world knowing the truth of their intervention.

The Lapis family would bore their burden with quiet dignity, their existence a living memorial to the Goddess they had loved and lost.

*"Though I am no longer, my will endures. The Lapis name shall stand eternal, a quiet guardianover a power too vast for mortal comprehension. Protect the Void Pathway, my children of Lapis, and let not the greed of gods, monsters, or men undo what has been sacrificed.

For I am 'She', and my light is now the Void."*'

Juny stared at the text for a while before yawning.

'I wonder how much of this is actually true.'

Although she thought like that, she couldn't help but deeply respect the Queen of Galaxies.

Whether the texts were exaggerating or not, what 'She' did was anything but selfish.

The Void Pathway is a complete Pathway.

It's a Pathway which directly came from the Queen of Galaxies and the Great Old One: Master of All Creation.

Since it was a complete Pathway, all necessary for becoming the Great Old One was the Sefirot.

Juny turned her head up, looking at the Cyan galaxy spreading above her.

While reading this, Juny had an important question.

'I've read in many books and documents that one needs... what was it, an Anchor? So that they wouldn't lose themselves to the original wielder of their Pathway, but... Since the Queen is death, do I really need Anchors to fight her? Or are Anchors just necessary to not lose Humanity in general?'

As her thoughts wandered, Juny stood up.

She neatly organized the ancient scrolls and documents.

Most of them were either fairytales or complete bullsh*t.

Or, at least from Juny's perspective.

She couldn't help but feel bad for The Goddess of Cosmos.

'I don't think it influenced the wars much, there are still 22 other Pathways after all.'

But it certainly stopped The Void Pathway from being abused.

Juny returned the papers and left the restricted area in the Dimensional Space.

She soon returned to the desk before creating a door and exiting.

As she stepped outside, Juny looked at the clock.

'Exactly 2:58 pm. Damn, I'm good.'

With that, Juny sat behind her desk, pondering.

'It's so much worse than we thought. They are too close to success. Too close...'

Juny gently frowned, tapping the table with her finger.

"We have less than two weeks... I'll have to excuse myself from the next week's Tarot Gathering."

As she said that, her vision turned crimson and she soon found herself surrounded by thick gray fog.

Immediately, Juny heard the cheerful voice of Miss Justice.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Fool! Good afternoon, Mr. Hanged Man! Good afternoon, Miss High Priestess! Good afternoon, Mr. Sun!"

Juny smiled, returning the greeting together with rest of those present.

After the 'Hellos' were exchanged, Miss Justice spoke with Mr. Fool's permission.

"Honorable Mr. Fool, I wonder if your adorer received the compensation of 300 pounds?"

Mr. Fool spoke with a smile.

"I didn't pay close attention to this matter. But as my adorer didn't request for additional help, I suppose he has received it."

Juny did her best not to subconsciously translate Mr. Fool's words into the commoners's tongue.

"That's great!"

Miss Justice obviously relaxed as she turned to Mr. Hanged Man.

"Mr. Hanged Man, there's been progress regarding Qilangos."

Mr. Hanged Man suddenly sat up straight.

"Where is he?"

He couldn't hide the excitement noticeable in his voice.

Miss Justice thought for a moment before describing the most important highlights.

"- ...Unfortunately, he noticed our investigation just after we discovered his tracks. He killed one of the personnel involved."

Mr. Hanged Man faintly nodded.

"I'll pay close attention."

He then turned to look towards the Seat of Honor.

"Honorable Mr. Fool, if I were to find out Qilangos's true intention and the very important and magical item that he intends to obtain, please allow me to recite your name to inform you through the ritual."

Juny didn't even bother to point out the lack of necessity to do that.

Mr. Fool leaned back into his chair and nodded gently.

"You may."

Juny saw Mr. Hanged Man heave a sigh of relief before lowering his head.

"Please allow me to thank you in advance."

Mr. Fool propped his right leg over his leg.

Mr. Hanged Man looked up and back at Mr. Fool.

"I'm about to receive a batch of pages from the Emperor Roselle's diary. I believe that I can present them to you in the next gathering, or the gathering after that."

Mr. Fool lightly nodded, joy coloring his tone.

"Very good."

Right as the conversation between the two men ended, Miss Justice spoke up.

"Honorable Mr. Fool, may I recite your name and inform you using a ritual should I receive any timely and useful information?"

Mr. Fool gently nodded, still covered in the thick gray fog.

"You may."

Mr. Fool then turned to Juny and Mr. Sun.

"The same goes for you as well."

'What...?'

Although puzzled how this had anything to do with her, Juny still slightly lowered her head.

Mr. Sun did the same, but bowed much deeper.

"Yes, Mr. Fool."

The place then went silent for a few seconds before Miss Justice spoke.

"I need the complete pituitary gland of a Rainbow Salamander."

Mr. Hanged Man nodded, as if contemplating while Mr. Sun replied.

"I don't have it. To be honest, I've only seen this creature in textbooks."

Juny nodded, as if it was obvious.

Mr. Hanged Man glanced both at Mr. Fool and Miss Justice.

"I might have a way of obtaining the complete pituitary gland of the Rainbow Salamander. But it's under the premise that Qilangos is found. When the time comes, the complete pituitary gland of the Rainbow Salamander would be equivalent to the extra compensation that I owe you."

"Miss Justice, you might now know, but these creatures are nearly extinct, and we can only find traces of them in primitive islands in the Sea of Fog, the Berserk Sea, or the Sonia Sea. Not many people have the coordinates to these Islands. Heh, if you're interested, we can make a deal, for I am one of the few who knows how to get there."

Miss Justice seemed thrilled.

"I once dreamed of going on a voyage in search of these primitive islands to take in the history."

She then paused, collecting herself, before asking curiously.

"Does the near-extinction of the Rainbow Salamander mean that the Spectator pathway will be severed soon?"

Juny shook her head while Mr. Hanged Man gave a definitive answer.

"No, there will definitely be substitute materials."

"What substitute materials are there?"

Miss Justice's eyes seemed to brighten while Juny turned gloomy.

'Substitute, huh? It's Beyonder lives, those ingredients.'

Completely ignoring Juny's mind, Mr. Hanged Man shook his head.

"I don't know. Perhaps the members of the Psychology Alchemists might know."

"Then how can you be sure that there will be substitute ingredients?"

Miss Justice asked, not understanding.

Mr. Hanged Man chuckled.

"You will understand in time. Or do you have something to trade for the information now?"

"I guess I'll wait."

Miss Justice sighed, pouting.

Juny exhaled, gently lifting her hand.

"I also have ways to get the Rainbow Salamander's complete pituitary gland."

Juny quickly went over the Beyonder Ingredients from the Low-Sequences which she currently had.

'There is one Telepathist Beyonder characteristic, two Rainbow Salamander's glands and 15 millimeters of Farsman Rabbit's spinal fluid. That's like two potion's worth.'

Miss Justice looked her way.

"Truly?"

Slight interest could be heard in her tone.

Juny nodded, not changing her expression.

"Yes, but I'm unsure of how I would deliver it to you. Nor do I think you have the means to fulfill my requests. I believe that choosing Mr. Hanged Man's offer would be more beneficial."

Miss Justice tilted her head with a light frown.

"What do you mean by- I mean. May I ask what your request is first?"

Juny's eye lightly twitched as she smiled.

"Inform the Church of the Earth Mother that a cult is planning to summon an Evil God underneath the Feynapotter city next week."

Everyone flinched, including Mr. Fool.

Although Mr. Sun didn't know what the Church of the Earth Mother was, nor where the Feynapotter City was, summoning and Evil God in the same sentence wasn't good.

Seeing the baffled reaction, Juny chuckled.

She leaned back, smiling brightly.

"I was just joking. If an Evil God was being summoned, the Church would know first."

Juny felt slightly better, as if her current situation turned into fiction.

It was sometimes nice to just escape one's current predicaments, even if only for a second.

Everyone soon moved on from Juny's 'joke', but Mr. Hanged Man continued eyeing her with strange gaze.

Mr. Fool scanned the ones present before looking at Mr. Sun.

"Does the City of Silver still believe in gods?"

His voice was gentle.

Mr. Sun replied in a respectful tone.

"We still believe in the Lord that created everything, the omnipotent and omniscient God."

Juny saw Miss Justice look pleased while Mr. Hanged Man was slightly nodding.

Mr. Fool then chuckled, asking in reply.

"Even though 'He' abandoned you?"

Juny almost slammed into the table in surprise.

'Can you even say that? You literally just exposed his location!'

As if to prove her point, Mr. Hanged Man was first surprised before having an expression equivalent to a 'light bulb moment'.

Mr. Sun seemed slightly down as he spoke in an uncertain tone.

"Yes, we believe that we will regain the Lord's favor in the end. Perhaps, it will be on the day the sun rises again. We were once ruled by the giants's royal family, and we worshipped the Giant King Aurmir. Later, we were saved by the Lord and we will never betray the Lord again."

Juny silently sighed, leaning into the seat of her chair.

'Poor residents of the Forsaken Land of the Gods... How long they must've spent in complete darkness?'

Mr. Fool seemed to deliberate something before asking calmly.

"Do you still offer sacrifices to this omnipotent God?"

"Yes, we still do. But since the day we were abandoned, we have never gotten any response."

Mr. Sun's voice carried a hint of unconcealed pain.

'God damn... that's tragic. Well, that God IS dead, so...'

Juny kept her, very rude, statement to herself.

Mr. Fool leisurely leaned back.

"Describe the process of your offering ritual in detail."

Juny listened to the long description with a blank stare.

'Are you trying to find a way for us to sacrifice things to you? Really..? And do you really have to steal another God's ritual? Again?'

Juny sighed quietly, feeling the pressure coming back as the gathering ended and her vision flashed crimson.

She caressed her hands and checked her spirituality.

Seeing that it has almost completely recovered, Juny stood up.

She took out and skimmed through a stack of documents.

It was an organized report from Darmine and her Scout Patrol.

She created a small opening in space before her.

She could see a room from a certain bar on the other side.

Making sure that no outsiders were present, Juny enlarged the door and walked through.

Degster flinched and immediately stood up.

Natia, who was just brewing tea, also flinched, but thankfully didn't spill anything.

"Is there something, Juny?"

Degster frowned.

He was on his short break after rummaging through the black market and underground connections.

Juny looked around before making an apologetic expression.

"Is it your break? I am sorry, I thought today's was Shake- never mind. Sorry, I'll come back later."

"You, ugh... What is it?"

Degster rubbed his forehead, unable to send Juny away.

It was mostly because Juny's been moving all around the place without a proper break while making sure others had theirs.

Although she had the excuse of being a Demigod, it was still unhealthy.

Juny gently placed down the documents.

"You don't have to read it immediately. If you wish, I can tell you the details, but that will have to wait. Hm. It's a report from Darmine's Scout Patrol. There's also a bit from Dager, Daimira and the Sanguine. But I only picked the most important parts. Strange symbols radiating corrosive spirituality started appearing in the back alleys or the slums. I checked it out and it gives root to overwhelming desires and negative emotions inside of nearby residents."

"Then there are infected, or corrupted which the Scout Patrol took notice of. It might be useful for you, so I slightly organized it and got rid of unnecessary details. Oh, and there're few reports you should take look at when you get the time. It's about the beliefs and support. Seems like there's a fraction of Rose School of Thought backing them. Yes, there will be the converted Sanguine. I can't be sure, but I'll need you to join with Shake to take care of them. They can't interact with Daimira and her Battle Patrol."

Juny fell into thought, trying to see if she forgot something.

Degster quietly waited the three seconds before she nodded.

"Alright, that's all. Sorry for the disturbance."

Juny smiled before turning around.

"Juny?"

Hearing Natia's voice, Juny looked back.

"Yes?"

"Do you want tea?"

Natia motioned towards the cups and the steaming teapot.

Juny shook her head.

"No thank you, I wouldn't have time to enjoy it anyway."

Natia nodded, covering up her displeasure.

"Alright then, have a save trip."

"Thank you."

Juny gave her a wave as she disappeared into the galaxy-styled door.

Natia poured the tea before looking down at the documents.

Degster was already going through them.

"She said you don't have to do it, we're on break."

She said as she sat opposite him, placing a cup on his right.

Degster hummed, taking a sip.

"As if I can do that... F*ck! Someone should really forbid the busiest person from delivering others's work."

Natia nodded, taking the second half of the stack.

"Well, at least she has the time to deliver the work."

Degster looked up at her, raising an eyebrow.

"Natia, Juny literally just told us that she's too busy to have tea. Tea!"

Natia flinched, her gaze moving towards the teapot.

"Okay, you don't have to repeat it, I get your point."

...

"The Fool that doesn't belong to this era,

You are the mysterious ruler above the gray fog;

You are the King of Yellow and Black who wields good luck.

I pray for Your attention.

I pray for You to listen.

Honorable Mr. Fool, I must apologize, but due to certain circumstances, I will not be able to participate in the upcoming Tarot gathering. Please excuse me."

Just as she finished mumbling under her breath, Juny heard a call.

"Juny? What are you doing there?"

Nothing."

As she turned around, Juny's vision flashed crimson and gray fog filled her surroundings.

She could see a towering figure sitting in the Seat of Honor behind a long bronze mottled table.

"I am aware."

His voice was staid as all surroundings returned to normal.

Juny breathed a sigh of relief before walking through the portal made with Space Transportation.

She appeared before a mansion on 126 Gland street in the Dartel division.

A total of five people stood around her, the rest was at their posts.

Juny looked to her left.

She saw Dager, who called for her mere seconds ago.

He gave her a humorous smile before turning serious.

He was silent and seemed calm, but his hands were sweating.

Juny let out an audible sigh.

Everyone around her turned.

"Is something wrong?"

Ellone asked, looking concerned.

Juny gave her a look.

"Please don't ask me that."

She forced a smile.

The night was cold, Juny felt a deep chill down her spine, even though her skin was too thick to be influenced by the wind.

Juny gently rubbed the bridge of her nose.

She could see the crimson moon towering above the houses.

A deep male voice sounded from next to her.

"Do you think the Church will do as we asked?"

Degster really wasn't one who got too deeply into religion.

Juny shrugged, still smiling.

"Who knows? I won't blame them if they don't. But it could save us trouble if they do."

Degster nodded, but Juny continued.

"... after all, there is a limit to how much I can isolate."

Daimira looked at her, caressing a potion.

"Why don't you use a scroll? You'll run out of spirituality."

Juny smirked, spreading out her spirituality.

"Only High-Sequence level Space Isolation can cover the entire range while also separating all non-Beyonders. And out of everyone, noone else has the capacity to handle the impact."

As she said that, Juny felt a strong quake spreading out from the mansion and from deep underground.

As if she was waiting, she activated the Space Isolation of almost 5 kilometers.

She slowly went through all Isolated existences and un-Isolated any non-Beyonders.

As she did so, the large door of the mansion opened.

She could hear an older but heavy voice.

"Heh, seems like they're inviting us in."

Behind the door stood many figures.

Some even appeared from the end of the street and others from a nearby alley.

Some jumped over the fence and some calmly walked out.

Juny nodded at Shake's statement.

She then snapped her fingers.

A large Violet-black galaxy-styled door appeared behind her.

Those who weren't given a post beforehand walked out.

Whether it was Dager's group, Daimira's Sanguine or Shake's team.

It would be a large scale fight.

And both sides were ready for it.

Juny smirked, thinking of all the shows she watched in her past world.

As another earthquake struck and shook the ground, the bright crimson moon intensified.

Juny could feel a chill creeping up her spine.

She could feel something coming, something which should stay away.

Juny's features slowly turned shadowy and indistinguishable.

"Good luck."

Dager looked at her, his face turned cheeky.

"Don't die."

Juny smiled, nodding.

Then slowly, her body faded and disappeared.

She had a place where she had to fight, but that place was not this large-scale battlefield.

Juny's body flashed into existence inside of a dark hallway.

It was quite narrow and without much light.

She stood in front of a doorway.

Her arms were covered in goosebumps.

'This is the Endgame.'
