Chapter 1: 1

As she returned to the house's porch, Juny picked up the handmade bag and walked in, closing the door behind her.

The view of the room's interior once again filled her eyes. She swiftly maneuvered through the dark environment.

Putting the bag beside a desk she rummaged through multiple drawers before pulling out three candles.

'We normally used gas lamps, but they're all broken.'

Juny couldn't help but sigh in contempt before pulling out a match box she found in mr. No-Forearms' coat.

She lit the candles and placed them on different furnishings inside the large room, lighting up pretty much the whole area.

After heaving a sigh of relief at her newfound vision she picked up a chair and sat down before the desk.

The moment she sat down and placed her hands on the desk, her eyelids naturally began to drop.

"Ugh."

Juny groaned in annoyance, lightly slapping her cheeks to wake up.

She still had one question to resolve before she could allow herself to rest.

Going through Kailas memories, right as she lost her mind and turned into a monster, strange information flooded her mind.

Until now, Juny didn't have the time to go through this seemingly random, but also important knowledge.

She started tapping the wooden desk with her finger in a staid rhythm.

It was a habit of hers to help with thinking, while also serving as a distraction from her fatigue.

The tapping stopped as Juny reached out to grab a pen and a piece of paper, penning down her thoughts.

'Martial Master'

"...What the hell? A what master? Is this some sort of Martial arts world now? Am I about to start meditating to ascend to a higher state of consciousness, or what?"

Snorting, she continued moving her hand.

'Stronger and tougher body with quicker movement. Understanding of hand to hand combat as well as any weapon I make contact with.'

Juny's hand stopped as she scratched her head with the back of the pen.

"A shovel counts as a weapon? Really? ...I guess I should have known. Lloyd was right all along!"

After chuckling at a joke noone around her would understand, she went back to thinking.

"But nothing like that happened with a gun. Although, I guess a martial artist wouldn't be carrying around something like that."

She paused before scribbling down.

'Historical weapons'

"..."

'Historical weapons and tools?'

Juny's lips twitched slightly before continuing.

'Better reflexes during combat.'

"That's ...useful? Why only combat though? It would be quite useful during day to day life too!"

After taking a deep breath she moved her hand down to create a space.

'Space Bender'

"..."

"... Space, Bender?"

"..."

"Avatar?"

"..."

"Is someone f*cking with me?"

Juny suddenly couldn't help but question if she's not just having a weird dream after falling into a coma.

"..Cough! Cough!

A few fake coughs later, she went back to writing.

'More spirituality and-'

Looking down, Juny couldn't help but frown.

"Okay now I know it's not a dream. A spiri-what now? I'm a spirit? Or I have more spirit?"

After a few seconds of questioning she exclaimed.

"What the hell is spirituality?!"

Putting her pen down Juny looked around, her gaze landing on the books scattered across the ground.

"If I continue like this, I'll just end up making food out of water."

She knew all the books here were normal, she went through all of them before.

"Even so, that woman was a superhuman, she must've made some sort of notes... although she would probably burn something like that."

After a short moment, Juny naturally closed her eyes.

After staying like that for a while, she suddenly got up.

Walking towards a dark red carpet.

'There's something there.'

Throwing away the carpet she saw a wooden door.

'Pft, a hidden door underneath the carpet? What a cliché."

Shaking her head in disappointment, Juny stuck her fingers into a space between the planks before pulling the door up.

Looking down she saw... nothing.

Juny's eye twitched. Halfway mad that she got baited and halfway embarrassed that she expected the woman to use this sort of hiding spot to store her things.

After clicking her tongue, she put the plank back into its previous spot before covering it with the rug.

Juny gently massaged the bridge of her nose before freezing. She quickly rummaged through her pockets and pulled out a beautiful black necklace with a Lapis color and starry-like decoration.

As soon as she held it, she felt a strong throbbing resonate through her hands.

The ornament was pulsing and causing gentle Azure ripples to spread out.

For unknown reason, her hands began to shake.

Juny immediately tensed up, sensing something amiss.

Her vision flickered like broken lights as a scene flashed in front of her eyes.

It was a scene multiple seconds long, yet it didn't take her more than half a second to comprehend it.

Far from a window a deep-red pair of eyes was silently staring at the wooden cabin.

The eyes were filled with strong malice that send shivers down Juny's spine.

Almost without thinking she ran to the desk and stuffed the paper into her bag.

The reason was that, for her own comfort, she wrote her notes in english. And, although she didn't know all of the languages in this world, she deeply doubted that a language identical to the English language existed.

As she grabbed the bag her legs shook, she could only bite her lips in distress before casting her gaze onto the black necklace in her hand.

Feeling like a lost puppy, Juny simply closed her eyes and allowed her intuition to guide her.

Immediately after, she felt a slight tingling in her fingertips as something seemed to be leaving her body and fusing with the necklace.

Opening her eyes, she saw a cyan-black galaxy spread out in front of her. It was vaguely shaped like a door.

Juny was stunned. She froze up, admiring the beautiful blending of colors.

Before she could naturally wake up from her daze, a cold feeling spread into her very core from the back of her neck.

It was as if someone was holding the tip their blade against her skin.

Without a second thought, and while holding the handmade bag, she jumped forward and into the space-like door.

The power naturally stopped seeping out of her hand the moment she started moving.

The door began shrinking at a rapid speed.

Closely after her feet passed through, the cosmic door fully closed.

'Crash!'

The bag fell heavily on the ground, spilling out every important and unimportant object inside.

Likewise, Juny smashed into the floor head first. Although she protected her head with her arms, she still felt the impact.

"Haa, Haa."

Not daring to relax despite her intuition calming down she stood up, wobbling to the sides, but still standing.

Her eyes moved around in fright, only to freeze in astonishment.

The whole cosmos seemed to be spreading open in front of her, it's only that this galaxy was filled with bookshelves as well as regular shelves stuffed with boxes and storages.

Snapping out of her wonder, Juny pressed her shaking fingers onto the side of her neck.

Her hands were ice cold and her neck unreasonably hot.

Pressing her middle and index fingers down, she felt her pulse.

It was fast, her heart was beating too fast.

"Ha."

She couldn't help but scoff.

"This is like that one time my stupid PE teacher made me run multiple laps in the middle of winter."

Gulping down her leftover fear, Juny suddenly came to an understanding.

'What- What would've happened if I decided to sleep?'

Her body shook, and soon, she had another disturbing realization.

'What if I never stopped writing to open that secret door?'

Juny suddenly felt her heart in her mouth, she couldn't help but silently praise her instinct.

Although she had no idea what those eyes were and, in reality, it was just a feeling. At that very moment, nothing was truly amiss.

But maybe that's precisely why her back was drenched in sweat.

'It was just a feeling.'

Her eyes moved to the black necklace in her hand.

"That feeling was the only thing separating me from death."

Juny took a deep breath and looked around again.

There was a large amount of books, wooden boxes, shelves, metal containers and other furnishings. There seemed to be some order in their placement, but she couldn't comprehend it right now.

She picked up the handmade bag and quickly threw the fallen items back inside.

After checking that she hasn't lost anything, she heaved another sigh of relief.

Although Juny had almost no intelligence on this world, she knew a thing or two about conflicts.

'I killed and looted their men so they sent someone to get rid of me.'

"Not too complicated."

Juny repeatedly clenched and unclenched her palm as she begun walking.

She wandered aimlessly, fully trusting her intuition.

She finally stopped in front of a desk, a long desk. With books, papers and pens neatly arranged in different corners.

In the middle of the desk was an open book. It seemed like a journal of sorts.

Juny sat down and closed the book, taking a look at the cover.

'Family Journal of Mari from the Lapis bloodline'

"Mari-"

Noticing the name of her recently deceased mother, she breathed out before coming to a sudden stop.

'How can I read this?'

Looking back at the text, her brows furrowed.

"Kalia might've been smart but she still only knew Highlander and some Loenese. This is neither of them."

"And I'm sure as hell that I never studied something like this back on earth... Wait!"

She slammed her hand down on the table before moving her head closer to the text, scanning it throughly.

"I know this! I saw this type of symbols before! It was that weird book!"

A roaring yell resonated through the galaxy-styled room. Juny slapped her forehead before screaming again.

"How did I not realize?! Highlander and Loenese were there too! For god's sake, no wonder it was called World's languages but only had translations of words in English and the rest was gibberish!"

She grabbed her hair before gently pulling it.

"Is that cursed book the reason why I'm here?! Is it like a boon of sorts? Damn..."

She lightly banged her fist on the table before stopping.

"That's not too bad, kind of cool actually. Would've been very useful in school so that I wouldn't have such a hard time learning French."

As her irritation wore off she smirked.

"Haha, I'm absolutely gonna flex on Vanessa with this! She's gonna tear her-"

Out of nowhere, Juny's expression sank.

"...My best friend I-"

She lightly bit her lip as her eyes turned down. Her finger tips were slightly trembling.

"I probably won't see her again, huh? Nor my family.."

Amidst her mumbling she felt a lump begin to form in her throat.

"I- I don't want that! I take it back! This is not cool! Not even a bit!"

'Bam!'

As she jumped up the chair fell down, although that didn't interest Juny in the slightest.

"Take your f*cking knowledge back! I don't want it! I just- I, I..."

Slowly, Juny's voice grew softer. She could feel her eyes fill with tears.

"I just want to go back home..."

Her vocal cords were burning as she bit her lips.

Not long after, she could taste blood in her mouth.

Moving her hand to touch her mouth, she touched something wet.

Looking down at her hand, she saw blood. Clean, crimson blood.

Her lip tore open. She sighed. Her breath haggard.

Juny quickly wiped the corner of her eyes before licking her lips.

She swiftly turned around and picked up the chair, using the time to calm herself down.

'Glad noone saw that.'

She snorted and sat down in front of the desk.

"I haven't had such an emotional breakdown in a while."

Forcing a smile, she once again read the title of the book.

After getting back on track, she heaved a sigh.

"Please excuse me."

Apologizing for invading a dead's privacy, she opened the book.

'My name is Mari Lapis, a direct descendant of the Lapis bloodline. This is my journal as well as the family records from my generation.'

Juny frowned upon seeing this.

"Mari Lapis... I thought we didn't have a surname. Also, what is with the highly formal tone? Is the Lapis bloodline some sort of big deal?"

With confusion, Juny continued her reading.

'As per the official form, I shall first make an introduction.'

"An official form of what? Does this family tell people how they should write their Journals? The hell?!"

She couldn't help but smile at the absurdity.

'I am the daughter of the last record's scribe Julica Lapis and I have now taken over my mother's work at the age of 16 after her passing. Her previous records can be found in the 11th row in the 12th shelf. The Lapis bloodline's historical record of the current 5th epoch can be found on the 5th row in the 1st shelf...'

"This official mumbo jumbo is way too boring AND long. I ain't reading all that!"

She hissed before skimming through the upcoming text like she used to do when reading rules at school.

Then a particular phrase caught her attention.

'The Lapis family is in possession of The Void Pathway.'

"What the."

Juny brain caught onto the sentence as if it was her lifeline.

'The records containing the information on the Low sequence can be found in the 5th row of the 2nd shelf.'

'The records containing the information on the Mid sequence are present in a level 2 restricted area behind the 21st shelf.'

'The records concerning the lower-high sequences are in a level 4 restricted area.'

'The records concerning the higher-high sequences are in a level 7 highly-restricted area.'

'Information about sequences above this class is in a level 10 completely-restricted area.'

'For more precise information, refer to the mapping notes of the Knowledge-keeping area in the 4th row of official membership's bookshelf.'

'The ingredients for conducting a Low sequence potion can be found in the 5th row in the storage area. Beyonder characteristics from Low sequence of the pathway are safely sealed and isolated in the back 5th row in the storage area.'

'The ingredients for conducting a Mid sequence...'

Juny could feel herself starting to doze off. Even through knowing this part was important, she couldn't seem to force her eyes to stay open.

Pushing the book away, she massaged her temples.

"Sequence, Pathway, Mid, Low, High, Restricted, Beyonder, Characteristics..."

"Ugh.."

Juny couldn't seem to confirm the meaning of those words.

Her head was already pulsing from fatigue.

Exhaling, she pulled out a plain sheet of paper and a pen before continuing what she ceased.

"No sleep until I'm done!"

'I read somewhere that if you want to distract yourself from feeling tired you should change tasks..'

After finding a connection with her life on earth, she pressed the pen down and began writing.

'Space bender: large amount of ?spirituality?

Space Awareness - I can "see" the entire room the moment I step inside and can navigate through it. I can also feel anything invisible or hidden.

Space Manipulation - Basically Telekinesis with control over the ?spirituality? of others (no idea what that means).

Space Solidification - I can create solid things in my hand as long as I have some level of understanding about them.

Pocket Dimension - A portable storage.'

Finishing the few lines, Juny put the pen down.

"There's a lot of limitations but it sounds pretty cool. Especially that Pocket Dimension thing. I always hated backpacks."

With a slightly teasing smile she created a blank space before writing again.

'Enchanter: has a stronger version of previous abilities.

I have stronger, faster and more flexible body. My fighting skills as well as my thinking and memory also improve.

Battle Insight- predictions during combat and while in a tense state the action of danger sense.'

"Danger sense? Is that what the scene was?"

"So sometimes I can know of a creeping danger? Before, I'd say that it seems useless but I've already had my life saved by it once..."

Silently praising the Danger sense her hand continued writing.

'Material Vision - I can see ?spirituality? And spirits'

"Spirits? So they actually exist? Is spirit made out of spirituality? Is that what that is?"

Juny's thoughts wandered.

' - Even without activation, I can identify emitting spirituality from items or people in form of instinct.'

"Hmm"

She hummed as she suddenly got an idea. Bending over, she pulled out the glove and necklace. Careful so that she wouldn't lose herself again.

Putting the two items before her, she stared.

"So, is this Material Vision's instinct the feeling of importance I get?"

She stared at the two items for a second longer before pushing them aside and holding her pen.

'Enchantment - I can write in Runic Language using materials with ?spirituality?, including my blood...'

She couldn't help but distance herself from the paper, looking down blankly.

"My blood.."

Her eyes moved to the already dried blood on her palm.

"Hmm!"

She hummed with interest. She had no idea what it truly meant, because she has yet to understand the term spirituality, but writing with blood sounded cool.

Although a bit painful.

She continued to pen down.

'...to enchant items or my own body.'

"Creepy, but alright."

'Known Runes for enchantment:

Enchantment Strength- stronger effect and greater durability, a persons mental strength and confidence is Enchanted

Enchantment Ailment- causes the affected to become weak or ill

Enchantment Harm- all damage done will take longer to heal and bleeding will be more intense

Enchantment Find- I can find the marked thing/person by feeling or on a map around 5 km away + enchantment that can be cast with different enchantments

Enchantment Recovery- literally that. Damage done to items and people in the last 12 hours can be recovered (Unless it's too much)'

Putting the pen down, Juny massaged her wrist, reading the text again.

"Most enchantments last max 6 hours if I use my blood..."

"Except the Find thing. That's like 48 hours, and it can be stacked. No one will be able to steal from me now!"

With a smile she shook her head.

"As if. There's no way I'm Enchanting everything I own. Although they technically don't have to take anything, they just have to make contact."

"I'll enchant pieces of paper and just throw them out to make everyone fall sick."

She wore a mischievous smile.

As she read it again, Juny couldn't help but yawn.

Looking around, she suddenly frowned.

"I doubt I'll find any beds or pillows here, but I'm definitely not going out. I still have the shivers."

"Also, I'm not dumb enough to not realize the fact that they're for sure waiting outside."

"Can I exit from a different place I entered from?"

"Yaawn!"

Juny stood up, stretching.

"Well, it's warm here and the floor is not exactly hard. Imma just sleep on the floor."

Making up her mind, she took off the torn-up coat. Folding it, she placed it on the ground and lied down.

Not having a care at all, she fell asleep almost immediately.

With a gentle flutter, Juny's eyelids slid open, revealing her still-hazed pupils.

Sitting up, she rubbed her damp eyes, not exactly surprised.

Although she couldn't remember her dream, Juny could still feel the sense of longing that prickled her heart.

Taking a deep breath and stretching her slightly stiff back, she stood up, looking around the magnificent cosmic room.

Instead of immediately heading for miss Mari's diary, she searched through the nearest bookshelf.

Compared to the rest, it was truly kind of petite.

It had 4 rows instead of the normal 15 rows. Juny was pretty sure that this was the Official members' information bookshelf.

If it was the old her, she would for sure wonder how they could reach so high up. But after realizing that the Lapis family pretty much owned a power with Telekinesis, she didn't even think to question it.

Taking a closer look, she saw multiple books and documents with boring titles.

'Financial records year 1000, 5th epoch; Financial records year 900, 5th epoch;... Official list of documents from the year 500, 5th epoch;... Official text: Lapis bloodline history; Official text: Lapis bloodline records; Official text: Basic Mysticism knowledge of the Lapis bloodline; ... Goddess of Galaxies's Sacred Scripture; The Queen of Cosmos; Lapis family's origin; ...'

Although many of the texts seemed appealing, in the end, Juny reached for the one titled : 'Dimensional Space records'

"Dimensional Space must refer to this place."

Mumbling under her breath, Juny walked away and sat down.

Honestly, what she was truly interested in was the: 'Basic Mysticism knowledge of the Lapis bloodline', but the previous line: 'Official text' seemed way too boring. Making her lose interest.

Looking down at the book, she breathed out.

"I really hate reading... also, why is it in different language again?"

She gazed at miss Mari's Journal and back at the records.

"Shouldn't it be written in an officially predetermined language?"

"... Who am I to care, I can read it either way!"

With a self-mocking smirk, Juny opened the book and began reading.

...

"Ughh!"

The second Juny finished reading she groaned.

'I didn't understand half of it... but never mind that. At least I now how to navigate through this place.

Ever since she entered this space, Juny realized that her Space Awareness wasn't reacting or mapping as it should.

'Probably because this is not considered a "room."'

Closing the book, Juny looked towards the bookshelves.

Heaving an irritated sigh she stood up and walked over to the 2nd bookshelf.

Looking down at the 1st row she saw multiple books in different languages, with different thickness or shape, but ultimately the same meaning: 'General Mysticism Information for Beginners'.

Juny could feel her eye twitch.

'I can't believe I still have to study...'

"And this time, it might just be a life or death situation. I guess my past teachers would look at me and laugh..."

Covering her eyes in exasperation for a second, Juny couldn't help but look up to exclaim.

"I'm sorry mrs. Peterson! I shouldn't have slept through your classes! Please watch over me!"

Her lips naturally curved up as she reached out her hand forward.

Not to grab the book, but simply to catch it.

With some basic understanding, Juny could feel her fingertips tingling before they were naturally enveloped in transparent Violet-black flames.

She flinched slightly before targeting her attention to the thickest book of the bunch.

Her guess was that it must weigh at least 2 kg.

The book shook lightly. Moment after the transparent Violet flames spread across its surface, it flew up.

It landed precisely inside of Juny's palm.

Looking at the book that barely fit into her tiny hands, Juny couldn't help but smirk.

'For my first try, not too bad. Could work on the speed tho...'

"Also, will it always turn purple? Isn't that too eye catching?"

She gently furrowed her brows and looked at her free hand.

Out of curiosity, she once again channeled the Space Manipulation.

Half-transparent, Violet-black flame slowly appeared on top of her palm.

Although the word 'flame' is used to describe it. It generally didn't move much.

Instead of flickering and cracking like fire, the tip gently swayed and rolled back into itself in a smooth, staid motion.

Looking at it closely, Juny managed her thoughts to send an order.

Immediately, the beautiful, galaxy-styled flame turned more and more transparent before disappearing.

Once again, she looked at the thick book and tried to lift it up.

With no resistance whatsoever, the book flew up, seemingly by itself.

Juny's expression changed. She wore an astonished look before seeming enlightened.

'It looks how I want it to look..'

Unknowingly, Juny was greatly impressed by the galaxy themed Space she found herself in. And, although the Galaxy had a Cyan sub color, Juny unknowingly wished for her power's appearance to mimic it.

She simply changed the additional color from Cyan to Violet, creating stunning purplish black flame as her standard color.

"I like that!"

Looking at the still levitating book, she changer her thoughts.

Slowly, the book was surrounded in deep blue watery particles instead of flames.

"I can do that too?"

The book's surroundings changed into a white spirals emanating a green after color, it was similar to wind effects often seen in illustrations. But no wind could be felt from it.

She changed the appearance multiple times, getting more and more creative.

Finally, she felt herself getting lightheaded and cleverly stopped, reverting the appearance back to the purplish-galaxy flame.

Out of all of the ones she tried, this was still the most pleasing and satisfying to look at.

'Also, it looks cool as f*ck.'

Sitting down she looked down at the book: 'Introduction to Mysticism, Detailed Version, by ———'

Taking a deep breath, she was just about to open it when she heard stuffed rumbling.

Gulping down her saliva, she could no longer feign ignorance to the hunger.

"Also, I haven't drunk anything since- well ever since I became Kalia. And god knows when she last drunk."

Taking a breath, Juny got up and quickly walked towards the storage area.

Looking at the 1st shelf, she reached out and opened a neatly stacked drawer.

This wasn't exactly food in the true sense of the world. But, in the 1st shelf, items with spirituality that you can commonly find outside are stored.

This includes all kinds of special liquids as well as edible plants. Since, in this Dimensional Space, it's as if time has stopped for these items, so they won't spoil or rot.

"Now that I think about it, the book mentioned that people shouldn't stay here for prolonged periods of time. Especially still-growing teens..."

"I'm a child though? Isn't that worse?"

"..."

Pulling out a fruit oddly similar to an apple, Juny sighed.

"It's fine, the book said that healthy limit for teens is 60 hours. I'll read the book and get out of here for some time."

Moving to the safe 'drinks' she continued to mumble.

"Thankfully, I can exit to a different place than the one I entered from. As long as it's within 15 km from the place."

Picking a colorless liquid she begun to walk back.

"I should get out near some city. I need to buy actual clothes."

As she said that, her head turned down as she inspected her attire. Just then, she realized that she never really payed any attention to it.

It was much worse than she thought.

She didn't have any shoes and her socks were torn apart.

She wore a short dress usually seen on little girls from typical middle-class families, only that the dress was completely torn up, revealing her stomach which previously occupied a gruesome wound.

And what used to be a gentle beige color is now almost completely dark red, if not black.

On her neck Juny wore a beautiful and deep black necklace with Lapis colored starry decoration.

With her current appearance, this was especially striking.

Finally, she wore a torn up black coat.

It was long, covering her legs. The coat was missing at least one-third of it's sleeves which, for a nine years old girl, was perfect.

"..."

"Forget bloodied money, I can't even show my face in public like this..."

"Also! I'm pretty sure my face looks like a zombie's!"

Arriving at the desk she sat down and looked at the bag made out of torn up coat.

'That reminds me, I haven't checked their money yet."

Juny put the food down before searching through the bag.

She pulled out three blood-stained wallets.

The wallet that was missing was from mr. No-Intestines because it was completely torn up.

Heaving a sigh, she opened the worst-looking one - the one from mr. Crushed-Neck-and-Legs.

Looking through it, she found seven 10 risot notes, four 5 risot notes, and 6 risot in gold coins. He also had some 5 and 1 negans and 32 setta.

'Thinking back, Kalia had quite a bit of geography knowledge, although it only consisted of names of the kingdoms and Republics.'

'Kalia and her mother lived in Feynapotter Kingdom near the border with Loen Kingdom.'

Looking at the notes, Juny sighed.

"Well, at least three 10 risot and one 5 risot notes are unusable. The rest are coins, so they're good."

...

She did the same with the two remaining wallets. Juny ended up with fourteen 10 risot notes, ten 5 risot notes, 17 risot gold coins, 87 negans and 127 setta.

Strangely enough, she also found one 10 pound note and two 5 pound notes.

"What Kingdom is this from... Kalia never learned economics!"

With some confusion, Juny stuffed the money into mr. No-Forearm's wallet, which was the least bloody and torn up.

To speak the truth, she has already learned that this Dimensional Space had a safe with large amount of money. After all, the Lapis family was in hold of an entire pathway, there's no way they wouldn't be rich.

Or that's what Juny thought. She still didn't understand what a 'pathway' meant.

The thing is, she felt bad touching it. Because, at the end of the day, Juny was not part of the family.

Sure, she was in the body of one, but it would leave a bad taste in her mouth if she used this family's money.

She might've transmigrated, but she still has a sense of decency.

'I'll take your knowledge but I'll let the money be... the food doesn't count."

Heaving a sigh, Juny threw the other two wallets back into the bag and turned to the book.

Finally, she started reading as she took a bite out of the apple-like fruit.

"Sour..."

This didn't displease her, in fact, Juny enjoyed sour food, especially green and sour apples.

As she swallowed the juices she felt her energy slowly restoring.

The headache disappeared and her mind cleared up.

"Is this the effect of 'spirituality'?"

With a mutter, Juny began reading.

'In the world of mysticism, there is a basic classification system of Sequences amongst the paths to the divine. We also call these paths, Pathways. This concept was established near the end of the second epoch with the appearance of the First Blasphemy Slate. This Slate introduced the, now common, knowledge about the different 22 Standard Pathways.'

'Each Pathway consists of 10 sequences. These sequences are ranked from 9th sequence as the weakest and 0th sequence as the strongest. In this way, the sequences are separated into specific levels: Low, Mid and High. High-Sequences can be also split into High-lower sequence and High-higher sequence.'

'The sequences 9 and 8 are considered a Low-Sequence. These sequences do not offer a qualitative change. Before the 5th epoch, Sequence 7 was also classified as a Low-Sequence, but that was officially changed. Sequence 7 is now, together with sequences 6 and 5, considered a Mid-Sequence. At this point a greatly qualitative change will occur, causing an absolute separation between ordinary humans and those on the Path to the Divine.'

'High-Sequences are also known as Demigods, they gain powers beyond normal comprehension. High-lower sequences are sequences 4 and 3, also referred to as Saints. High-higher sequences are 2 and 1, they're also called angels.'

'Sequence 0 doesn't have an official classification as they are referred to as 'True Gods.''

'Humans, who have chosen to take a Path leading to the divine and have gained abilities beyond ordinary standard, are referred to as 'Beyonders.''

Juny's eyes came to a pause, the world echoing through her mind.

"I'm one of them now."

A slightly condescending smile appeared on her lips.

"Beyonders."
